Hye, Thanks for the query. If you want to gain some weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. 1. Eat 5 to 6 meals a day In order to gain weight, you need to start eating 5-6 meals a day. However, it is important that you break these meals into parts, as eating a lot at once may result in indigestion. Also, be sure to include healthy foods in your diet for a healthy weight gain. 2. Weight train at least 3 times a week When you train with weights, your muscles grow. 3. Consume more calories than you burn. Eating calories more than your normal intake may not be easy, but you must do it if you want to stop being skinny. Make sure you don’t do it just by overeating at once, but instead do it gradually over the whole day. 4. Work out your entire body A lot of gym goers usually train only the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Make sure you workout your entire body for a wholesome weight gain. 5. Load up on protein As informed earlier, you have to consume more calories than your normal intake every day. You can do this by eating foods rich in protein like dairy, meat, eggs, nuts, dry fruits, pulses, sprouts, smoothies, milk shakes etc. 6. Drink your calories It may be tough to meet your calorie requirements by just eating. Drinking milk, lassi, milkshakes or fruit smoothies with little or no sugar can be a great way to load up on the required calories. 7. Try and eat fast (but don’t choke on it) Your body takes some time to give signals of satiety which is why eating fast can help you eat more. 8. Focus on recovery after each workout Stretching exercises, foods rich in carbohydrates can help recover your body significantly. Also, you should aim for 8 hours of sleep as inadequate sleep can cause several problems. 9. Be patient with yourself Hoping to gain weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Even if you follow all the advice that is there, you may end up gaining just 1-2 kilos in a month. Every body is different, and just because you are not seeing results in terms of weight gain, you shouldn’t feel discouraged. Living healthy by eating the right diet will make you feel better and more positive about life and increase your strength. 10. Believe in yourself You could get your hormonal profile done to rule out any issues.

Post period itching and slight sharp pain in clitoris. Is it due to friction from pads? I am 22 virgin.

This may be due to pads, it will recover with in 3 to 4 days if you clean and dry the lower region. And if it is continue after that then visit to doctor for that. Use any vaginal wash. Better use cotton pads to avoid such problems.

I am 64 year-old. I have been playing badminton for last 32 years. I play on un-cemented playground i. E. Kutcha ground. After playing for one and half hour, my right knee somewhat gets stiff. Sometimes somewhat gets swollen. My bone density is normal 114%. No pain at all. What should I do?

If it's just swelling, don't worry. Apply ice on knees. Do proper warm-up and cool down. Stiffness will go with cooling down and stretching exercises.

My mother is taking tension so much, she is diabetic patient and stress and over thinking is becoming harmful for us day by day her diabetes remains high around 400 and she is finding so many troubles in normal body functioning.

Hello , 400 is quote high. And it is not just related to tension. What treatment she is taking currently? her blood pressure under control? cholesterol level? since when she is diabetic? get done serum creatinine, urine albumin report too and fundus examination by opthalmologist. And does she have tingling sensation or slipping of chappals in both. Feet?

First before washing hair apply oil in the morning or previous night.Don't use anti-dandruff shampoos at all bcoz this will increase the amount of dandruff and hairfall. Don,t eat too spicy and oily food.Include salads in diet and fruits. Take Biohair liquid (Bioforce AG) 10drops in 1/4th cup of water ,drink twice a day 1/2 an hour after meals. Use Arnica Hair "N" Scalp Shampoo (WHEEZAL) Apply gently into wet hair and scalp and rinse thoroughly.Wash hair twice a week. Use Arnica hair treatment(WHEEZAL) Apply required amount on scalp and hair previous day before hair wash. Revert back

There may be many reasons for such sports/activity related pain: 1. Extra body weight 2. Running on concrete surface 3. Injury to ligaments. 4. Not following proper warming up and limping down I would suggest to reduce 2 - 3 kgs of body weight. Avoid playing on concrete surface and use good quality shoes. Always do proper warm ups and do limping down after the session. If it is due to any memorable injury I would suggest to use crepe bandage and avoid putting too much strain on that ankle again.

Increasing in frequency of stool may be few reasons. One indigestion once the lower portion of intestines do not clear it will give sensation of flushing. There may be piles or fissures which also cause more flush. Due you have any pain during passing stool or frothy stool or hard / liquid stool. Any relation with eating as gastro colic reflex is very common. Please explain your symptoms in this light to understand well thanks.

It is intolerance to sound and you can use earplugs and avoid going near loud noises. If you have intolerance to cold you test your tsh as hypothyroidism can cause this.

Hello- Females are afraid of vaginal sex due to mis concepts of extreme pain. Talk to her and aware about the real facts of sex. Don't go for vaginal insertion straight away, practice foreplay, start with kissing , rubbing and even caressing her, you can also perform oral sex to make her comfortable. Insert finger at start when she is hot, always use artificial lubrication for insertion and when she is ready go for vaginal sex. It is not necessary that these steps should be taken in one sexual session , you have all the time in the world so take it slow. Some people also drink alcohol , to minimize pain and enhance sexual urge during first sex, it really helps.

No one needs to react appropriately as per situation. during disease of self or others, happiness can help ward off bad times with positive frame of mind to find out answers,to act /react accordingly. if there is news of floods/ drought/ accidents/epidemics of diseases etc. one cannot be happy about them ,neither brood about pathetic conditions of roads, hospitals ,global warming but one can surely introspect to know the answers and to help each other. being happy for the sake of happiness is robotic and it is not worth hiding the tears. shedding few tears for others does help own emotional health.

Follow few basic things so that you get better results in short period of time…. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …. 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) TAKE 30 ml of divya shawasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2 tablets of SWAS-KASA-CHINTAMANI RASA, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. C) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals.
