I am diagnosed diabetics since June 2014 after consultation with endocrinologist ,taking medicine starvoj0. 2 two times with breakfast and lunch and glycomet 1gm ,xtor10 one tablet each after dinner. As per last blood test on 28/8/2016 my hb1Ac is 6.0% ,Fasting 93 mg/dl ,PP 101 mg/dl, HDL 26 mg/dl, LDL 78 mg/dl ,cholesterol 121 mg/dl, triglyceride114 mg/dl ,VLDL 17 mg/dl ,Urea 22 mg/dl ,creatinine 0.9 mg/dl ,hemoglobin 13.8 g/dl. Please advice whether I continue this medicine or stop taking medicine. I also want to share that I am walk every day around 6-7 km approx.

Mr. lybrate-user Prasad, If you have been diagnosed to have diabetes, then the treatment has to be continued for lifetime. Even if the blood glucose is well controlled even then the treatment has to be continued for lifetime. Along with the drugs, diet control and exercise (walking for 6 -7 kms every day) has to be continued. Thanks.

The sensetivity in your teeth may either be due to loss of tooth enamel or dental caries (cavities). You can try using an over the counter desensetizing paste for 15 days. If the sensetivity continues or gets worse you should consult your neighbourhood dentist.

Hello, you should take a homoeopathic tincture called arnica montana and mix 1 tsp in 1/2 cup of water and apply upon the face on the beard and the moustache area with a cotton swab. Then use the razor movement technique. Take sulphur 200, 5 drops once in a week. Take pituitarinum 1x, 1 tablet daily for 15 days. Repeat the process every third day. Revert me after 1 month.

Acne - 1. strictly avoid all junks, oily -spicy food, pickles if u r eating, drink lots of water, juices or daily have fresh fruits. try to keep ur bowel clear. regularly wash ur face with any gud herbal face wash. U can apply some home - made mixture like - Besan + Milk and Multani mitti+Rose Water+ milk at night which wud prevent ur pimples. Always cover ur face with piece of cloth or mask when u move out in sun and dust. Always Keep ur Bowel habits normal. Do have gud sleep - atleast 7 hrs a day.....avoid sleeping very late nights. although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. For that u may consult me privately over Lyberate. Please update with ur valuable feedback. HAIRFALL- Start taking black til (Seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items. Start avle ka murabba. Also have a high protien rich diet e.g. Pulses, Dry fruits, Black gram, Ground nut etc. also oil ur hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. Dear , denial won't help. You have gastritis which is an outcome of general anxiety disorder. You are a young boy, take lead and see a psychiatrist or a psychologist. Mindfulness cbt will certainly help you. Ensure you exercise and yoga.

Healthy eating gives kids the energy they need for their busy days.

Here are some great ways to make it easier.

Breakfast is important: it can be up to 12 hrs since their last meal, so kids need to refuel for the day ahead. Give him healthy choices like cereal and reduced fat milk, toast, fresh fruit, eggs on toast, juice and reduced fat yoghurt.

Water works: get kids into the habit of drinking water to keep them hydrated throughout the day.

Snack smart: encourage your kids to take an interest in their health early in life by planning their own healthy snacks-this will help them look for a healthy diet when they get older.

Get cooking: food is not just about good nutrition; it's one of life's great pleasures. Transform your kids into young cooks-even young children can help peel carrots, pod peas, great cheese, put together tacos or design their own healthy pizza toping. If they've helped make it, they'll be more likely to enjoy eating it.

Slow and steady: encourage them to eat slowly. This prevents overeating and helps them recognize when they're full.

Eat at the table: eating snacks and meals sitting down at the table or kitchen bench instead of in front of the tv is good habit for the whole family.

Get a balance: variety and balance are the keep to helping a child enjoy a healthy diet. Aim to eat a variety of foods each day (this depends on the age of the child) including fruit, vegetables breads and cereals, lean meat or fish and reduced fat dairy products.

Tasty exploration: encourage kids to try different food. Exposure to lots of different tastes and flavours adds excitement to meals.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from Backache(back pain): * First correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back.You can use lumber belt for support. * Do regular back strength exercises.Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * Do not sleep on very soft bed ,sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * Do Tadasana and Bhjangasana for back strengthening.If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. Surya namaskar is also best asan in back pain. * Take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin D supplements regularly . *Do not Take any heavy weight or heavy work. * If you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. What is the cure for psoriasis?
psoriasis is manageable, the traditional approach is to start with the mildest treatments topical creams and ultraviolet light therapy (phototherapy) and then progress to stronger ones only if necessary. The goal is to find the most effective way to slow cell turnover with the fewest possible side effects coupled with a dietary therapy specially designed to manage psoriasis. Researchers found several studies linking obesity to an increased risk for psoriatic disease. These studies indicate that a higher body mass index (bmi) is associated with an elevated risk for developing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, as well as increased disease severity. Obesity may provide the nudge that triggers psoriasis in people who are already predisposed to it, researchers also found that in overweight individuals, losing weight may improve the effectiveness of treatments. So if you lose weight, you may be reducing fuel for the fire. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Hi here are 6 ways to gain weight healthily: 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit.

The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion if staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply snowdent paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min. Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. Lift Weights, do free body weight exercises. 2. Eat healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. 5. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. 6. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Hi Kindly suggest d reason and also the necessary measures to b taken in d following case: Very much dispersed, negative weak attitude from inside but pretends to be very bold and positive ,excess or very less appetite and sleep, intense cry for hours and hours for no reasons, needs a strong support system very firmly, Wants to b in dark and alone place, try to hurt self, lack of concentration, negative thoughts, imaginary presentation abt self near others, need badly to b wid sm1 who can take out of all this dark situation. Hi lybrate-user, I suggest you to please take her to a psychologist asap with a guardian. Meanwhile: Try to take her out, for a walk or something in greenery. Try she tells everything to someone who she trust. Speak to her about everything, doesn't matter if she is listening or not, try to talk as positive as you can and also rational according to the situation. Don't give her to much of advice. Try to share jokes with her. Watch comedy movies with her. Don't let her sit alone. Try if she can practice deep breathing. Make her eat healthy i.e. Leafy vegetables, Citrus-Fruits, Walnuts, Green tea etc. No to coffee, No to Alcohol. Take care for any more queries feel free to contact me :)
