Sir/ma'am I have serious problem of dark circles n I tried many types of medicine will you help me to cure it!
Homoeopathic treatment UNDER EYE CREAM ( BAKSON) Apply at night under the eye in circular fashion GLOWCARE DROPS ( LORDS) 20 drops in 20 ml freh water 3 times daily Take a good Iron rich diet likeApple,Pomegranate,Spinach nd all other green vegetables 2 glass milk daily 6-8 glass extra water daily Try to have a sound sleep HOME REMEDIES Slice up a papaya. Papaya fruit contains the enzyme papain. Papain helps exfoliate the skin, making way for new skin cells to emerge. Papaya also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E, so it's a dark spot fading superstar. Papain is most concentrated while the papaya is still green, but you can use riper fruit as well. Peel and remove the seeds from a papaya, and try one of the following treatments: 1. Slice a piece off of the papaya, and lay or hold it on the dark spots that you want to get rid of. Hold it there for 20-30 minutes. Repeat twice a day for best results. 2.Make a papaya facial mask. Cut the papaya into chunks, then use a blender or food processor to blend the fruit into a smooth paste. Apply the mask to your face and neck. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then rinse well.

I am having a oily skin please tell me remedy about how should I take care so that my skin looks fresh whole day.
You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Use home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity.

It may be due to pigmentation. You have to keep patience. Gradually with consistent in below mentioned tips your forehead will become lighter. 1. Cleans your face with good quality of cleanser daily two times. 2. After cleaning it wash your face and apply toner of good quality. It is help to remove excess dirt which remain during cleansing and also cleans pores. 3. Apply good quality of moisturizer 4. Scrub your face at least two time in week for exfoliating dead skin cells. 5. Apply mud pack (you can made it home by multani mati) once in week. Follow above tips for 3 months. Stop worrying, consume seasonal fruits regularly. 1- arjun chal powder 3-5 gm mixed in honey and the paste is to be applied on dark circles daily at night, if possible in morning also. 2- take triphala churna 6-7 gm (one and half tea spoon) at bedtime in night with warm water. 3- sarivadyasava or sarivarishta 20ml with water twice in a day after food, continue all above for six weeks and report the improvement.

I got operated for G-III haemorrhoids on 27-03-17. They gave antibiotics, vitamin tablets etc. To use and advised sits bath. After the course got over I continued sits bath at least thrice a day. I continued the medicines everyday even though I intake liquid items like fresh juices, tender coconut, mixed curd rice without any spicy foods till 14-05-2017. On 19-05-2017 I am supposed travelled after so long time and distance for the first time after surgery by bus, when I am supposed to stand and sit 4 hrs (go) and 5 hrs (return) respectively. On 20-05-17, when I went to bathroom, I saw complete raw blood in it. Again I took sits bath after tat. It repeated like this only once on the same day evening with raw blood in the stool. Then I went to nearby govt. Hospital and got the same tablets given after my surgery and continued it till june 2017 end. From july I also stopped having sits bath. In july middle I found that I am starting to get maroon coloured stool with some foul smell. It continued for 15 days. Then I went online and came to know its may be because of internal bleeding. Also I am feeling burning stomach with spicy foods. So I started using DIMOL-40 mg for acidity and burning thrice a day after food as a local doctor referred. The thing is once I started using the dimol tab the stool started to become usual. And not even once I noticed the colour change after medication. Please tell what is the issue for me? Why I got raw blood bleeding exactly after 2 months of operation even I continued my medicine course recommended thrice a day with sits bath (only for a day)? Also why I got change in stool colour before using this (dimol 40 mg) medicine everyday? What is the problem with my health? What these symptoms indicate? Anything to get panic? Please kindly help it out.

The maroon stools are because of intestinal bleeding intestinal bleeding occurs commonly due to pain killers that may have been given to you for piles. This may have caused macroscopic ulceration and leaking of blood. U started antacid dimol 40 mg which heals ulcer and bleeding stopped and colour became normal. It is however advisable not to take it for granted - get CBC test iron level vitamin B12, PT/INR to rule out any other cause like low platelets and blood lacking clotting factors. Also meet a gastroenterologist for UGI endoscopy to rule out stomach or intestinal ulcer.

Reconstructive Surgeries - Where All They Are Applicable?

MCh - Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, DNB, MS - General Surgery, MBBS
Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon, Bangalore
Reconstructive Surgeries - Where All They Are Applicable?

Reconstructive surgeries are means to usually correct a deformity within the body, which is either congenital (since birth and formed in the womb) or acquired. Reconstructive surgeries are used to correct problems caused by accidents and injuries as well as correcting deformities. It is a large umbrella term and includes plastic surgery to correct certain defects. However, it may or may not include elements of cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery primarily aims to restore utilitarian functions but doesn’t always necessarily have a cosmetic angle.

Where is reconstructive surgery applicable?

  1. Surgeries to correct the functionality as well the appearance of feet and hands: These may include webbed fingers and toes, removal of an extra finger or toe, or corrective surgeries on your hand from other disorder such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
  2. Correcting functionality and the look of an area after tumor removal: Cancerous tumors may require the removal of larger sections of tissue surrounding the tumor. This will result in an unsightly appearance or even balancing issues in the body. Reconstructive surgery aims to correct this and can be done on any part of the body.
  3. Breast reduction or reconstruction: Women who undergo mastectomy and have breasts removed, either partially or fully, undergo surgery to reconstruct breasts. Some women who tend to have large breasts and thus suffer from back and neck pain, undergo this surgery to reduce the breast size and thus, improve the quality of life.
  4. Burn victims: Burn victims often require the most amount of reconstructive surgery, which also becomes a necessity to avoid further infection from wound exposure. This is possibly one of the areas where reconstructive surgery is used most widely.
  5. Accident victims: Areas of the body severely affected by accidents can be corrected with reconstructive surgery. Grafting and replacement are also used in such cases to reconstruct damaged areas.
  6. Correcting congenital defects: Some congenital defects, such as a child born with a cleft lip, are prime candidates for reconstructive surgery. These have functionality issues as well as cosmetic reasons entwined together. Examples of other disorders corrected by reconstructive surgeries are cleft palette and a deviation in the nasal septum which may cause breathing problems.

Who performs reconstructive surgery?
Plastic as well as cosmetic surgeons may be required to perform reconstructive surgery, depending on the requirement. However, in most cases, it is the plastic surgeon who performs the corrective surgery to return function and utility to the affected area of the body.

Evaluation
Unlike cosmetic procedures, it is your doctor who determines what is viable and possible and what would be the proper requirement in case you require reconstructive surgery. Unlike cosmetic surgery wherein you get to chose how you look in order to get the right aesthetic, reconstructive surgery deals with a more utilitarian and corrective approach.
