Preventive Health Check-up - Why Should You Go For It?

Preventive Health Check-up - Why Should You Go For It?

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” however, while one may commend you on an excellent diet schedule, keeping the doctor away might not always seem to be too favourable an option, especially in recent times when unforeseen circumstances and complications pertaining to lifestyle irregularities always keep creeping up.

While proper diet and regular workouts may keep you remarkably fit, genetic constraints might easily overrule such efforts to maintaining good health. Frequent checkups are especially recommended for those who share a family history of a number of diseases, infections, any type of cancer, hypertension, or sleep disorders, since problems might grow quietly and steadily when left unchecked for a longer span of time.

Most people usually visit their doctor or physician when they face an emergency. This should not be the scenario, as is advised by most health experts. It has been widely accepted that the average visit to the clinic must be at the least, four times a year. However, uniformity isn’t to be maintained by everyone in this regard. Infants see a doctor for at least eight times a year while six to eight year olds visit their physician twice a year.

It is important to have a number of crucial matters looked into and tested periodically in order to keep track of any unfavourable developments:

  1. Dental check-up every six months
  2. Annual pap smears
  3. Semi-annual HIV tests
  4. Eye examinations once every two years, once a year for those patients with current vision problems
  5. Biennial skin cancer screening
  6. Full physical examination once a year
  7. Breast examination once a month
  8. Pelvic examination every few months
  9. Thyroid tests every five years
  10. Check blood pressure level every month

It is imperative to understand that not one particular check-up schedule is capable of fitting in the necessities of all individuals. This makes it all the more clear that, while the requirement of physical attention isn’t the same for everyone, once a year physical check-up is a must for any individual.

Dear doctor. This is for my fiance. He is 25 years old. 6 ft ,84 kgs . He recently faced weight loss and frequent urine. So we went for a master check. There we found that his glucose level is high. Fast blood level was 340 and after food was 469. We are about to meet a doctor. He already started his diet and exercise. My question is will he able to be normal back? I mean he is following diet now. Is it possible to bring tat glucose level normal? I mean heard that once sugar comes we have no other go than taking medication regularly. Is that possible to bring back him normal. He is physically mentally so fed up because of this in early stage. please doctor. please clear my doubt. How To Deal With Itchy Penis During Scabies Attack?

How To Deal With Itchy Penis During Scabies Attack?

Itchy Penis: When Scabies Attack

The goal of first rate penis health is to ensure the penis is kept in prime condition not just for sexual function but to avoid mundane day-to-day problems. Since sometimes a "minor" problem - like an itchy penis - can be caused by something of more concern, it's always a good idea to pay attention to things like a sore or itchy penis to see what may be causing the issue. In the case of itchiness, one cause to be considered is scabies.

A familiar name

Scabies is one of those terms that many men know but they have only some vague knowledge on what it is. So just what are scabies?

Sarcoptes scabiei is the medical name for scabies, and it refers to little bitty parasites. Scabies generally travel in groups, and when a troupe of them gets on a person's skin - say, on or near the penis - they often mate. The male then conveniently dies and isn't a problem anymore. The female, on the other hand, decides that this penis would be a grand spot to raise her children. She digs down underneath the skin and deposits her eggs there. And we're talking a lot of eggs - as many as three a day for up to two months, after which she dies.

But before she dies, those eggs are hatching. Scabies go from egg to adult in less than two weeks, so while that first female is laying eggs, her progeny are also getting busy and laying eggs. It's easy to see that this can lead to a condition where a guy ends up with a ton of scabies on his penis - and elsewhere on his body, as they can spread quite easily.

Itchy penis

Scabies create a rash that can really, really itch. In some ways this is a good thing, as it alerts a man to the presence of these tiny mites. The problem is that it may take a month or more for the itchy penis rash to develop, by which time dozens of mites may be all over the body.

Scabies can be caught by contact with an infected object (such as a towel or bedclothes), but most often they are spread via skin-to-skin contact. That means that they can quite easily be spread during sex, so a man who has scabies should refrain from partner-based sex until he is sure he has been cleansed of all signs of scabies.

Treatment

So how does a guy get rid of scabies? First he needs to visit a doctor to confirm that his problem is indeed due to scabies. Once diagnosed, the doctor will likely prescribe a treatment using a pesticide called a scabicide, which is formulated to attack and kill scabies. It is a cream applied to the entire body; in some cases, it needs to stay on for up to 10 hours on the first day of application. Some other varieties of treatment have different time intervals.

In addition, the home will need to be cleaned as thoroughly as possible, both in terms of laundry and household items and objects, including carpeting.

Scabies is a nasty beast when it comes to a persistently itchy penis and the rash that develops. Regular use of a first rate penis health crème (health professionals recommend Man1 Man Oil, which is clinically proven mild and safe for skin) can help soothe the itchiness by keeping the skin properly moisturized. Use a crème with Shea butter, which heals and rejuvenates damaged skin, and with vitamins D and E. Vitamin D is called the miracle vitamin for its ability to battle disease and support healthy cellular function. Vitamin E helps to lock in moisture, soothing rashy, scarred penis skin.

Hi lybrate-user I think it's better to use nimbamruthadi kera for body massage. Also strictly not use hard soaps at all. Use ayurvedic soaps lyk Gly-seb for retaining moisture. Eat plenty of veggies and seasonal fruits. Drink plenty of water. Avoid outside foods. Regards

I am 15 years old, I have too many pimples on my face, I just applied a cream named as Deriva CMS.
These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

She is suffering from severe dysmenorrhoea, which is not relieved by medications. You should get her ultrasound done asap and get examined by gynecologist. She may be suffering from either fibroid or endometriosis or ovarian cyst or even fibroids, which may need surgery for treatment. Ultrasound can diagnose all these conditions.

Sir. I am a 32 years old male. I have been suffering from white coat hypertension what should I do?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Sir. I am a 32 years old male. I have been suffering from white coat hypertension what should I do?
Hello, stress is one of the major causes of any small or big problem including white coat hypertension! there are few yoga poses which helps in calming your mind and relieves stress, but first learn these under a qualified yoga-teacher as many poses are prohibited in certain diseases or medical conditions! exercises: practice shavasana or corpse pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Begin focusing each body part and relaxing it, then moving on. Keep the mind focused on relaxation, the breath should be normal. Relax the whole body. (the mind and body are deeply connected. If the mind is occupied by thoughts and worries then the shavasana will be unsuccessful. Therefore one has to acquire the stability of the mind along with the stability of the body.) anuloma involves inhaling through both nostrils together and exhaling each breath alternately between the left and right nostrils. The thumb of the right hand is used to manipulate the right nostril, while the pinky and ring finger are used to control the left nostril. There are many other poses of yoga like balasan, setu bandha sarvangasan, uttanasan, garudasan, savasana, triconasana, viprita karani, marjaryasana, dhyana, bhujangasana, anulom-vilum, pranayam, etc. Another stress-buster can be getting involved in any of your hobbies (may be a childhood hobby which you used to enjoy a lot!) - dancing, singing, painting, listening to soothing music, playing musical instruments, etc. (believe me, you would really enjoy doing this alone as well or may be with your friends, kids). Medication: take homoeopathic medication - schwabe's bacopa monierri 1x/ thrice daily and kali phos. 6x/ once at night - take them for 4 weeks.

I have oral submucos fibrosis in my mouth.
Is it curable? How to cure it?
I completely stopped eating arena nuts.
OSMF is curable. Depending upon severity of OSMF (HOW MUCH MOUTH OPENING IS PRESENT) treatments varies. Since you have already quit the habit, whatever treatment is required in your case will be very very effective. The most basic treatment is to take antioxidants like lycopene, jaw exercises like keeping wooden spoon bundle in mouth at maximum jaw opening for two times daily for 10 to 15 minutes, increasing one spoon daily until required jaw opening achieved. The most advanced treatment is undergoing LASER surgery for cheek fibers which has excellent outcome in ultra short duration compared to conservative approach. For more details you can personally contact me. THANK YOU.

Do not panic and take her to the referred hospital or if you know any doctor personally (cancer specialist). Tata cancer hospital or KEM in Mumbai are some of the hospitals where the experts are available and the fees are minimum. Once the treatment is started she will feel the relief. One can also take homeopathy along with that so as to bring faster healing.
