Dear grade 1 diastolic dysfunction in echo is a very common finding in otherwise healthy individuals. If you do not have breathlessness, this can be ignored. More important is to control all other risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, diet, exercise etc. Tightness in chest, if on exertion, can be a symptom of heart blockage and these test, that you have done do not rule it out. You need to do stress test for that.

Get yourself checked by doing the right tests .do not do testing at any hospital or diagnostic centre because their packages are what they want to sell and the tests are incomplete and it is not what you need to get a whole picture. Chest pain can arise from the Heart, Gut, Muscle, Joint, Bone, Lungs ,Mineral, Vitamin deficiency's ,Stress and many more 1) Detailed history including dietary & lifestyle habits needed in addition to medical, occupational history 2) Comprehensive lab testing needed .Do tests for inflammation, mineral and Vitamin deficiency and doing tests related to the heart alone is completely wrong and will not solve your health issue. The Drs do not address the whole patient .That is why your results are normal but you are not normal-still having symptoms. 3) Get detailed dietary and lifestyle habits advice based on the basis of detailed history and lab testing only. If Your cardiac test results are all normal but still you have pain it indicates your Dr. Has not addressed the root cause. He has done incomplete lab testing and has not given you the right lifestyle and dietary advice because your Dr. Is interested only in medication which will not cure any lifestyle disease. Send feedback with your name and contact number& take a consult for detailed history taking, doing the right tests & getting the right dietary and lifestyle advice. Do not blindly believe your doctors .They may have vested interests and get kickbacks from all possible sources and never educate patients which will cure the disease. All diseases begin in the gut and no health issue can be fixed without fixing your diet and lifestyle. If you fix these 2 things you mostly may not need medicines at all.

I have undergone bye pass surgery 19 years back. In my recent periodical check up, tmt showed negative report. (*previous tests positive). I think is because of treafmill exercise and pransysmam and dhyanam. I would like to know, how long tm exercise is to be done. And shall I stop it when max hr is reached. 141 (90% of 154), my age being 66 years. I used to walk around 400 mts per week (35-40 kms per week). Any more suggestions please.

Too much cholesterol in the blood can lead to cardiovascular disease. What you eat has a direct impact on your cholesterol level. In fact, a diet rich in fiber and other cholesterol-lowering foods may help lower cholesterol as much as statin medication for some people. Working with a registered dietitian and doctor is the key to develop and maintain a successful health program to manage it. I will inform you on how to make diet, lifestyle changes, make you understand instructions for taking medication because it won't work if you don't take it as directed. Consult privately for a holistic dietary therapy to solve your problems.
