After swallowing, food passes through the esophagus into the stomach across the lower esophageal spinchter (les). Normally this les prevents reflux of ingested food. But when this spinchter becomes weak, food refluxes from stomach into esophagus. Sometimes it can come in mouth as well. This is gerd or gastro esophageal reflux disease.

Hello, As you are having cough and fever, get your blood tested (empty stomach) for – CBC, ESR, AEC, Sputum examination, Widal, Peripheral smear for MP, Urine (R & M), Stool (R & M) first. (In case required, may advise you some other tests later). Revert me back with the reports for proper treatment.

Hello you can start with strolls or light walk amidst clean green environment. It can be done with short breaks as per your comfort rather than walking for 30 mins at a stretch. Also start with some warm up exercises like arm & leg rotation, neck exercises, shoulder joint exercises for smooth operation of joints. Take care of your balance in order to provide injury due to falls. Build up on your exercise stamina gradually & make sure to have a balanced diet.

To get concentration in studies- * first you have to make your mind relaxed & free from other thoughts. For that practice anulom-vilom pranayam in the morning for atleast 5-8 minutes daily. * do yogasana namely padmasana & gorakshasana daily for 8-10 minutes. * completely avoid all addiction of alcohol & smoking. Medicine- * take 2 teaspoon of shankhpushpi syrup of baidyanath company in the evening to calm down your mind. * buy medha kwath packet from ramdev shop & boil 1 full teaspoon of kwath in a glass of water for 2-3 minutes & when it remain half glass after boiling, filter it & drink it in the morning after breakfast.

Hello, please send your all investigation report This type of backache is may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advice:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. b. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. c. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. d. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. e. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. f. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. g. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

There are chances of getting pregnant even even though you release seminal fluid outside vagina. When you get excited, some slimy lubricating fluid (prostatic fluid) flow in penile urethra that may contain some sperms which enter vaginal tract during intercourse before proper ejaculation happens. Also there maybe some sperms remained in penile urethra from previous Ejaculation. There are maximum chances of getting pregnant in the mid cycle days  of menstrual cycle. If your cycle is of 28 days (1st day to be counted on the day menstrual flow starts) the 14th day bears the maximum chances of getting pregnant. On the both sides of 14th day chances of conceiving gradually decreases with minimum chance (not zero) near 1st and 28th day of cycle. During lactation and breastfeeding period chances of conceiving are minimal but not zero. In female of childbearing age who suffering with polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD-PCOS) chances of conceiving decreases.

It appears your periods have messed up because of the different hormonal pills you have taken. I would advice you to wait patiently for this month . Also use another form of contraception like condoms if needed. If your periods fail to happen next month on the usual time then do a urine pregnancy test. If negative then consider regular contraceptive pill.
