Diet & Lifestyle Advice Avoid Pitta-aggravating foods like spicy, heavy, and oily foods, as well as tea and coffee. Avoid refined foods, refined sugar, junk food, and alcoholic and carbonated drinks. Increase intake of fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, and vegetable juice prepared from lettuce, carrot, capsicum, and alfalfa. Avoid using chemical products on the hair. Try herbal oils and shampoos instead. Home Remedies Mix powdered Indian gooseberry (amla) and sesame seeds in equal amounts. Take 1 teaspoon twice a day with water. If you want more better treatment consult me.

I am suffering from consistent hair loss for the past few years. During the day, wherever I go, I see my hair strands lying around. If I apply oil or wash my hair, the scene is disastrous. I used to have long, shiny, bouncy and very smooth hair. I have hypothyroidism but that is under control as I am under regular medication. My hair started greying when I was around 17 year old and since the last 6 years, the greying has accelerated. I touch-up the roots every month and occasionally straighten my hair using a hair straightener, but I make sure not to touch the roots. My hair has become brittle, not so much dry though, but it also tends to get tangled a lot lately. Please suggest on how to take care of my hair and how to proceed with treatment, if required.

Hello lybrate-user I understand your concern and from the information you have provided I can see three causes straight ahead 1. Hypothyroidism - it does affect even if levels r normal because eltroxin is keeping them normal and not naturally 2. Hair coloring 3 straightening - even though you avoid the roots, the hair loses moisture and becomes brittle. Also I need to know if you oil your Hair or not, if not please oil them 2 / week 1 hour before shampoo or overnight. Get your HB levels done to rule out anemia. Also start homeopathic treatment to control the fall and improve health in general. Be gentle with your Hair and avoid vigorous massage or rubbing of towel on Wet hair. Diabetes is disease of lifestyle. It can't be cured but only controlled. There are lakhs of people who controlled their diabetes without medicines. It can be kept under control for years. But it usually happens only in those who have mild diabetes.

Hello Lybrate user you can loose your weight naturally by using following tips. It will also benificail in your piles problem. Weight reduction is achieved by three dimensional approach. 1. Dietary changes- you must take high fiber and whole grain diet like khichdi, daliya, corn flex, fruits-apple, guava, papaya, soups, multi grain atta chapati etc. Avoid- deep fried, spicy, sweets, cold drinks, curd etc. 2. Life style modification- avoid sedentary life and be active. Go for morning or evening walk, do some yoga and exercises. Cycling, swimming and outdoor games can also help. Avoid nap / day sleep. Do suryanamaskar, trikonasan, bhujangasana, yogic jogging etc 3. Ayurvedic medicines- some ayurvedic medicines along with Panchkarma treatment can reduce weight quickly.

Hello, you had paraspinal muscle spasm becoz of lifting heavy weight, would suggest to take muscle relaxant, rest and later physiotherapy back strengthing and stretching exercises.

Hi See it's impossible to increase height after 18 years old but yes you definitely can decrease your weight Drink plenty of water atleast 3 L start green tea avoid coffee and tea avoid fast, spicy and oily food avoid alcohol drink atleast dinner 2 hrs before sleep Start exercise and yoga Do stretching and pilates.

Hi Sure Drink plenty of water atleast 4 L in whole day Start drinking green tea Cut off fast food Avoid spicy and oily food Cut off coffee and tea Eat small meals Don't skip meals Do Exercise atleast half hourly Do jogging and squats.
