Hello, Lybrate user, Still ,your weight is more than the required limit. As per wt chart furnished by you. Hello doctor, I am a diabetic patient since 5 years. Now in my abdomen TB virus has been detected and from today only I have started taking R cinex 600, combutol 1000, pyzina 750 (2wice daily) and benadon. I am also taking the previous medicine also. I.e. Eltroxin 100 for thyroid, glisen 2.

Hello, Mr. Bose, You have to assess your current nutritional status and whether you are on balanced nutrition. If you are not in the state of balanced nutrition your medicines will not work properly.

Hi,Thank you for your query. We will be happy to help you. Avoid all outside food that includes junk, processed food as well as food items that are oily, sugary, or salty. Instead eat home cooked meals with 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies. Have your dinner early and keep it light. Eat a protein rich breakfast every morning. Drink plenty of water throughout the day; especially before meals. Exercise at least 5 days a week, 30 minutes each time. We are here to guide you. Fat loss is a gradual process. There is no quick fix approach. Following a healthy diet which has optimal amounts of first class proteins (dairy, egg, chicken etc) reduced carbohydrates (white rice, poha etc) & healthy fats (almonds, walnuts etc) along with a structured exercise program that is balanced with weight training and cardio will surely help. You cannot target specific areas, fat is lost uniformly, but it may appear to go faster from the areas where you store less than the problem areas. Be consistent and patient. Kindly consult us for a customized diet and workout plan.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Depending on the type and level of workout you do, your protein needs may vary anywhere from 1.2 to 1.8 gms per kilograms of body weight. This needs to be assessed taking into consideration your intake, history etc too. But remember it's not all about only protein. Protein has to be in a balance with carbohydrates and fats as well.

In my opinion stopping the drug will not help you at all. These medicines are to be taken for lifetime.

Hi Shameel.. If you are loosing weight then it should be first checked for... As it can be sign of some serious disease...so before it really become serious find out the cause... Taking random Medicine for weight gain may not help... Still if you want take Homoeopathic Medicine Alfalfa Q 10 drops TDs before meals..

Don't worry start with brisk walk of 45 minutes daily in the morning. After walking do some light pranayam and stretching. Avoid food items that are deep fried, eat simple and plain home made food. Take apple cider vinegar daily that will keep both weight and heart problems at bay.

You can definitely take badam, walnuts and figs (anjeer) but in moderate quantity. Like 5 - 8 badams, about 25 g of walnuts and 2- 3 pieces of dry anjeer. But what is most important is to have a very good control of sugar levels. If you inform me the fasting, pp sugar levels, hba1c and weight, height and level of exercise daily plus medication being taken I can guide better.

The reason of not gaining weight are * improper diet * indigestion (disease of stomach, loose motions) * worms in intestine * thyroid disorder * diabetes *addiction (smoking or alcoholism) dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy.
