We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning, root canal treatment & capping. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.

I am 18 years old and a girl. I have been having fever for the last 3 days. 100c and sore throat and a little bit of flu. And also i've been having pain in my gums. According to my mother its wisdom tooth pain and fever. I took 2 panadol extra 4 times to lower my temperature. I kind of scratched my own gums with my teeth. It used to irritate but now it pains. My jaw is a little stiff too and its irritating and making me want to scratch it again which now hurts. What's happening?

MDS
Dentist, Kota
Your mother is correct. Infection around erupting third molar (wisdom tooth) will cause fever and enlargement of tonsils or throat infection. If the tooth is erupting in proper direction then medication will help otherwise prepare yourself for the extraction of the wisdom tooth. Show it to your dentist.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedures. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

I am 18 years old sir .My 2 teeth (mole) have removed due to cavity, is it any problems of medicine test? And there is no any other problem in my body.

BDS
Dentist, Ahmedabad
Its surprising that at this age you had undergo removal of teeth. Ideally what we do with tooth having cavity is we restore the tooth with dental cement if the cavity is nit deep. If the cavity is too deep then also we can save the tooth by root canal treatment followed by crown (cap) when tooth is having deep cavity and have lost more than 80-90 % tooth structure along with poor gingival support then only we remove the teeth or else we can save it. And having cavity is not a scary thing it happens only due to improper brushing technique, poor oral hygine. If you undergo scaling (every 6 months) and maintain a good oral hygine then risk of developing cavities will be much more reduced.
