I'm 17 years old, my problem is. I'm really fed up with my life. Within this age I had experienced so much difficulties which give me lot of stress. Now days I'm not even able to sleep. When I was 15. I had started taking pills for depression. Still I'm eating. That makes me fat. I was 47 kg from when I begin this medicine. Now I'm 72 kg Which spoiled my overall confidence. Now my main problem is I can't control my anger. When I'm angry I'm behaving really bad forgetting everything. And after when I calm down. I feel guilty for all that mess and feels to die. I'm in really a bad situation now. Please save me. What should I do?

Anger is an outburst which is happening because there are things in your life which you don't seem to be in control of. Any ad hoc measure will not help in resolving the real issue. But I want you to know that there is no situation in life which is so difficult that you would want to totally run away with it. Situations can be managed, there is always a way ahead. You will have to reach out and take support of the right people though.

Sexual thoughts come naturally to everybody. But sometimes the timing of these sexual thoughts and the frequency with which they haunt you everyday may leave you restless. Here are a few tips to help you get rid of sexual thoughts. Accept the fact – You are getting these sexual thoughts because you are a normal and healthy human being. If you were having some mental problems or if you were having any illness, you might not get any sexual thoughts at all. So getting them is a sign of health. Accept this fact first. Stop feeling guilty about sex: Sex is a natural biological phenomenon. Any creature on this earth has to indulge in sex for its survival. Sexual thoughts are a natural way in which body and mind is getting prepared for sexual act in future. Hence if you are getting sexual thoughts, you are not committing a sin. Stop feeling guilty about it and just chill. Proper knowledge – Right knowledge about sex thoughts is very important. Get to know the difference between Normal and obsessive sexual thoughts. If you think you are getting normal sexual thoughts, then there is nothing to worry. But if you think your sexual thoughts are obsessive in nature, then try the following tips – Respect yourself – Even if you are getting uncontrolled sex thought, there is nothing to worry. Everything can be corrected. But you need to start respecting yourself. Whenever you get such thoughts, stop blaming yourself or blaming your life. Make sure sexual thoughts are harmless – Whenever you have sexual thoughts, make sure not to act on them. Just come out of your room to an open place or stay away from your object of your sex thought . Stop watching porn – You are already engulfed in sex thoughts and over that you are watching porn means, you are not helping yourself. Get a strong mind control and stop watching porn. It will only worsen your problems. Go and meet people – Most of the times, excessive sexual thoughts is accompanied with fear to go outside and mingle with people around you. Conversely, talking to people and mingling with them will keep you in real world and help you get rid of sex thoughts. Do not restrict yourself to your room – If you do not get anybody to engage with, when you are getting those obsessive thoughts, at least come out of your room and have some fresh air outside. More you see the real world around you, more chances that you will not dwelve in those thoughts. Exercise – Gym / yoga / jogging / walking / outdoor games – anything that you like, just stick on to it. A good physical health will boost your self confidence and brings about mental balance. Jogging early in the morning is a good way of self analysis and planning the day better. Pranayama – Pranayama helps to gain control over your breathing pattern and in turn helps to control mind. Learn how to do a simple pranayama Meditation – Meditation helps you to concentrate on things that are important in your life. It helps you to streamline your energy for the goals of your life. Spirituality is the way forward for you. Embrace it. Pray for mental strength and you will definitely win. Good books – Good spiritual books, spiritual magazines, self help books, and biographies of people whom you admire the most – like Steve Jobs, Swamy Vivekananda etc. Collect them and start spending at least one hour per day. Have a goal in life – Determine where you want to see yourself in another 5 years, 10 years and so on. Start working towards your goals. Let these sexual thoughts be there at one side, while you run towards your aim. Have a disciplined lifestyle •Get up early in the morning, do some exercise or jogging, bath, pranayama, meditation, reading, breakfast, work / college. •Before going to bed, plan your next day. •Always use alarm clocks. •Fix a time for everything, even for smaller things like watching tv, facebooking etc. Do not do anything which is not in your plans. Avoid certain foods Avoiding junk food, aerated drinks, onion, garlic, excess sweets, non veg, egg and oily food for a while helps you to control sex thoughts. As per Indian belief system, these types of food are Tamasik in nature. I am not saying to avoid them totally, but avoid temporarily till you gain a good hold of your life. Stammering or stuttering is a type of speech impairment where sounds or syllables are repeated involuntarily or there are unintended gaps in between words when the person is unable to make the desired sound.

People develop stutters due to genetic flaws, motor functioning defects, coordination problems or due to psychological stressors. The condition can result in anxiety, depression and withdrawal from verbal communication.

How does homeopathy help?

A stutter can be practiced away or corrected by speech therapy but there is no specific medicine that can be used to cure stammering. Homeopathic medicines can provide relief from the symptoms by fixing flawed nervous functions, improve motor coordination and modify the vocal apparatus. Different homeopathic treatments can be used depending on the nature of the condition.

The following is a list of homeopathic remedies and lifestyle changes that can be used to address the problem:

  1. Foods rich in vitamin B6 like nuts, fish, bananas and chicken should be consumed regularly by children who have a stutter to help with motor functions.

  7. Staphysagria can aid in reducing social anxiety which often causes stammering i.e. the stammer only happens while interacting with strangers or authority figures.
  8. Nux vomica (strychnine) is the medicine to use when stammering is a result of extreme stress or over work.
  9. Fright or shock often causes speechlessness or stammering. Aconite can provide immediate relief in such cases.
  10. Lachesis is an effective homeopathic medicine when the patient stutters over specific letters or syllables.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. You must be able to understand concentration, attention span, recollection and distraction. If you are able to watch a movie for two hours continuously, if you are able to play a game for an hour, then you do not have any concentration problems. You can't be attentive towards your studies because you are not interested in it. You are able to watch movie and play game because you are interested in it. Human cannot be attentive towards anything for more than 10 minutes. Then you should study in such a way that your attention is continued and make the subjects are interesting to you. Effective learning techniques should help you. Recollection depends on anxiety, stress and other physical and circumstantial factors. Distractions while studying are plentiful. You should be able to overcome distractions or avoid distractions. Please understand the above. Change your study style and attitude accordingly. I suggest online counseling and" effective learning" techniques. Take care.

I am male 20 years old. From birth I am having stammer and I had also completed homeopathic course to decrease it or to overcome from it but nothing happened. You may try" speech therapy" please consult a speech therapist who will give you some exercises and it will help in reducing your stammer. If your stammer is because of social anxiety, then you may consult a counsellor who will help you to gain more self confidence and thereby reducing your anxiety if any.

Depakote is a mood stabilizer not an antidepressant. You might have been prescribed this by a psychiatrist for Bipolar Mood disorder. It needs to be continued as per your psychiatrist advise. It would be good for you to get your diagnosis known correctly to get educated and be more drug compliant. All the best.

I dnt knw wats going on with me. All time I feel like tense. What I look I never gets thts except tears. Dnt nw y.but all time I feels to cry a lot nd lot nd I do tht. You could be looking down the barrel of a serious problem and you must meet with a counselor and a doctor immediately. These appear like mood swings, vacillating between anger and sadness. It can be a crippling condition if not treated and if treated early the prognosis is good. So quickly visit a psychiatrist and seek his/her opinion and you must then follow the prescription completely. Comply with all the medical prescriptions and work in tandem with a counselor for a long time and learn coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges you will face. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime, you can do certain things that will give you benefits anyway. Emotional therapy will alleviate a lot of the problems faced in this condition because it is a mood disorder. You need to particularly look at your levels of anger both for its reasonableness and to express it in appropriate manner. I suspect that much of this anger and sadness may have origins in early childhood that you may never be aware of now. Talk to your parents and explore that angle. This information will help the counselor too. Also, you will need to check whether there is any genetic factor involved. You must exercise regularly, eat healthily and sleep normally too. If your motivation and cooperation are good much can be achieved. You must have a time-structured schedule filled with interesting and reasonable activities and it must be monitored for compliance and delivery. The reason I say this is that many times you will be inclined to have grandiose notions and confidently believe that you can do without the medication. This will set you back many months in the treatment and delay and sabotage the recovery: forewarned you are forearmed. If this combination of medication with therapy is maintained for at least three years without any episodes or breakdowns, it is possible to taper the medication in consonance with the doctor. You can ask the doctor for the symptoms he noticed in you for a personal understanding of this condition. Please do not delay and do not get alarmed either.

I am indian army my phycal is exlant, hobby any working. Everyday 6am to 7am 17minutes 5km runing and 40 minutes exercise. Phir bhi mere ko mixed anxiety dipressiv disorder hai. Mera medicine sixteen month pahle proxtin25mg 0-0-1, pragablin 75mg1-0-2, dhotiapin75mg 0-0-1, ciplar-20mg 1-1-0 and folargn 10mg 1/2-1/ one month bad ciplar and florgen ko band kar diya baki continue six month. Phir dhotiapen ko hata diya aur pragablin aur proxatin continue ten month se le rha hu. Mera problem that aachank ghabrahat, hedac, body aur head me jhanjhnahat, blodpresor high lo jaise lagta tha mai mar jaunga. Abhi thora sudhar hai air sota hu to mera head but bhari ho jata hai air headuc hamesa rhata hai please sir give me suggestion and treatment sir? thanku sir.

Discharge of semen against your wish, without any control over it is a sign of premature ejaculation. This needs treatment under a psychiatrist and most of the reasons behind it remain psychological. Loss of semen may cause distress, however it is not linked to causation of any hormonal problems, so diabetes is definitely not caused by semen loss.

If you keep falling in love with any girl and have sexual feelings for her, that means you are a hormonally active male. Having sexual feelings for age appropriate females at your age is completely acceptable. Just in case if you feel your likings are much more than normal you may do a serum testosterone levels and serum thyroid profile to rule out any hormonal imbalances. Also if you feel your urge, thoughts or feelings to have sex keep ruminating in your mind always, you should consult a psychiatrist for the same.

Get in a routine. If you’re depressed, you need a routine depression can strip away the structure from your life. One day melts into the next. Setting a gentle daily schedule can help you get back on track. 2. When you're depressed, you may feel like you can't accomplish anything. That makes you feel worse about yourself. To push back, set daily goals for yourself. "Start very small,” "Make your goal something that you can succeed at, like doing the dishes every other day. As you start to feel better, you can add more challenging daily goals. 3. Exercise- It temporarily boosts feel-good chemicals called endorphins. It may also have long-term benefits for people. You might feel like no one likes you, but is there real evidence for that? You might feel like the most worthless person on the planet, but is that really likely? Try to have fun. If you’re depressed, make time for things you enjoy. What if nothing seems fun anymore? "That's just a symptom of depression, You have to keep trying anyway. As strange as it might sound, you have to work at having fun. Plan things you used to enjoy, even if they feel like a chore. Keep going to the movies. Keep going out with friends for dinner. When you're depressed, you can lose the knack for enjoying life, you have to relearn how to do it. In time, fun things really will feel fun again.

Dear Sayed, Welcome to lybrate. Memory and mind power depends mainly on three aspects. Understanding, storage and recollection. To understand what you are studying, you must be able to be attentive or concentrate. Concentration is possible when you are interested in that subject. Creative way of learning can help you concentrate and understand easily. When you are able to understand and concentrate, it is stored within your brain. If you read more and more it will be store in long term memory. Third part is retrieval. Whenever you want to retrive what you learned and stored, your brain gets the request, searches the database and retrieves the information for you. The retrieval may prove to be difficult if you are anxious, stressed, worried or tired physically or mentally. Retrieval is more easy when you are relaxed and healthy. Brain needs nutrients to keep itself sharp. Fruits, vegetables and dry fruits provide much needed nutrients for your brain. Include at least one fruit in your daily diet. Physical exercises, entertainment, hobbies, relaxation, memory games like sudoku etc help keep your memory sharp and active.
