Heart problems are uncommon at your age. ECG is normal but to be on safer side get ECHO and TMT done. As per your other symptoms you could be suffering from myofascial pain syndromes or Fibromyalgia. I would suggest you to undergo ECHO and TMT first. If they are normal consult a pain specialist. Don't worry these pain conditions can be managed easily with medicines and nerve blocks if needed. For further queries consult again.

Dear lybrate-user, Start the following: 1. Drink 9 glasses of water spread through out the day. 2. Stop eating in front of the TV/PC and eat on time 3. Eat fresh cooked foods and totally ban packages fast foods that re ruining your digestion, causing acidity that leads to chest pain (called heart burns) 4. Step out and do outdoor sports. You are too young to fall sick like this! regards.

Angina Care

M.B.B.S. , PG Diploma In Clinical Cardiology
Cardiologist, Delhi
Angina Care

Angina is a term used for chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart muscle. Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease. Angina is typically described as squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness or pain in your chest.

Symptoms associated with angina include:

    Chest pain or discomfort
Pain in your arms, neck, jaw, shoulder or back accompanying chest pain
    Nausea
    Fatigue
    Shortness of breath
    Sweating
    Dizziness

The chest pain and discomfort common with angina may be described as pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain in the center of your chest. Some people with angina symptoms describe angina as feeling like a vise is squeezing their chest or feeling like a heavy weight has been placed on their chest. For others, it may feel like indigestion.

The severity, duration and type of angina can vary. It's important to recognize if you have new or changing chest discomfort. New or different symptoms may signal a more dangerous form of angina (unstable angina) or a heart attack.

Stable angina is the most common form of angina, and it typically occurs with exertion and goes away with rest. If chest discomfort is a new symptom for you, it's important to see your doctor to find out what's causing your chest pain and to get proper treatment. If your stable angina gets worse or changes, seek medical attention immediately.

Characteristics of stable angina

Develops when your heart works harder, such as when you exercise or climb stairs
Can usually be predicted and the pain is usually similar to previous types of chest pain you've had
Lasts a short time, perhaps five minutes or less
Disappears sooner if you rest or use your angina medication

Characteristics of unstable angina

    Occurs even at rest
Is a change in your usual pattern of angina
    Is unexpected
Is usually more severe and lasts longer than stable angina, maybe as long as 30 minutes
May not disappear with rest or use of angina medication
    Might signal a heart attack
    Thanks

My age is 62 years. My bones are getting weaker. My LDL cholesterol is also around 120. Can these be corrected by ayurvedic or unani medicines.

Hi, try to control your cholesterol level by natural ayurveda medicines. Low-density lipoprotein (ldl) cholesterol also known as bad cholesterol. Ldl cholesterol causes a buildup of cholesterol in the arteries while hdl cholesterol carries the cholesterol from other parts of the body to the liver which removes it. Higher ldl levels increases chances of getting heart disease while higher hdl levels lower them. Ldl above 100 mg/dl is too high. Try to take ayurveda medicines like abana tab 2 tab thrice, amritadi gugul 5oo mg twice, have alovera juice 30ml twice.

Hello! Doctor one day suddenly why my blood pressure is very low and I ills very much why is he happen.

Hello! Doctor one day suddenly why my blood pressure is very low and I ills very much why is he happen.
You've probably heard that high blood pressure is a problem. Sometimes blood pressure that is too low can also cause problems. Blood pressure is the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your arteries. Each time your heart beats, it pumps out blood into the arteries. Your blood pressure is highest when your heart beats, pumping the blood. This is called systolic pressure. When your heart is at rest, between beats, your blood pressure falls. This is the diastolic pressure. Your blood pressure reading uses these two numbers. Usually they're written one above or before the other, such as 120/80. If your blood pressure reading is 90/60 or lower, you have low blood pressure. Some people have low blood pressure all the time. They have no symptoms and their low readings are normal for them. In other people, blood pressure drops below normal because of a medical condition or certain medicines. Some people may have symptoms of low blood pressure when standing up too quickly. Low blood pressure is a problem only if it causes dizziness, fainting or in extreme cases, shock. Certain medicines and substances can lead to low blood pressure, including:     * Alcohol     * Anti-anxiety medicines     * Certain antidepressants     * Diuretics     * Heart medicines, including those used to treat high blood pressure and coronary heart disease     * Medicines used for surgery     * Painkillers Other causes of low blood pressure include:     * Nerve damage from diabetes     * Changes in heart rhythm (arrhythmias)     * Not drinking enough fluids (dehydration)     * Heart failure You can do a few things to prevent low blood pressure     * Drinking more fluids     * Getting up slowly after sitting or lying down     * Not drinking alcohol     * Not standing for a long time     * Using compression stockings so blood does not collect in the legs Get these test done to find cause of blood pressure problems tests include Thyroid functions, ECG, ECHO.

Even before cholesterol lowering medicines, you must take care of your diet and increase your exercise, because you need to convert your LDL in to HDL which is possible without medicines and doing regular exercises. If even after dietary restrictions of animal fats and exercises, the cholesterol levels remain high then anti lipid medication can be considered.
