Have you consulted a surgeon? plenty of liquids. High fiber diet, warm sitz baths, pain relieving jelly, anal sphincter relaxing ointments, stool softener, analgesic, use of anal dilator. Or finally surgery is required. Consult a surgeon immediately.

Sir I am having mild piles, ie, fissures and tag like thing. Would you please advise on medicines, especially food style etc.

M.S.
General Surgeon, Jaipur
Drink plenty of water. Consume more of fibre and less fast food. Timely meals. Mild workout. Milk. Warm sitz bath. Mild short term laxative. Local anaesthetic gel. Will take care of your fissure. Tag is harmless but can be removed only by surgery.

If you can prevent constipation and hard stool. Drink plenty of fluids. High fiber diet. Stay away from fast food. You probably will stay away from fissure.

Get proper dressing after debridement by a surgeon. Get a swab cs, blood sugar, cbc. If wound area is large your surgeon may plan skin graft protein like egg, sprouts, vit c, multivitamins may speed up recovery but first consult a general or plastic surgeon.

If symptomatic. Go for surgery. Laparoscopic would be a good option for both surgeries. The mentioned medicines will not be effective in your case.

I have developed an infected cyst (as defined by the doctor) on my head. I just wanted to know that will it require a minor surgery without aneasthesia or a major surgery under regular aneasthesia?

M.S.
General Surgeon, Jaipur
For infected cyst. General anaesthesia will be better. But if the cyst is small. You may think for local anaesthesia. Let your surgeon decide it.

Increase in size of prostate is a common problem in males with increasing age and as it is present at outlet of urinary bladder it obstructs passage of urine. Do not ignore. Get a usg done. And psa levels. Get examined by a surgeon or urologist who can advise medicine.

I was diagnosed with anal fissure 2 years back and now all of a sudden I am getting pain on right side of anus and buttocks. Once blood was noticed during passing of stool.

M.S.
General Surgeon, Jaipur
The main cause of anal fissure is constipation with passage of hard stools. You need a lot of liquids and fibres in your diet along with stool softeners to prevent it. You need to consult your surgeon and get a digital examination & proctoscopy to exactly identify your problem. Meanwhile you can try sitting in a tub of warm water for 15 min twice a day. Medicine can be prescribed only after examination.
