Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Hello lybrate-user, for healthy weight gain you need to make some changes in your daily diet routine. They are as follows: 1) eat more than three meals a day. 2) don't wait until your stomach starts to growl to eat. 3) eat plenty of calories at every meal. You can add peanut butter, nuts, cheese in your meals. 4) you can have banana or milkshakes in between your meals to maintain the calorie need. 5) avoid eating lots of junk food. It can wreck your metabolism. 6) drink plenty of water. 7) have sound sleep.

Dear lybrate user obesity and dark complexion after giving birth is very common it is due to many factors one of them is anxiety which is experienced by new mother anxiety triggers over eating the result is obesity. Homoeopathy has good management for such situations.

This is not your age of gaining weight through supplement but start eating healthy food with which you will start gaaining weight. Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Take high fiber low fat diet. Drink lot of water everyday. Take small and frequent meals at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. Avoid outside food completely. Ask me privately customized diet plan for you.

Hi lybrate user. Good that you have started your weight loss journey. However there is no such thing as'fat cutter' these are all myths and misinformation. You are wasting your time and attention over things which won't creat any benefit for you. There is no food, no medicine, no drug, no herb, no tea which can create weight loss for you. The only and the only way to reduce weight is to get fit. Fitness is achieved by a combination of healthy foods (60-70%) and active exercises (30-40%) our body is designed in such a way that when we eat more than we need. The extra fat gets accumulated. That extra fat can only go off by burning it through exercise and eating healthy food. There is no short cut available. So my recommendation is to eat healthy, be active, eat natural, drink lots of water. This is what can change your body and your life.

You should avoid fatty oily food. Follow as under: a. Salt intake: maximum five gm per day. B. Do not add salt while cooking as iodine gets evaporated. Add after the cooking is done this c. Sugar intake 20 gm. White sugar. You may use jaggery or honey as alternate of sugar. D. Oil 30 ml per day e. Rice bran oil is the best oil. F. Avoid ghee and butter as much as possible. G. Coconut oil is best for massage. H. Water 1200 ml per day drink it as sip by sip. I. Drink luke water two glass atleast. J. Exercise atleast 6 minutes daily 2 minutes revolve all joints clockwise and anticlockwise wise five time each 2 minutes run on the spot in full speed 2 minutes deep breathing exercise. K. 600 calories breakfast.

Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications.
