A women 65 years age suffering a giddiness and left arm pain suggest remedies plz.
Get your ECG done first to rule out any cardiac condition like ischaemic heart disease. Many times anginal pain can be referred to left arm. Considering your age and associated giddiness get ECG done as early as possible and consult.

Hello lybrate-user, knee joint pain at 50 is common but treatment is also there. You morther is suffering from osteoarthritis. Well you can't have painkillers all the time n beside it will damage the kidney too. Homoeopathic medicine are beneficial in it. It is time taken process but can be cured. Consult accordingly. Have rhus tox 1m once in 15 days.

Hi, Around one year ago I started to experience a slight pain in my shoulders. It would be mildly painful to make some moves, especially when I had to lift some weight. For example, doing shoulder elevations holding some weight, of internally rotating my shoulder. One day, after my triceps workout, the pain increased severely. It would be painful to lift my arms even without any weights. Also, my shoulders would crack and pop when doing internal rotation and elevations. The doctor (shoulder and elbow surgeon) ordered an ultrasound, that showed a slight subacromial bursitis in both shoulders. He said that that was not really significant, since that small swelling of my bursas could not explain my symptoms. However, he sent my to physical therapy, that after 20 sessions showed no result. Then, I got a corticoid injection on both shoulders, which reduced pain considerably but not completely. Then, the doctor ordered a MRI, which again showed an incipient bursitis on both shoulders. I did more physical therapy and I got another cortisone injection on each shoulder, but I did not notice any advancements since the first two injections. Some months later, my elbows started to hurt. It would be very painful to push something or even to pull the car belt downwards. Also, it would hurt to touch the very tip of my elbows. I went to the doctor again, and he ordered an ultrasound and a MRI for my elbows. Also, he ordered a MRI using a contrast agent for my shoulders. To my surprise, neither the ultrasound nor the MRI showed no injuries in my elbows, and, the MRI with contrast agent, showed no injuries in my shoulders. Not even the slight bursitis was present- He also ordered some blood tests, like PCR, rheumatoid factor, CRP, and other tests whose name I do not remember in the moment, that were supposed to detect any Autoimmune disease. However, all of them had a negative result. So now, I still feel the same pain in my shoulders when I try to lift some weight. And the cracking and popping are still there. The pain in my elbows has reduced a little but I still experience it if I try ti push something heavy or if I touch the tip of my elbow. According to the doctor, it looks like a tricep tendinitis. (but that is not the case). Are there any other tests? What could it be? Thanks a lot.

Shoulder pain & armIt is called as peri arthritis shoulder and for that you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to have less improvement which might make you to feel more pain the arm. And also cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder neck and arm Elbow Pain Apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. And you can wear elbow brace which would help you to keep your elbow warm and will give you protection.

I am 22 years old female and have pain in back since 2 months. Please tell me some solution.
First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

Exercises in Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis is a heterogeneous disease, and there is recognition that treatments will vary among individuals. Early consultation with a rheumatologist is advised to confirm the diagnosis and to outline a treatment plan with the patient. Factors that will influence the therapeutic options include the disease’s duration, prognosis, severity, and activity. The simplified goals of therapy, however, remain the same among all patients.

These goals include:
• Education of the patient

• Relief of pain

• Preservation and restoration of function

• Modification of disease progression and damage

With the acquired understanding of the early onset of damage and the ultimate impact on the debility anddisability of the rheumatoid arthritis patient, the algorithmsof treatment have changed focus to a moreaggressive and early approach. The concept of treating to a target of remission or low disease activity state isnow widely accepted.

I have acute left knee pain from last 15 years. Xrays normal. No surgery advised. Shown to many orthos. Please advise.
