I am using 33 unit human mixtard u40. Yesterday I bought an insulin pen novo4. That's unit is different in u100. How many unit is taken in U100 pen?

U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome.And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.

It seems like something going wrong with your cardio-respiratory system. Go to physician for some essential investigation like Chest X-ray ,ECG, CBC and lipid profile etc. Exhausting in climbing ladder or even in speech shows possibility of coronary artery disease (CAD) may be due to blockage induced by high cholesterol level .so can't leave untreated and must rule out as much as possible. Start eating triphla chooran in morning with luke warm water (empty stomach), eating this for 4 months regularly will help you to loose weight upto 8 to 10 kgs, apart from this eat light meals, only breakfast should be heavy. If possible eat fruits only every alternative days for 60 days, this will detox your body, and help you losing weight.

To control your appetite take following steps. 1. Drink lots of water. Keep drinking through the day 2. One glass every hour. 3. Before taking any additional food take 3-4 sips of water 4. Eat two apples/bananas every day 5. Eat slowly and chew properly 6. Reduce outings and avoid friends who eat too much 7. Take fitness challenge to stay fit and slim. 8. Learn to say NO to friends/family when you are full.

first keep a check on your weight. Its on a bit higher side. Take ayaskruti, 2 tsf in half a glass of warm water with kaishor guggal, 2 tabs, twice a day , after meals. (chew the tabs for best results). Take gandhaka rasayana, 2 tabs, twice a day, empty stomach with a cup of warm milk. Cut down your sugar and salt in take. Take ghiya, kaddu, tinde, lauki, veggie soup frequently in your diet. Avoid cold water and other cold liquids in your routine. Apply paste of turmeric in milk over your under arms or cream evenshade (charak pharma) also be used, twice a day. Continue the regime for 2 months. good luck

Hello, obaesity, being common, now a days due to irregular life style, - can be reduced, by opting-certain natural-norms in life. *go for a brisk walk in d morning to restore blood circulation to nourish d whole body. *tk, plenty of water to eliminate toxins and to regulate metabolism to burn fats cell. Go for meditation to reduce your stress and to nourish cell& tissues to curb fats cells. * go for cycling, jogging, swimming, skipping, gardening, playing badminton, dancing, regularly. * opt staircase, instead of a lift in your office. * tk, oats with green tea in d breakfast. * tk, salad, fruits, sprouts in ample qty in lunch. * consume salad, fruits whenever you feel hungry. * avoid, nicotine, alcohol, junk food, cookies, burger, pizza, butter, ghee, cookies, sitting on computer late in d night. # homoeo medicines which r administered gently, acts rapidly without any adverse effect, thereof. @ phyto berryq -10 drops, thrice, with little water before each tk, care.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it. *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised.

Hello, It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Remember, there's no magic bullet for weight loss. The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume. Choose a variety of healthy foods — such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean sources of protein — and include physical activity in your daily routine. Go through the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous). Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals. When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. 14: Take small frequent breaks for a quick walk in between as sitting for long hours together encourages the accumulation of fat in the body! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 3 months. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. (Slow and steady weight loss is good. As we all know when you lose weight fast, it seems to jump right back on, whereas when you lose weight steadily over time because of changes to your diet and balancing your hormones out it tends to stay off.) 1. Firstly please do not believe advertisements. Do your own research first. 2. Low GI does not mean you can eat anything unlimited. 3. Low GI index - below 55 are prefereble over high GI for diabetic persons. 4. Low GI and more fiber is what you should aim for. 5. Smaller portions and regular meals is what helps. 6. In addition, depending on your day routine you have to balance your calories so that you do not overeat. 6a. Cut down all sugars/Juices/sweets/biscuits/cakes etc. 7. Do exercise and Yoga regularly. 8. Right now your weight is in control. Even pre-diabetes can be brought under control with proper diet and exercise. 9. Try to stabilise this ailment without medicine.

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.
