Hi, , if ur yogic personality u can enjoy being with ur stones, if u shared largest one, then u have chances to shade with ayurveda way painless, or by hydro therapy with pain, but real consideration is to drop/shade /transform this habit of forming stones in u recurrently.

Hi I am 35 years old male. Having blood in urine from 7-jul-2015 till date but no pain as such. I met a urologist and he asked me for certain tests including blood, urine tests and ct scan. A mass of around 13" 16 mm is found in urine bladder. Am I suffering from cancer, if yes, what stage it may be? is it treatable?

Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), MS - Urology, MBBS
Urologist, Ahmedabad
Dear , yes, I am afraid it is a cancer. Usually it may be well differentiated or anaplastic but can be decided only after excision biopsy as it is small biopsy report will show whether it stage 1 or 2. On an average prognosis is good but you will have to be under observation with urologist for at least 5 years and repeated cystoscopic check ups.

Hi lybrate-user, long standing urine infection can be due to infection of prostate, inadequate treatment, improper antibiotic or other issues. Consult a urologist for this. Fee blood and urine tests and a sonography will be done. You may have to take antibiotics for upto 2 months depending on the reports.

MBBS, DNB (General Surgery), MNAMS (Membership of the National Academy) (General Surgery) , Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery, Fellow of Indian association og gastro intestinal endo surgeons

My brother has a stones each on each kidney another one in left urethra how much costs tto operate all of 3 stones.
Costs can vary from few thousand to over a lakh. Depending on size, exact location of stone, type of hospital you want to afford frm govt hosp to corporate hospitals, range is wide. Very small stnes smaller than 6mm may not even require any surgery.
