Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take: 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error for any change in no. 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

Hi lybrate-user, the prescribed med are okay, it may take sometime before you get relief as probably the infection would be more. Please undergo the treatment explained by the doctor probably root canal or extraction for complete relief. Do warm water saline rinses 3- 4 times a day as that would give you the most relief and avoid any hot packs from outside, do not try and press the swelling. I hope the measures would be of help to you.

Irregular cycles or excessive flow during cycles is a common problem seen in a large number of females. Hormonal abnormalities are the most common cause of irregular and heavy menstrual flow. Thus, you need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and endometrial biopsy/ curretings for diagnosis of the condition and thus treatment.

There is no medicine for valve damage. Surgery is the only solution. Get checked and treated by a surgeon.

Mr. Lybrate-user, diabetes mellitus is occurring due to either insulin deficiency or resistance to its action or both. In case of t1 dm there is total absence of insulin. Both these conditions can only be controlled by proper treatment with drugs, diet control and exercise. There is no cure. Every one diabetes has to take treatment for life time and keep a tight control on blood sugar, or else there can be serious life threatening complications.

Arke rahat:- with its refreshing scent, peppermint helps open up clogged blood vessels which cause headache. It contains menthol which helps regulate blood flow in the body. Quietly breathe in the aroma in a cool, dark room. You can also mix 3 drops of peppermint oil in one tablespoon of almond oil, or just add a little water and massage the temples or the back of your neck with it. Alternatively, can apply crushed peppermint leaves on your forehead. Make an herbal tea by adding 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint to a cup of boiling water. Cover and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain and add some honey to sweeten it. Sip the tea slowly. Lavender oil: not only does lavender have a beautiful fragrance - it's also a great remedy for alleviating headaches. Simply smelling the soothing scent of lavender essential oil helps, so you can just put a few drops on a tissue and inhale it. You can also add 2 drops of lavender oil to two cups of boiling water and inhale the steam. Another option is to mix two or three drops in one tablespoon of almond oil or olive oil and massage your forehead with it" you can even draw a foot bath of lavender oil and peppermint, since the hot water draws blood to your feet and the aroma relaxes muscles relax. So when a headache looms, you know what to do. On the pain. And believe it or not, just soaking your feet in hot water also helps get rid of a headache. For a severe headache, add a bit of hot mustard powder to the water. Inhale the steam after boiling basil in a pot of water.

It might be implantation bleeding. please repeat urine pregnancy test after 5 to 7 days. It will be better to go for pelvis-usg scan (sonography)

Chewing Your Food Properly - Why it is Important?

You probably do not think much about chewing while eating your food. Chewing is indeed important for your health. Well, this simple behaviour of chewing your food properly helps in proper digestion, absorption of essential nutrients and keeps several diseases at bay. When you chew your food properly, your body gives out digestive enzymes which break the large particles into smaller ones. Smaller particles are easy for you to digest.

If your food is not properly digested you can suffer from many digestive issues like bloating, stomach pain, indigestion, headache, constipation and also exhaustion. The number of times you are actually supposed to chew your food depends on the type of food you are eating. Softer food items break down easily and are also easy to digest. You should at least chew these food products 5-10 times before swallowing. Dense food takes time to break down and hence is difficult to digest. You should chew them about 30 times before swallowing. You can also take the package for Eating Right.


The benefits of chewing your food properly

  1. Easy digestion and exposure to saliva: Chewing your food for a longer time helps your food to come into direct contact with your saliva.   4. Chewing helps to prevent any kind of bacterial growth: Your food most of the time contains bacteria and saliva helps in killing some of them. So if you are eating longer and slower, it gets time to kill the bacteria which might affect your digestive process.
  5. Chewing gives you time to taste and enjoy your food: Properly chewing every morsel of your food lets you taste and enjoy the food you are eating which helps you in staying fit and healthy.

Body weight of a person depend upon many things like genetics, diet, lifestyle etc. We can't change any genetic factor but we can change our life style to build muscles and increase weight. To gain weight naturally, a good balanced diet is required. Fruits, vegetables, proteins (cereals, grains, nonveg and egg are rich in protein), milk and yoghurt etc is required to be taken daily. Proteins will help in building muscle mass. The other thing you should do is exercise regularly like swimming, cycling or jogging. You can also join a gym as appetite increases after exercising. Exercise is of paramount importance because it releases endorphins from the body. This will increase your stamina also. Also sound sleep is required without any disturbance for 7-8 hours a day, as this increases the release of growth hormone and other enzymes to build your tissue. Start immediately with homoeopathic medication - sulphur 200/ one dose daily in the morning for a week and 10 drops of arnica montana q in 1/2 cup of water and apply on the face on the beard and the mustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor. Repeat the above process every 3rd day for few months. There are certain nutrients that you can add to your daily routine that can help encourage faster, more effective hair growth. Promote thicker hair with folic acid. This is necessary for the growth and repair of hair, take follihair/ 1 tablet daily for 3 months. You can also try increasing the amount of folic acid in your diet. Folic acid can be found in whole-grain breads and cereals, leafy green vegetables, peas, and nuts. Increase your biotin intake. Use your finger tips, and gently massage your face in circular motions for about two to three minutes. Try applying a facial moisturizer to create a smoother massage. -take in vitamin a. This vitamin stimulates the production of sebum, which keeps your hair follicles and skin hydrated. You can find vitamin a in eggs, meat, cheese, liver, carrots, pumpkin, broccoli, and dark green leafy vegetables. -get plenty of vitamin e, which has long been recognized as key for healthy skin, and can increase blood flow, which leads to an optimal environment for hair growth. Foods rich in vitamin e include oils, leafy vegetables, nuts, and beans, and most people get plenty of vitamin e when eating a normal diet. -boost circulation with vitamin b3. Healthy circulation may have a positive effect on hair growth. Reports find that b3 is even more effective when taken with biotin. -take in vitamin b5. This is also known as pantothenic acid. It not only helps the body use fats and proteins, necessary for healthy hair, it also has been reported to help reduce stress; and stress can definitely inhibit hair growth. Vitamin b5 occurs naturally in brewer's yeast, broccoli, avocado, egg yolks, organ meats, duck, milk, lobster, whole-grain breads, and more.

1.Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2.Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Wheat Germ oil to massage your head at night. You can also put some fenugreek powder in the oil, heat the oil a bit and apply it on scalp for hairfall, whitening and dandruff. 3.Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4.Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5.Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. How to sleep better tips: be smart about what you eat and drink, etc limit caffeine. You might be surprised to know that caffeine can cause sleep problems up to ten to twelve hours after drinking it! avoid big meals at night. Avoid alcohol before bed. Avoid drinking too many liquids in the evening. Aviod stress (physical or mental) do this if problem is still remain in same position, then you need a some counselling session with homoeopathic medicine. DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things, so that you get better results in a short period of time . 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day 2) try to take liquid diet as per your body strength for 1-3 days only. 3) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals . 4) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal 5) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods. 6) avoid late night sleeping habits . 7) avoid coffee and tea. 8) do exercise regularly in form of walking, jogging, running, cycling, aerobics. For 15-30 minutes as per your strength. A) Take 30 ml of aloe vera juice along with 30 ml of honey and 30 ml of lukewarm water, at night before sleep. B) take 10 ml of fresh lemon juice and 10 gm of jaggary before meals. C) eat 10 gms of barley seeds along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals do all these things for 30 days it gives you good result.

Hi Mr. Lybrate-user, gym is not the only option you have to do some dietary changes in your daily routine diet. Try to take more & more green leafy vegetables and fruits. Take small & frequent meal. Do not skip your breakfast. Avoid simple carbs & sugar in diet. Try to avoid heavy dinner.

Heart Valve Disease - Causes And Symptoms

Complications in the heart valve occur when the functioning of the heart valve is impaired. Valves of the heart allow the blood to flow in one direction and prevent the blood from flowing back into the ventricles of the heart.

Heart valve diseases can be classified as follows:

  1. Valvular stenosis: This condition occurs when the valves of the heart does not open completely due to stiffness. As the opening is narrow, the heart has to work hard to pump blood. This condition may lead to heart failure.
  2. Valvular insufficiency: This is a condition where the valve does not close tightly. This causes some of the blood to flow back to the valve. As this condition deteriorates, the heart has to work harder to pump blood. 

Types and Causes of valve diseases:

  1. Acquired valve disease: The structure of the valve changes due to various infections or rheumatic fever. Rheumatic fever is caused by bacterial infection that had not been treated. It tends to occur in children and cause inflammation of the valve.
  2. Congenital valve disease: This condition usually affects the pulmonary valve where the size of the valve is abnormal.
  3. Bicuspid aortic valve disease: It is a type of valve disease that impairs the aortic valve. Instead of the regular three cusps, the bicuspid valve only has two. This may cause the valve to be stiff or cause it to leak.
  4. Mitral valve prolapse: This condition causes the valve to flop back when the heart contracts. This condition also causes the leaflets of the valve to turn irregularly and cause it to stretch. This condition causes the valve to leak.

SymptomsThe symptoms of valve diseases are as follows:

  1. Weakness: This condition may cause weakness and cause severe discomfort while performing daily activities.
  2. Palpitations: Symptoms such as irregular heartbeats, skipped beats and rapid heart rhythm occurs in this condition.
  3. Rapid weight gain: This condition can cause you to gain weight very rapidly.
  4. It may cause swelling in your ankles, abdomen and feet.
