I am 31 year male having discomfort in heart like pain sometimes and squeezing effect without pain. I took ecg, echo, treadmill test all three shows normal, some say it is anxiety, some say it is due to ulcer which is yet to be tested and get conformed (ulcer. If ECG,ECHO,Tread mill test are normal you don't have to worry. However consult cardiologist for further advice. Follow the advice given below age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress,Physical and mental strain, hyper acidity or muscle pull 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 4 Avoid Alcohol, smoking and tobacco consumption. 5.Take paracetamol 500mg one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily, at the time of chest pain .6. Drink plenty of water and take rest .7.if you have recurrent attack of chest pain take ECG and consult cardiologist

In a simple word. Ecosprin is a blood thinner. So a pt under a treatment with ecosprin has always a tendency to bleed during any surgical procedure. The dictm is that. You hv to stop ecosprin for a atleast 7 days prior operation.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Chest pain is due to anxiety. You can be health conscious. But you should not think about your heart health always and be apprehensive. This leads to obsession, obsession leads to chest pain, pain leads to anxiety, anxiety leads to acidity and hyperventilation and this leads to chest pain, anxiety etc. These are cyclical and one leads to another. I suggest counselling and cognitive behavior therapy as a cure. Take care.

Please consult Pulmonologist, get done CECT, i.e CT scan of chest that can reveal the exact causes. On other hand use hot towel rap around chest when there are pain. You may also suffering from low calcium level or low vit -D level too. Get checked.

Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. Continue it these will kept your blood sugar under control and as well as you are doing walk or following small frequent meal. This is also good for a diabetic patient. Now you are talking about improve health. So increase your protein intake 40 gm par day because in diabetes patients protein goes down thats why patient look leen. Than add panner or panner chilla with minimum oil. 1 whole egg. Soyabeen chaat 1 bowl. Peanuts. Bhunna or boiled channa. 4 almonds and 1 walnut. 2 piece of chicken or fish and mutton but only in tanduri form, grill form, steam form.

4 common habits that damage your heart

Certain habits can cause damage to your heart even if you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. According to researchers, working people having who have a desk job are more prone to suffer from heart conditions due to stress in their work life, lack of proper rest, limited movement, etc. Most of the times you tend to ignore your bad habits as the side effects do not occur immediately but can cause serious damage to your heart. Following are the common bad habits that you should avoid for a healthier heart-

1. Sitting all day
Something as seemingly trivial as it is, sitting all day can have an adverse effect on your heart. According to studies, if your job involves sitting on a desk for more than five hours then you have double the risk of suffering a heart failure compared to a person who has an active lifestyle. Make sure you take at least a five minute walk in an hour to reduce chances of hardening the arteries. A sedentary lifestyle has serious side effects on your overall health too.

2. Stress too much
Stress causes the body to release adrenaline which influences the way your body functions. In that case there might be an increase in heart rate or your blood pressure level. Over time, stress can cause damage to the blood vessels in your heart and increase your risk of sudden stroke or heart attack.

3. Overdoing it on salt
Excessive sodium can spike your blood pressure thereby making your more vulnerable to heart conditions. Processed foods like potato chips, canned vegetables, frozen meals and meats contain a fair amount of sodium which can have an adverse effect on your heart. 4. Not getting enough sleep
