Pain will be there for few days, follow doctor instructions and medications strictly, have some patience, if pain or swelling worsens then you need to visit your doctor for a follow up appointment, other wise nothing to worry.

Hello Doctor My friend want to get straightened his teeth without wearing braces for 2-3 yrs. The case is not very complex. He doesn't want to wear metal braces. I got to know some info about Invisalign and accelerated orthodontics treatments. Which one is better for him? Which one gives better results in a short time? Which one is of low cost?

I am experiencing excess saliva and I spit brown saliva after regulating it I spit blood red saliva especially after waking up I have. No prob of sore throat or anything. Can it be a sign of pregnant?

MDS
Dentist, Hyderabad
Brown saliva is due to mixing of blood with saliva. If it is seen after waking up means there is possibility of gum infection. So visit dentist as early as possible.

I am 28 year old. My colleagues dominates me. Even if I am right still they shut my mouth because I am weak in argument. I feel that I am hurting them. They say I have a childish nature. I am going to marry next year. I fear my wife will also dominate me. My confidence level is down. What should I do?

The best way to treat bad breath (halitosis) is to instill patients with good oral hygiene practices. The common methods used include tongue brushing, tongue scraping, and chewing gum. Gentle but effective deep tongue cleaning should be an important daily routine. Other methods to reduce halitosis (bad breath) include -
Gargling right before bedtime with an effective mouthwash
Cleaning the tongue surface twice daily
Eating a healthy breakfast with rough foods helps clean the very back of the tongue
Chewing gum
Flossing is particularly important in removing rotting
Periodic visits to DENTIST

I very often get mouth ulcers. Which remain for like one or 2 weeks by themselves. I have tried so many things, nothing works. I showed it to many doctors, finally one doctor said it's due to anemia. Is it true?

BDS, Certified Implantologist, ABCD Endo/Aesthetic Course
Dentist, Pune
Ya, it's true. If I suffer from regular bouts of ulcer on your tongue or on your mouth, it can be due to deficiency of essential nutrients like iron, folic acid and vitamin b-12. This condition exists when one's body is unable to produce intrinsic factor.

Meri zaban hamesha white rehti hai aur dhabe aate hai gol uspe aur mae koe tobacco cigarette kuch b nahe khata please reply.

Cause of discoloration ? Smoking, coffee, tea, drugs, aging, staining food (wine, blueberry, etc) genetics. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with whitening (bleaching) procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or capping. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.
