. Breastfeeding, suppresses menstruation at least for a while. For some mothers, there may be an absence of menstruation for weeks, months, and even years while still breastfeeding. Some mothers will even need to completely wean before they see their first period. Others, once their babies begin taking supplemental foods or sleeping longer periods at night, will see the first period. Once menstruation returns it may continue to be irregular during lactation. It's not uncommon to have a shorter or longer than normal period while breastfeeding. It's also not abnormal to skip a period or see the first period return and then find that months pass before the next one. When the first period returns depends upon several factors: 1. how frequently the baby is nursing, 2. how often the baby is supplemented with bottles, 3. how long the baby is sleeping at night, 4. whether or not solids have been introduced, and 5. the mother's own individual body chemistry and the way it responds to hormonal influences associated with breastfeeding. 6. Any time the stimulation to the breast is decreased, especially at night, menstruation is likely to return soon after.

Dear Sir, I am 30 years old. Once I just randomly thought to check my blood pressure and I was shocked to see it wasn't normal it was 127/85. Then after 3 weeks I checked again it was 133/90. Can you please tell me what can be the reason? Or do you think I should follow some diet. As I don't want to be on medicine at this early age. I am little worried as its in the family. 120/80 is normal blood pressure but 10 plus or 10 less variation is also a normal. It is not to worry. But for precaution you should not take excess salt in diet, eat less oily food, do not take stress, do not consume alcohol or smoke. Exercise daily and maintain your weight also.

Kindly apply orahelp gum paint twice daily for 15 days. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene. Also notice that you are not constipated, stressed or having lack of sleep as these are few of the reasons for ulcers. Avoid hot and spicy food as this may irritate the ulcers.

Steps to prevent and cure hair greying 1. Constant exposure of hair to heat is one of the major reason for early greying of hair. Heat removes moisture from hair making it dry and rough. If not taken proper care our hair starts becoming weak and white. Some of the precautions that can be taken are as follows- a. Try to remain in shade during peak sun hours. b. Wear a hat, cap or a cover your hair with a scalf to prevent direct contact of hair with sun c. Avoid taking hot water baths. This removes the moisture from hair making hair grey. d. Avoid using blowers at very high temperature, instead lower the temperature and then use to keep hair healthy. 2. Diet is also an important factor for keeping hair black and strong. Lack of vitamins and minerals can lead to greying and weak hair. Lack of vitamin B12 makes hair white while deficiency of mineral zinc leads to hairfall. Hence eat a balance diet with adequate vitamins and minerals to provide complete nourishment to hair. Take a vitamin B12 capsule or a multi vitamin capsule to get rid of grey hair. Eat fruits, vegetables, proteins, and adequate water to keep hair strong and moisturized. Include vitamin A, B, C, E and minerals like zinc, copper, iron and folic acid for maintaining the dark colour of your hair. 3. Chemical hair products can also lead to grey hair in a young age. Avoid using low quality hair products as these products contain chemicals like ammonia, chlorine etc. that can remove the natural darkness from hair and also make it roots weak. Instead use chemical free products which contain natural extracts to maintain the darkness of hair. 4. Chlorine water in swimming pools can damage the quality of hair. Regular contact of hair with such water can decolourise its colour. Wear swimming cap while you enter the pool. Following these precautions will prevent greying of hair. 5. Biotin present in cucumber, oats, almonds can make your grey hair black. Biotin have properties that help to maintain the dark colour of hair. It has the ability to darken white hair and make hair soft. Hence eat biotin rich foods to cure greying of hair. 6. Stress is condition that leads to degradation of our entire body. It damages our skin and hair taking away the moisture and making it look dull. Stress can also make your hair grey. So avoid stress and try to remain happy always. Try yoga, medication or try some exercise to prevent premature greying of hair. 7. Melanin deficiency in hair also leads to hair whitening. As we grow old melanin in hair starts decreasing and hence our hair becomes grey in old age. 8. Every day scalp massages are very important to restore the darkness of hair. The head massage helps to improve blood circulation in the area, which is very important because the hair is fed mainly through this, and this aspect is very important because the first grey hairs appear in temples because the blood flow is reduced. You can do the massages yourself or ask a family member for it.

Then position of pain and bone is different. Either the pain is in your back is near your end of rib cage or reduced space is in between l4-l5 or l5s1 area. Treating Renal Stones Using Home Remedies Suggested By Ayurveda

Renal stone or kidney stone is the most common problem that is found in different people these days. It is mainly a hard mass that accumulates either in one or both the kidneys that can cause pain and another discomfort. Renal stones are classified into two types and these are:

  1. Calcium Stones and
  2. Uric Acid Stones.

Symptoms Of Renal Stone
Many times pain in the lower section of the stomach can be due to many reasons such as acidity, but long term pain can be considered as a symptom of renal stone. This happens when the stone moves from the kidney to the urinary tract or also when the stones grow. Some other symptoms apart from the pain are:

  1. The colour of the urine is turned into red or brown as it contains blood,
  2. The urge of urination increases,
  3. Nausea and Vomiting at times.

Causes Of Renal Stone
The medical term used for the renal stone is renal calculi or urolithiasis or nephrolithiasis. The problem can occur due to a number of reasons and a few among them are:

  1. Increased calcium amount in the body,
  2. Genetic factor,
  3. Disease or infection in the kidney or the urinary,
  4. Consumption of alcohol and also some oxalate food items,
  5. Diseases such as high blood pressure, hypercalciuria or gout,
  6. Inflammatory disease of intestine and stomach,
  7. Side effects of wrong medication.

Home Remedies By Ayurveda For Curing Renal Stone
There are some of the home remedies available that are suggested by the Ayurveda:

  1. Treating Renal Stone With Kidney Beans
    1. Add 4 litres of water to 60 grams of kidney beans.
    2. Now heat the mixture for about 4-5 hours.
    3. Now strain the mixture through a muslin cloth into a container.
    4. Keep the fluid aside to cool down.
    5. After the fluid cools down completely, start drinking one glass of the fluid every 2 hours.
    6. Make sure that the fluid should be consumed within 24 hours.
    7. Do this for a week time.
  2. Treating Renal Stone With Basil Leaves And Honey
    1. Crush about 10-15 basil leaves and make a paste of it.
    2. Take out the juice of about 1 tablespoon of the paste.
    3. Now add one teaspoon honey to the juice and mix them well.
    4. Consume this mixture every day once.
  3. Treating Renal Stone With Pomegranate Seeds And Horse Gram
    1. Add about half litre water to 1 cup horse gram.
    2. Now heat it till the water comes down to about 1/5th and then strain the liquid.
    3. Crush some pomegranate seeds and add about 2 tablespoons to the liquid.
    4. Drink this mixture daily.
  4. Apart from these remedies, drinking apple juice regularly and doing regular exercise also helps in getting rid of renal stone. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda.

Hye. Thankyou for your query. There’s no overnight fix when it comes to healthy weight loss, but you can adjust your lifestyle to promote quick, natural weight loss for the benefit of your health and your appearance. Successful, long-term weight management needs to focus on more than the food you eat and the pounds you lose. It needs to focus on your overall health. Reshape your body and your lifestyle by adopting healthy habits and breaking unhealthy ones. Replace all processed foods in your diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, eggs, legumes, nuts, seeds and seafood. Focus on the variety of whole, unprocessed foods you can eat instead of dwelling on the junk food you eliminated from your diet. Eat smaller portions at every meal and avoid going back for seconds. Take a smaller scoop of rice, half of a piece of chicken instead of a whole piece and one less egg in your morning omelet, for example. Make time for breakfast every morning. Eating breakfast helps prevent overeating and is a habit of people who successfully lose weight. Pack to-go meals instead of eating convenience foods when you’re not home. Store foods like chopped fruits and vegetables or cooked grains, legumes, eggs and meats in your refrigerator so you always have something to grab when you’re in a rush. Buy fresh vegetables and fruits from the grocery store if you forget to bring healthful food from home. When you can’t avoid dining at a restaurant, opt for a salad as a starter, and always ask for the dressing on the side. Clear soups, lean meats, seafood and grain-based dishes like roti, whole grain bread are other good choices. Exercise for 30 to 60 minutes at least three times per week to build muscle and burn more calories. Pilates, strength training, aerobics, swimming, dancing and yoga or a sport like football are ideal choices. If you’re new to exercising, start with brisk walking and jogging. Adopt physically demanding hobbies like bicycling, hiking, jogging, power walking to promote faster weight loss. If you don’t have time for new hobbies, increase your physical activity with things like walking the dog, playing with the kids or jogging instead of driving to a nearby store or taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

Hi lybrate-user Eat with your eyes and your mind Make sure your dinner table has a spread of colours like yellow, green, red, orange, white. Add a lot of different fresh seasonal vegetables, raw salads and herbs. This will not only be pleasing to your palate by providing a burst of flavour but will also give it an aesthetic appeal, so the meal doesn’t look boring and monotonous. While you sit to eat, do not just shove the food in your mouth and gulp it down. The idea is to go slow, and enjoy the entire experience, relish your food as you chew it properly to enjoy every flavour in every bite. Focus on what you are eating the texture, the visual appeal, the aroma of the dish. Eating mindfully will make it an enjoyable experience while assisting in better digestion, make you feel more fuller by avoiding overeating and prevent a lot of stomach distress like gas, bloating or acidity Take small portion Eating a smaller portion of food at a time helps in the breakdown of the food in an effective way so that the entire calories obtained from the food are used up by the body for all the bodily functions. When you eat a large meal, the excess energy which goes unused by the system gets stored as fat and causes weight gain. A good idea would be to use smaller plates so the plate looks fuller and psychologically makes you feel that you have eaten enough while eating from a larger plate makes you pile up your plate with more food which in turn makes you eat more calories. Fill up your stomach only up to 80% We have been raised to eat until we are absolutely full so we don’t feel hungry later. Either that or because traditionally Indian consider it a taboo to leave any food on the plates so we eat off the kids plates because he/she won’t eat anymore, also we have seen our moms finish the leftover paratha or grab an extra spoon rice even if they are not too hungry, just so that they don’t have to throw it away as they are usually the last ones to eat. Not realising how much damage we are doing to our bodies by eating more than what our body needs. However, it is better to stuff ourselves and only eat until we feel adequately full. Yes, you will feel hungry after few hours and that ok. It only means less pressure on your intestines and delaying the ageing process of the cells which can prevent heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Eat small snacks every few hours. Having said that eating till you are 80% full will make you hungry for more, it is a good practice to eat 5-6 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meal pattern of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat a healthy snack like a fresh whole fruit or nuts like almonds, walnuts, unsalted peanuts, pumpkin seeds, low fat curd or unsalted chaas, hard boiled eggs between main meals every 2-3 hours. This will help to keep you burning more calories throughout the day as the digestion process continuous to keep your metabolism up and running. Also, your body will thank you for feeling light and energetic throughout the day because of the regular supply of an array of nutrients and maintaining your blood sugar levels Have a light supper or dinner As they say, Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a commoner and dinner like a popper it is important to start the day with a filling wholesome breakfast to kick start your metabolism and taper down your meals as the sun goes down. Your last meal should happen atleast 3 hours before your bedtime so the body has enough time to digest the meal properly before you go to bed. If you eat a heavy meal too close to bedtime, the body cannot digest it properly leading to indigestion, acid reflux, disturbed sleep making you wake up next morning feeling sluggish and tired. As the day goes the body tends to slow down and to go into a repair and recovery mode to heal the body from the days stress and wear and tear. Also, since we are not physically active in the night time all the excess calories get stored as fat in the body Eat vegetables first Vegetables are full of fibre and when you consume them first, this fibre helps to cover whatever is eaten after and inhibits insulin spikes and the speed at which sugar is transported into the blood. Proteins such as fish, chicken, paneer or sprouts are harder to digest when they are eaten first and everything else eaten after would take time making you feel bloated. Raw vegetables contain a digestive enzyme that helps break down proteins. Eat more fiber Eating more fiber, makes feel fuller, can increase satiety and makes you lose weight. Make sure you eat about 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables, raw or cooked throughout the day Reduce sugar as much as possible To achieve a flatter belly, make sure you have as low as zero grams of sugar. Opt for healthier natural sweetener such as honey, dates, dates syrup, figs but don’t overdo it. Add chopped strawberries or other fruits like apples, pear to your morning oatmeal to satisfy the sweet tooth. I am 22 years old, now a days i'm facing ankle pain, when i'm take a walk atlest for 40 to 50 step. Please help me.
Our suggestion would be to do hot water fermentation along with Cold(ice) therapy. Pain in the ankle is due to constant pressue which falls during standing and walking activities, as ankle is such a stong joint and it generaly leads to ankle dislocation in majority of the cases. After applying Ice, ankle brace to restrict the joint movement thereby it will make you to feel comfortable and also it will enhace quik healing. To divert the weight fallling on the injured ankle you can improve the blood circulation to the particular injured area by doing hot water fermentation and I also suggest you to wear MCR chappals to divert the weight falling on the painful ankle.
