Your height and weight proportion is good. Which means your diet is fine but you need to do regular exercises to get into shape and to bring shape to your waist /abs. You can practicse cardio and abs exercise from Youtube channels like Fitnessblender, Popsugar fitness, Bowflex etc. Do 30 mins exercise daily and you will start seeing results in a month and in six months time you will be able to reduce all the extra fat.

Calories burnt per hour will depend on 1. Activity 2. Age 3. Height 4. Weight. You can go on internet, there are many activity-calorie calculator where you can feed the data and get results. In the current case you may be burning about 400-500 calories for 2 hours of gym. However it depends on how much of these two hours you are spending on which equipment in gym. How much of cardio you are doing etc.

Feeding mothers can work on weight reduction after 2 months of baby's birth. - Eat balanced, low calorie, nutritious diet - You only need to cater for 400-500 calories extra for baby. It means just 1.25 times normal diet. - Take lot of milk/products, proteins, vegetables, greens. - Take 2-3 fruits daily. - Take meals/snacks every 2 hours - 10-15 almonds daily - Cut down all fried stuff, Puri, Paratha Ghee, etc - Cut down sweets, laddus and similar stuff - No colas or juices - Two glasses salted Nimbu paani daily. + one glass water every hour. - 30 mins brisk walk daily. - Aim for 1 - 2 kg weight loss per month. - Stay Healthy Stay Happy, things will get better with time.

I am 40 years old and little over weight - 85 kg with a height of 5'6' I tried gym, yoga and also drink a lot of warm water throughout the day but still the weight doesn't seem to loose. In fact I had gained 3-4 kgs from 82-83 to now crossing 85. I come across so many offers to reduce weight but I am not sure if they are really helpful. Please suggest a best possible solution to reduce weight by at least 10-15 kgs in 3 months time.

I tried gym, yoga and also drink a lot of warm...
1. Gym, yoga can only contribute 20% to weight loss. Rest 80% is dependent on the food you eat. 2. Warm water does not create any weight loss. There is no drink or medicine that can create weight loss. 3. For weight loss you need to take a 1500 calories diet. 4. Yoga / Gym for one hour. 5. Stop all fried/sweet foods including from parties/weekends. 6. Don't set Targets like -15 Kgs in 3 months. Such unreal targets are bound to fail, leading to more frustration and disappointment. 7. 2-3 kgs per month is what is achievable. 8. Follow a holistic path to health, don't fall for advertisements.

Health is a long term project. Its not possible to lose 15 kgs in a month. Avoid trying such extreme experiments. Rapid weight loss can lead to dizziness, weakness, loss of hair etc. You don't want to faint on the day of your marriage. You need to improve your diet and do daily exercise, treat your body with respect on a long term basis. Don't play with nature. Aim to lose 3 kgs in a month and subsequently keep your weight loss program on even after marriage, so that in 6 months time you can lose about 15 kgs and look fit and trim and healthy.
