I am 23 years old I have skin problems much like fungal infections some creams are used but less relief what can I do.

MD - Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Hello, Wear loose cotton underclothes. Keep the private parts dry. Change underclothes regularly. It may be due to a fungal infection which thrives in humid, wet environments. Apply K-Z cream or D-K gel twice a day on itchy areas for 6 weeks. If no satisfactory improvement, please see a local dermatologist for further assessment.

According to acupressure baldness is always due to deficiency in kidney essence, because hairs are related with kidneys as it is an extension of bones. So get the treatment of kidney essence from well qualified acupressure therapist and your hair will grow automatically.

I have black spots as well as pimples on my face. I used scar removal cream for 4 months but did not see any changes. What should I do?

CCP, MBA, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

If you suffer from acne, pimples, blackheads & dark spots it means that the pitta dosha (heat in body) is increased. For that you need proper ayurvedic medicine along with following diet & lifestyle changes. 1) avoid eating salty, spicy & sour foods 2) have milk & ghee twice daily 3) green tea has antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds that can help fight acne. To get its effects, use a cooled cup of green tea as a face wash or lay the bag over the affected area. 4) apply a teaspoon of honey to affected areas, or make a mask by mixing 1/2 cup of honey with 1 cup of plain oatmeal and leaving it on for 30 minutes. If you need ayurvedic medicines for guaranteed cure, so that pimples do not occur again & again, then please send image.

Hello doctor am 25 years old guy I have dark circles under the eyes. I sleep 7 hours a day but the dark circles does not gone. What is the best homeopathic medicine for this dark circle condition?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Homoeopathic treatment UNDER EYE CREAM ( BAKSON) Apply at night under the eye in circular fashion GLOWCARE DROPS ( LORDS) 20 drops in 20 ml freh water 3 times daily Take a good Iron rich diet likeApple,Pomegranate,Spinach nd all other green vegetables 2 glass milk daily 6-8 glass extra water daily Try to have a sound sleep HOME REMEDIES Slice up a papaya. Papaya fruit contains the enzyme papain. Papain helps exfoliate the skin, making way for new skin cells to emerge. Papaya also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, so it's a dark spot fading superstar. Papain is most concentrated while the papaya is still green, but you can use riper fruit as well. Peel and remove the seeds from a papaya, and try one of the following treatments: 1. Slice a piece off of the papaya, and lay or hold it on the dark spots that you want to get rid of. Hold it there for 20-30 minutes. Repeat twice a day for best results. 2.Make a papaya facial mask. Cut the papaya into chunks, then use a blender or food processor to blend the fruit into a smooth paste. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse well.

PSORIASIS - A SKIN DISEASE
***************************************
Psoriasis, a complex immune–mediated disease

Psoriasis is a complex immune–mediated disease and is a common disorder that affects men and women equally. The disease can manifest at any age; however, the peak times for disease onset are young adulthood (ages 20 to 30 years) and late middle age (ages 50 to 69 years).

There are several clinical subtypes of psoriasis. The most common presentation of psoriasis is plaque psoriasis, which presents as sharply defined erythematous plaques with overlying silvery scales. The most commonly affected areas include scalp, extensor surface of elbows, knees and back.

Psoriasis may also affect the joints. Psoriatic arthritis occurs in about 30 percent of patients with psoriasis, and precedes the skin manifestations in about 15 percent of patients.

In most patients, a diagnosis of psoriasis can be made by history and physical examination. But, sometimes, a skin biopsy is needed to rule out other conditions.

Numerous topical and systemic therapies are available for the treatment of psoriasis. The treatment approach for the individual patient depends on the severity of the disease, relevant comorbidities, patient preference (including cost and convenience), efficacy and evaluation of individual patient response.

Hello lybrate-user, as oyu are suffering from psoriasis since last 3 years, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. Psoriasis is a manageable disease and can be managed with ease and effectively using ayurveda. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients.
