Thanks for the query. With TSh 12.41 mU/L it is clear that you have hypothyroidism. This needs to be treated with regular intake of specified dosage of Levothyroxine. Then TSH needs to be checked after 6 to 8 weeks to see if the dose being taken is adequate enough or there is any change needed. For being free from all the synptoms of hypothyroidism TSH needs to be maintained between 3 to 4 mU/L. There is no special diet required. You have to avoid soy beans and soy containing foods. Plus consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruit. Plus use whole grain flour for roti and chapatis. Avoid bakery items and foods made from maida. Thanks.

Hi, I my age is 18, I want to know how much of bitter gourd juice is safe for my health.
It is an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, and B3, C, magnesium, folate, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, and has high dietary fibre. ... Even drinking raw karela juice is full of advantages as it contains essential vitamins as well as antioxidants that all of us need.

Amla powder along with some other ingredients is used by people with diabetes. Amla basically gives a good deal of vit c. But realy no idea as to what role it has in treatment of diabetes. Most often these herbal remedies are used as supportive treatments along with proper anti diabetes drugs. Unless proper anti diabetes drug is taken blood sugar levels will not come down.

eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines which I won't recommend. They will not work in isolation. You have to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.
