The choice is yours. To see clearly, you either need to wear glasses or contact lenses or undergo a very safe refractive surgery- commonly LASIK. Or you live with blurred vision. Healthy diet and exercise helps maintain healthy body and eyes. Will improve efficiency of eye muscles but not correct the entire refractive error. Else none of us would be wearing glasses.

Hello this may be due to dryness you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eye drop like flogel This is a provisional diagnosis. Consult your ophthalmologist for detailed examination.

Redness of the eyes has multiple causes associated with it. To enumerate a few common causes: (1)Allergy of the eye. It is usually caused by improper eye hygiene. There is a tendency to rub the eyes with fingers, handkerchief, cloth, etc. This is not a good habit because it tends to transmit lots of virus, bacteria and dust into the eye. Allergy usually presents with symptoms of watering (clear water), redness and itching of the eye. (2)Infectious conjunctivitis : this is usually associated with white-yellowish discharge. If so, it would be a good idea to go and show to an eye specialist in person. (3)Foreign body lodged in the eye. This is more commonly associated with people who drive 2 wheeler vehicles without protection. It occurs more commonly in one eye. Foreign bodies that commonly get lodged are eyelashes, insect wings, small insects, dust particles, iron particles(more common with people working in the iron industry) The solution for a foreign body lodged in the eye would be better provided by an eye specialist AT THE CLINIC. (4)Raised intraocular pressure: This is a condition known as glaucoma. it is not so common as the previous mentioned conditions. There is usually associated pain in the eyes. It is commonly bilateral(occurs in both eyes). There is usually a positive family history of glaucoma associated in a majority of the cases. (5)Inflammation of the coats of the eyeball. This is known as "uveitis". It is also a relatively less common condition. There is associated pain. It would require a thorough eye checkup including the retina-thus a good idea would be to visit the eye specialist in person. FROM THE SYMPTOMS DESCRIBED BY YOU, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Maintaining the precautions and hygiene that I mentioned should probably work well for you. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care, regards-Dr. Chaitanya.

My eyes is always having problem, like reddish and water in eyes, and mostly that time when I ride a bike, so what I do.

Eyes water because , while driving the rate at which the eye dries up increases , hence of rate of secretion of tears also goes up. since we are not driving at a constant speed there is a mismatch between the tear secretion and eyes drying up . our body always tries to over perform. this over secreted tears is too much to handle by the normal tear route from the eyes to the nose. hence the excess tears overflow leading to watering. So it is a normal process.Dont worry about this.Your eyes are normal. Homoeopathic medicine CINELUBE EYEDROPS ( HAPDCO) Pour 2 drops 3 times daily.

Hii I am 20 years old boy. My eye reddens every evening what I do and water comes from my eyes also whay I do.
Hello dear there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc. 1. Redness + itching: allergy 2. Redness + pain+ watering + decreased vision: infection 3. Redness + pain: inflammation 4. Redness+ foreign body sensation: dryness if there is only redness then it is normal as slight exposure to dust, temperature or air or eyes may be red in morning. Stress may also cause redness. I usually do not treat when there is only redness, you can 1. Blink a lot 2. Wash eyes with fresh water 3. Cold compresses 4. Use lubricating eyedrop like flogel these measures will help to keep your eyes healthy but it will not have any effect on redness (treating generalredness alone is not necessary also) having said that you should consult local ophthalmologist for proper examination and treatment.

I think you consult an eye specialist for local examination of your eyes to rule out possibility of weak eyessight.

I have a question about my 1-year-old daughter whom I accidentally elbowed in the left eye, then suddenly a red spot occurred in her sclera. Is there a cure to treat the red spot? What should I do?

MBBS, MS - Ophthalmology

As per your explanation, it seems to be subconjunctival hemorrhage but one should always get it examined to rule out any other internal injuries which if not caught in time may hamper your vision later.

If you still have irritation, foreign body sensation in eye please visit eye doctor to ensure no foreign body is present. Frequent blinking helps bring the foreign body to inner corner of eye from where you can pick up the fb. It was good you didn't rub your eyes. The eye twitching is unrelated and in most cases self limiting. Don't worry about it.

I had eyesight+1.5 So is it possible to reduce eyesight to normal level
Is any diet or exercises.
Yes of course. Eye exercises like Trataka, candle gazing etc work well in reducing eye power. Since yours is not too high, it certainly can be reduced. Please go to a trained Ayurvedic eye physician. Learn exercises and diet tips from them and practice it for about 6 to 12 months. Your problem will be solved.
