Usually we recommend patient to undergo ACL reconstruction in symptomatic patient due to ACL injury to prevent early arthritis changes. That's you already undergone. You continue physiotherapy as advised by operative surgeon. Needs some more information regarding date of injury and operation and current knee status like Range of motion of knee joint.

I think surgery is last resort after local steroid injection. If you are reluctant to surgery you can have one more local steroid injection if no relief after that then you can think about surgical management. Usually surgery results are good with little percent chances complications.

I feel pain in my neck and back side .for long time working on office to sitting on chair.

I feel pain in my neck and back side .for long time working on office to sitting on chair.
Sitting in a chair for long hours especially in front of a system with out maintaining proper posture will induce excess strain on the neck as well as on the back. Sitting straight with proper back support is very important. Take frequent breaks in between.

I have knee arthritis from over a year now. It hurts and feels weak when I walk how can I fix it.
Rheumatic arthritisIt is called as Rheumatic arthritis. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation The sound what you hear is called as Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ (also termed crepitation) is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue. Popping Knees and Crackling Knuckles. Occasionally hearing pops, snaps, and crackles when you bend your knees doesn’t necessarily mean you have arthritis. The kneecap (patella) is the small, convex bone that sits at the front of the knee, shielding the joint.

Acute Sinusitis - Interesting Ways It Can Be Managed!

Acute sinusitis is a type of infection of the sinus. It involves an infection or inflammation of your sinus membranes. The most common symptom of sinusitis is that you have trouble draining mucus from your nose. The sinus is the cavity around the nasal passage and it may swell up when this condition occurs. Usually, the symptoms are temporary.

However, sometimes, especially if you suffer from chronic sinusitis, medical intervention is required.

  1. Saline Nasal Spray: This is a spray you put into your nose several times a day to clean your nasal passages.
  2. Nasal Corticosteroids: There are many types of nasal corticosteroids. They include fluticasone, budesonide, mometasone, beclomethsone. These nasal sprays not only help to treat inflammation, they help prevent to prevent inflammation as well.
  3. Paracetamol: This is a type of OTC pain relievers and they help relieve the pain of acute sinusitis. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen are two other OTC pain relievers which can be used instead of Paracetamol.
  4. Antibiotics: Antibiotics are usually not required and should never be taken without the doctor's prescription. However, sometimes the doctor may recommend it if he thinks there is a bacterial infection or if the symptoms progress rapidly.
  5. Immunotherapy: Immunotherapy is given when allergies are the reason you are having acute sinusitis. It is rarely needed, however.
  6. Surgery: For sinusitis symptoms which are chronic or occur frequently, nasal surgery may be the best option for permanent relief. A number of different surgical procedures can be used to treat acute sinusitis such as balloon sinuplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery etc.

Hello Patient met with accident in August 2017. He had fracture in both wrist and hip. Dr. Inserted plate but the hip ball was getting shrink. Later we went for follow-up, he suggested a hip-ball replacement surgery. But unfortunately after 10 days the hip-ball got dislocated. Afterwards Dr. Adjusted the hip-ball without surgery and asked for complete bed rest. All things are cured now, but the patient is having foot drop now.

For ligament sprain atleast 4 weeks of rest is required depending on severity. If you try to mobilise early the pain and swelling may recur and the healing will get delayed.
