Hello, Please rule out pregnancy first and then if negative then the cause is stress mostly and a single episode alone doesn't warrant for treatment and evaluation.

You don't have any knee, back or stomach issues, it is due to weakness. Get your hb test done. Do regular slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced diet. Avoid garlic and red chilly, non veg and eggs. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Follow these to get painless periods.

This early vaginal bleeding may happen sometimes for various reasons, like life style change, weight gain or weight loss or hormonal imbalance, and gets back to normal again. It may be caused by emergency contraceptive pills or by hormonal contraceptive pills also. Moreover stress and anxiety may release stress hormones and alter her flow. If the bleeding continues, she may have consultation with a doctor for any cervical bleeding or other uterine bleeding.

In pcod usually ovulation does not occur so there is no question you getting secretary phase in this cycle. As you did not had menses for 2 months with pcod, you can wait for another month for spontaneous menses. And weight reducion is the only treatment which can normalise your ovulation and menses.

My periods is not come to every month & it's came only for two days, so please give me solution. What's the reason.

My periods is not come to every month & it's came only for two days, so please give me solution. What's the reason.
Periods lasting from 2-7 days is considered as normal menses. Less flow for this short duration does not warrant any tests or treatment. If they come on time even with little irregularity, more than or equal to 2 days and > or equal to 1 pad in a day then menses are normal. Sometimes hormonal changes or stress can reduce the flow of menses but it will get cured automatically. But if it is happening regularly, then definitely you need to be investigated with sonography and blood tests: fsh, lh, tsh, and prolactin to find out the exact cause. You may be suffering from pcod or thyroid problem.

We are planning to postpone our pregnancy. So for that what we have to do ?We want a natural process.

DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology)

The day on which periods start is considered as Day 1 of the cycle. If periods are regular, with bleeding happening every 28 to 32 days, calender method of contraception can be used. According to this method, Days 1-7 of a woman's menstrual cycle are considered infertile, Days 8-19 are considered fertile; considered unsafe for unprotected intercourse and Day 20 through the end of the cycle are considered infertile.

Expiry date definitely puts a question mark on the efficacy. There is not much to be done at present. It is advisable to wait for the next period and in case there is a delay, then to take medical advice. Safety from conception can be practised by following the safe and dangerous period. Please ask her to contact me for advice.

Hi, I just want to ask one question which is, doing sex 3 to 4 times a day is good for our health or not. Thanks.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology

It is in-fact the most healthy activity for both man and woman. It is the only activity where every part of woman’s brain is activate. Brain activity during a female orgasm has been described as secondary to an epileptic seizure as all regions of brains is activated, even unrelated brain regions come to life. It does not cause any problem and you can continue having same frequency of sex.

Reasons Why One Must Consider Getting Laser Surgery Done

MBBS, MD - Dermatology
Dermatologist, Delhi
Reasons Why One Must Consider Getting Laser Surgery Done

The word surgery has always been associated with the use of scalpel. However, a new form of surgery called laser surgery has developed, which instead of using the orthodox method uses laser to cure the infirmity. In this form of surgery, laser tuned to specific wavelengths, is emitted on the concerned area with the purpose of vaporizing the tissues that have high water content for the purpose of rectification. It is commonly used in:

  1. Dermatology and plastic surgery
  2. Eye Surgery
  3. Endovascular surgery
  4. Foot and ankle surgery
  5. Oral and Dental Surgery

Though the technique involves risks, it has over the years gained immense popularity due to multiple reasons. Few among them are:

  1. Provides immediate results: This is one of the main reasons why laser surgery is preferred to conventional methods. Commonly used in the eye, laser surgeries result in significant improvement in vision, allowing the concerned person to do away with the dependence on spectacles.
  2. Precision involved: Using the laser instead of the scalpel allows the method to be more precise and effective than the traditional method. Minimum damage is done to the tissue as there are smaller cuts involved.
  3. Less time: Due to the technique used, the time involved in laser surgeries is reasonably less, providing more time for recuperation than what is generally allowed in the traditional methods.
  4. Provides more career options and opportunities: Laser surgery, owing to its technique, offers corrective measures which the traditional method does not. This aspect of the surgery allows the patients to consider and explore other professions which were previously not possible. Professions like air force and the army have stringent rules regarding vision of the candidates. Laser surgery which provides an individual the freedom to operate without glasses and contact lenses also allows him or her to consider such professions.
