Hello sir I am 21 year old my problem is my weight is 42 kg I hve consult to many doctor in hyd lyk in yashoda hospital fr weight gain I hve done many test lyk stool, diabetes, lft, bp, sugar every test which the doctor has prescribed to me bt my test results are normal thn after result I consult to doctor he told me your fine nd heriterey is also one reason fr nt getting weight gain so please help me out sir how I increase my weight. A month ago I had some blood tests in which my calcium level was 9.5 in normal range n vit d 5.8 wid its severe deficiency. I started taking vit d supplements as suggested by Dr. But I also started taking women Horlicks wid milk twice a day. Will it increase my calcium level abnormally as women Horlicks z rich in ca n milk too? Also my tsh was 9.6 I am taking thyrox 12.5 mg.

There is no reason to worry. You can take the milk with Horlicks if you enjoy it. In order to gain good healthy you need to exercise along with taking supplements. A healthy lifestyle is very important as it can help you to deal with the thyroid problem also. Include Yoga as it is very beneficial in hormonal disturbances and harmonizes the whole body mechanism.

Do exercise to increase stamina.Eat extra than before.Avoid fast foods as far as possible.Take dense fruits,vegetables.Use nuts,seeds as snacks.Drink lots of water but not during meals.Take protein rich foods.Take quality sleep.These are helpful but for more quick result consult me privately on Lybrate.

For gaining weight, you have to be patient and practice it correctly. You should take every 2 hourly meal and fix your meal timing and don't take heavy meals. Firstly try to improve your digestion process if you are taking normal diet and you are facing the problem then you should go for liver function test. In diet include good amount of nuts and High Proteins Along With Calories Like Eggs, lean meat, fish, skinless chicken, pulses, sprouts, and dairy products that rich sources of proteins. Please take fruit shakes (Like banana, mango) + 5-6 almonds and 1-2 walnuts. Have fruits shake/lassi/badam shake Go for weight gain exercise. For acidity you can have chamomile tea after meals, and it is best to avoid spicy and fried food.

For gaining weight you have to improve your metabolism. Have some fruits in morning on empty stomach. Have rice, potato, sweet potato, banana with milk and take other milk products. Have natural sugars like honey and jaggery. Do 30 mins of body weight exercises daily Cyproheptadine has side effects. During treatment with this medicine, you may experience drowsiness, constipation, dizziness, blurred vision, or dry mouth, nose or throat as side effects. Some people may also experience serious side effects like mood changes, shaking, seizures, difficulty urinating and irregular heartbeat.
