Start by following a good diet - Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet. Next important step is to follow good hair care - Oiling your hair with a mixture of oils like olive, sesame, coconut and castor oil keeps provides moisture to your hair and prevent them from drying and breakage. Once in a week apply a good hair mask. You can mix and prepare different types of masks using green tea, olive oil, milk, gooseberry, etc. You can also start with zinc and biotin supplements. Losing your hair can do serious damage to your self-esteem. But luckily, there are plenty of options to help you fight it. Hair loss is very common these days because of increased stress,nutritional deficiencies, lack of exercise and increase intake of junk food. Other causes of hair fall could be genetic, hormonal imbalances, under-active thyroid gland, and insufficient blood circulation in the scalp. There are many treatment options for hair loss including medications, home remedies. There are various over the counter medications available for preventing hair loss, but you need the ones most suitable to your hair type to get effective results.  Home remedies would include oiling your hair more often, include Amla/Indian gooseberry in your diet to promote new hair growth, apple cider vinegar can be effective to control hair fall and it gives soft and manageable hairs.

Hello Dr. I am 27 year old male . Yesterday evening first time I have checked my blood pressure unknowingly and the result came is shocking 168/100. So I worried and recheck in night and my bp came is 140/98. Today morning I checked my fasting blood sugar its 105 because somebody has suggest me your father has sugar you please check . And after 2 hour I checked my bp its 120/80 then I feel relax but in evening I rechecked my bp its 145/110. Dr. My body head hand pain and I feel lazy and tired all time and think to take sleep or take a nap. Dr. . I regular go for morning walk. Dr. From last 15 days I am upset due to my father high sugar. Dr. please advise me what to do and reason behind this is their any serious problem.

Mr. Lybrate-user, some times bp may show variation during the day, but that is not as wide as in your case. So please check the bp after a day or two, at the same time. If it shows higher number (>140/90mmhg), then there may be a need for considering treatment for the same, mainly because you are too young to have high bp. As regards diabetes, with 105 mg blood sugar, you seem to have no such problem. But because your father has diabetes, you need to be very careful. For that you have to adapt a modified lifestyle. That is to maintain normal weight (bmi <23 kgs/m2), your present bmi is 30.46 kgs/m2 which shows grade 1 obesity. This is the major contributor for increased bp and can lead to diabetes. Your ideal body weight has to be 80 kgs. Plus a daily exercise of over 1 hour is needed. Also dietary intake has to be based on 80 kgs and extent of daily physical activity. No smoking and alcohol. This life style can keep you away from high blood pressure and diabetes. Thanks.

Hi Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal...

Hi,start physiotherapy treatment and learn posture care/ spine exercise. Meanwhile take few precautions. 1) take hot water fomentation for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Interval. 2) do not lift heavy weights or twist your spine 3) do not wear high heals do not ignore your back pain and do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

Maine oriflame ke product use kiye h tatamsol soap bi use kia or home remedy bi ki. But vo result nhi mila jo muje chahiye. Or yaha koi skin doctor nhi jisse main conern kru. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. Apply lip balm before you sleep. If possible, use balms containing shea or cocoa butter. Never peel off the dead dry skin from the lips, instead clean it with a cotton ball soaked in warm water or with the help of soft bristled toothbrush. Never lick or bite the skin of lips.

Sea vegetables - if you have a thyroid issue sea vegetables are highly recommended for an underactive thyroid. An underactive thyroid can cause thinning of the hair and even the eyebrows. These sea vegetables include kelp, nori, and dulse (see the link below for the amazing health benefits of sea vegetables, also known as seaweed). If you east sushi it is often wrapped with nori. It is also sold in dried forms and can easily be sprinkled over foods. Add them several times per week. They are also sold in supplement form. Sea vegetables have been determined to be far more beneficial than food grown on land.

Hello you need not worry. You need to understand the concept of weight loss. It's a gradual process that requires cut down in calories under the guidance of a dietitian and regular exercise is must. Yiu need to take some time from your schedule to do exercises. Take 3 main meals and 2 side meals. Don't skip breakfast. Sleep for 7-9 hours per night. Avoid fried foods, sweets, carbonated drinks and processed foods. Include whole grains, sprouts, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Take flaxseed powder 1 tsp with lukewarm water on empty stomach. Drink plenty of water. Take green tea 3-4 cups a day. Thank you.

Hye. Eye health cannot deteriorate with using your brain. You need to concentrate on maintaining your basic health to help improve eyesight. Try not to do minute jobs like computer work or use of mobile phone etc continuously for more than an hour at a stretch. Improve your health and weight. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite.

According to ayurveda, for treatmnet of obesity, you firstly stop causative factors from your life style. Like drinking too much cold water, eat too much sweets, day sleep, water after meal, lack of exercise, curd, menda etc. I will need your detail history. Till you can follow this * start drinking hot water * stop day sleep * start any exercise in morning, like suryanamaskar, walking, joging, sports * drink juice of turmeric n ginger with honey * take jau barley, instead of ghenhu wheat. * use cow ghee n milk only * boild rise in open pot, don't use cocker. Withdraw water if rice.

Generally, people take wrong path to gain weight in absence of proper knowledge and start eating high calories food like pizzas, parathas and other junk foods. One can gain weight but results would not be favorable at all. These things may lead to low metabolism, weak digestion system, apart from that high blood pressure, high sugar and other heart related issues may occur.
