There is a great amount of throbbing in head since last morning, medicine does not show and concerdiable changes in same however after taking sound sleep it is seeming to fade.

Reduce your stress and avoid gadgets at bedtime and go to bed early create a atmosphere for sleep also avoid coffee at night and do meditation and yoga.

Hi, I am having sleep disturbance all the night head ache in morning. Can you tell me solution.

1.Have a glass of whole milk (without the cream removed) with green cardamom powder before going to bed. 2.Have 1 teaspoon of licorice root powder with a glass of milk on an empty stomach in the morning. 3.Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 4.Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 5. Take 2 tab stresswin at night with milk for 5 days ONLY. 6. Take light meals at night and drink 10-15 glasses of water daily. 7.Stop using gadgets 1 hr before sleep.switch off lights at 11:00 pm. 8. Sleep in total dark room. 9.Add some fresh rose petals in a cup of boiling water. Keep it aside till it is lukewarm. Add ½ teaspoonful of sugar to it and have this twice a day. This is a good drink to uplift mood. 10.Do yoga daily 30 min n shavasana daily 5 min before sleep.... Do deep breathing for 2-3 min after every 1 hr....

Back pain can result from bad posture, a sudden jerky movement, a lumpy mattress or poor lifting techniques. It can also be caused by injury in a work place, by a sports accident or by muscular spasms. It often occurs during pregnancy or, because of decreased flexibility, as people get older. There are also many diseases and pathological conditions that can lead to back pain. These include abdominal or pelvic disease, anxiety, arthritis, cervical or lumbar spondylosis, dermatological problems, kidney disease, rheumatic conditions, tumours and scoliosis. Our modern, sedentary lifestyles have a profound effect on the development of back pain; indeed one of the most effective ways of preventing it is simply to stay active. An average adult in the India spends at least two hours a day in front of a computer screen or television set, and back problems can be triggered if they don’t sit properly. In an age of mobile phones and computer games, such troubles are increasingly inflicting children of school age as well. Top tips for back care: For back pain, better to see your Doctor sooner than later. Take regular exercise – your Doctor can say what’s right for you. Hours in one position can cause problems – avoid computer ‘hump’. During repetitive tasks, vary your rhythm and take frequent breaks. Adjust car seats and on long journeys, take regular breaks to stretch. Pace yourself with heavy work such as gardening – don’t risk a disc! Watch children’s posture – they shouldn’t carry bags on one shoulder or spend too long at a computer without breaks. Avoid strain when lifting, particularly small children and shopping. Your bed could be part of the problem. Seek Doctor advice on choosing a new one. Take a hot bath or shower, soaking in a hot tub, or using a heating pad, hot water bottle, or heat wrap that provides continuous, low-level heat are all ways to bring healing warmth to your lower back.

I am suffering from high fever in last 2 days. And I have also headache. Can you suggest me treatment.

* Take full rest & do not do any work at all. *Check your temperature twice a day. If the temperature is 100°F then take a tablet of Crocin (Paracetamol). *Do not take any antibiotic without consulting Physician. * Take 5 leaves of Tulsi and small piece of ginger. Crush them & boil in a glass of waterfor 2-3 minutes. Drink it twice a day to treat the fever. * If the fever do not lower down after taking crocin, then put the cloth/ bandage soaked in tap water and put on forehead and change it after 2-3 minutes. Do that until the temprature lower down. Do not use ice cold water for this. *Eat only light and easy digested food only. Avoid fried foods, meat, eggs, cheese. *If the fever do not lower down even after 3 days, then go to nearest hospital and test the blood for Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue and viral fever only under the guidance of doctor. Avoid from sudden change in temperature. Do not stay in Air condition, wear full sleeve clothes and cover your body on rest.

Great to know you are such a enthusiatic & good athlete. If you have shooting pain from your back going to your legs it could be spine related issue leading to nerve compression. You may need specific medications and interventions for it. In addition to good physical therapy in form of spine strengthening exercises. Consult a pain specialist or spine surgeon. Its better to go for treatment at early stage especially since your an athlete.

Hand exercise dear you can do it easly…………1, Pinch Strengthener This exercise helps strengthen the muscles of your fingers and thumb. It can help you turn keys, open food packages, and use the gas pump more easily. •Pinch a soft foam ball or some putty between the tips of your fingers and your thumb. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds. •Repeat 10 to 15 times on both hands. Do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Don't do this exercise if your thumb joint is damage Finger Lift Use this exercise to help increase the range of motion and flexibility in your fingers. •Place your hand flat, palm down, on a table or other surface. •Gently lift one finger at a time off of the table and then lower it. •You can also lift all your fingers and thumb at once, and then lower. •Repeat eight to 12 times on each han Thumb Extension Strengthening the muscles of your thumbs can help you grab and lift heavy things like cans and bottles. •Put your hand flat on a table. Wrap a rubber band around your hand at the base of your finger joints. •Gently move your thumb away from your fingers as far as you can. •Hold for 30 to 60 seconds and release. •Repeat 10 to 15 times with both hands. You can do this exercise two to three times a week, but rest your hands for 48 hours in between sessions. Thumb Touch This exercise helps increase the range of motion in your thumbs, which helps with activities like picking up your toothbrush, fork and spoon, and pens when you write. •Hold your hand out in front of you, with your wrist straight. •Gently touch your thumb to each of your four fingertips, one at a time, making the shape of an" O. •Hold each stretch for 30 to 60 seconds. Dear lybrateuser,? - Your problem appears due to acidity & anxiety - avoid spicy, fried & junk food - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals - take syrup Gelusil, 2 teaspoonful half an hour after every meal three times a day - have a well balanced diet, have 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration & digestion.

First and foremost, I would advise you to consult an ent specialist in person. Your symptoms are suggestive of mandibular joint issues/ arthritis issues on the left side of your face as you describe. Your consulting physician, nevertheless, can examine you clinically and confirm the diagnosis. He/ she may require you to undergo a few diagnostics including imaging/ blood tests as appropriate. In the mean time, you need to take care not to take anything hard so that you do not strain your left side of the jaw. Also, avoid taking cold & very hot foods for the time being. Also, avoid direct blasts of cold air to your face especially. Warm saline gargling, 2 times daily is advisable. You may also get relief by applying mild heat (as tolerable), can use either a hot water bag or a heat pad as convenient. Keep your diet and lifestyle streamlined, with due room for relaxation/ de-stressing. Hope this helps.

Hi, im worried about my 4 years old son as he goes restless in night while sleeping, kicks all night like its pain or so. After pressing legs he sleeps but fr a short while. Advise me some medicines, supplements, exercise, routine, foods etc to get rid of his problem.

SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Dear lybrateuser, -Some pain may occur after a bypass surgery, if you are doing some exercise involving the shoulder & left arm then take a break for sometime for it or see the position when you are sleeping if weight is there on it or it is in a strained position then also it can pain -take a mild analgesic & apply a analgesic gel 3-4 times in a day -if not much relief then get x-ray shoulder done & consult doctor.
