I am 29 years old. I had the problem of irregular periods for past 6 years and they said PCOD problem. Now from last 3 months it's normal. Am not taking any medicine now. But problem is the hair growth as beard. I feel very bad to face someone. I have to shave it regularly. By evening I see black hairs again growing over chin. There are also some black marks there. Kindly help me put. I want to get rid of this hair growth over my chin.

Day 7-18 of cycle is fertile period when risk of pregnancy is most if sex happens. So avoid sex in these days. Hwever chance ovulation may smtimes happen before/ after, thus this method has high failure rate too.

Hi, I'm 27 years old my last LMP was 8 jan 2015 and I checked on 8 feb I got positive in urine test and went to doc she has done a vaginal scan no sac has seen and then she said for blood beta test that also came positive with 416 miu/ml and then she said that to do the test after 2 days. So my question is this range is good for 4 weeks 0 days and why the sac did not seen and this range can be doubled. please tell me.

Hello, It is too early actually as the gestation would only have been 2 weeks practically after fertilisation. This at present is an ongoing pregnancy which is too small to even may have been missed on ultrasound.If the SECOND BETA HCG TEST LEVELS ARE MORE THAN 65%raised than previous levels then its an ongoing pregnancy.

carry on with your day to day work, weight gain is due to wrong eating (may be) try giving up oil, sugar, sweets, erratic eating for few days. Take lots of fruits (never mind the sugar), salads minus sauces, vegetables which are just sauted with little oil and steamed and made yummy with help of tomato puree, chaat masala. Reduce salt intake also. You are 26, do write back about cycle pattern change if any, get thyroid and hb tested along with blood sugar. Gym people will teach you for sure but I would suggest a physio to help you & to teach you to exercise more.

Medically, none of the fruits are harmful. Eating or drinking juice from outside can cause stomach infection. If she has diabetes, then certain foods and fruits must be avoided.

Loss of sexual desire is more common in women than in men. As many as 3 in 10 women have reduced or limited sexual interest in any kind of sexual activity. While the medical term for this problem is Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD), it is generally understood as a loss of libido.

Following are the causes of less libido in females:

1. Hormonal Disorders:

  • Dryness of the vagina and pain during sexual intercourse may affect sexual drive both mentally and physically.
  • After menopause, drop in the count of testosterone hormone also affects sexual drive which can result in loss of libido.
  • With advancing age, the level of androgens decrease, and hence results in a lack of sexual desire.

2. Lifestyle Disorders:

  • In some of the cases, lack of emotional support in a relationship plays a significant role in the loss of libido. Post baby 'coolness' may also act as a driving force for loss in libido.
  • In today's era, changing lifestyle is drastically affecting our lives. Following an unhealthy lifestyle may result in increased weight that may affect self-image, and indirectly may also affect the sexual desire.
  • Stress and job, family pressure and exhaustion may also influence sexual desire of a woman.

3. Medical Disorders:

  • There are conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids and thyroid disorders that may have a negative impact on the sexual drive of a woman.
  • Certain medicines such as antidepressants, oral contraceptives, and medicines that lower blood pressure may also negatively impact the sexual drive in women.

4. Psychological factors:

  • Increasing cases of depression, anxiety, frustration, stress is also an important cause of loss of libido in the contemporary society.

In simple words first you must know your pelvic muscles. You need to contract them. To identify pelvic muscles first time. When your passing urine in the mid stream try to hold it by contracting your muscles. Once you find tat. Repeat the procedure of contracting your pelvic muscles. Do it 3-4 times. Hold for 5 sec relax for 5 sec then hold repeat the procedure. Do it when your relaxed and not when the bladder is full.

I took ipill on 29september after two weeks heavy bleeding like periods started and was there till one week and on 27 October I had sex again but I am not sure the semen went inside or no should I take ipill again? Please advice.

My wife is pregnant during fifth week she has been deducted with thyroid. And she been under medication of thyroxine 50mcg. Now she is 11th week of pregnancy and TSH has come to 3.16 from 7.28 initially. So does she has to continue with the same dosage.

Yes, she has to continue the drug as ideal tsh in pregnancy should be below this. And she should not stop the drug at least in pregnancy.
