You should go for ECG to rule out any cardiac problem. But I don't think it is a cardiac problem. It might be due to cervical so also consult a nearby orthopaedic

Many other reasons could be there for chest pain which are not related to heart. But still there are some chances you may have some by birth heart defects like asd, vsd etc. Proper investigations are needed.

Pain in chest can happen because of reflux which our doctor is calling aciditiy. Reflux can cause stress leading to palpitation where in you feel your heart beats. Nowadays, a life full of stress, anxiety and unhealthy lifestyle is causing a lot of young heart attacks and strokes. Even though you have a family predisposition to heart disease you can prevent it by actively working against the factors contributing to heart disease. Regular checkups, regular exercise, balanced diet and reducing stress by mindfulness techniques can go a long way in protection yourself. Tips to reduce anxiety and stress 1. Sleep well and regular. Irregular sleep can have some serious consequences. It affects both our physical health and also contributes to anxiety and stress. Anxiety as such also leads to disruptions in sleep. When feeling anxious, always try to get a full 7 to 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep and it can work wonders to improve your condition. 2. Always keep smiling. Take a quick break in between your hectic work to get some laughs with your friends. Laughter can reduce depression and anxiety and has proven benefits. 3. Tidy up your living space or workspace. Keep your things clean and clutter-free. That helps us think clear and thus reducing levels of anxiety. 4. Say thank you often. Expressing your thanks for something helps reduce anxiety. 5. Eat smart. Eating more of foods which are rich in vitamin b and omega-3 fatty acids and also healthy whole grain carbs. Vitamin b contributes to good mental health. While omega 3 fatty acids help with both depression and anxiety. Whole grain foods boost serotonin and helps us remain poised. Eating high-sugar content food and processed foods can increase levels of anxiety. 6. Learn to breathe well and relax. Short, shallow breaths arise when you are tensed. Yoga is also very effective to take off stress from the body and mind by deep relaxation and breathing techniques. 8. Chill and be silent. Reduce the noise and clutter talk that contributes to anxiety. Find time for yourself and be alone to muse upon your own matters without anyone disturbing you. 9. Worry. Yes, we can cause ourselves to freak out, but only for a certain amount of time. When something weighs heavily on your mind, or you believe something terrible is most definitely going to occur, commit to only creating that worry for 20 minutes. Think of all the possible outcomes of the scenario, figure out some game plans, and then quit thinking about it after 20 minutes go by. Have a friend call after the allotted time has passed to avoid the temptation of going over the time limit. Or schedule some of that playtime right afterward. 10. Plan for the future but do not worry about it. Make time tables and to-do lists so that you will not be worried about finishing stuff and so that you can increase your productivity. 11. Be positive. When you feel anxious, train your mind to think and feel positive and give reinforcement to yourself that you can handle any situation. This will significantly reduce your stress and anxiety symptoms. 12. Smell relaxing stuff. Go out to your garden. Smell a fresh rose. Take a deep breathe and allow the relaxation to course through your whole body. You can also use relaxing aroma therapy and use it indoors. 13. Go out and spend time with your friends and family. Spend time with your pets social support reduces anxiety and stress to such a great extent that it is almost always bearable. So next time you get on your nerves, go out with your friends, chat with them, watch a movie, spend some time watching the waves in the beach with your partner, talk to your siblings.

Since after my TB treatment was over my uric acid varies at 6 ~7.5 and also RBC count remains 5.36 both values doesn't lower much. Apart that I am having high cholesterol levels are high as follows Total Cholesterol - 234. LDL - 164.

Dear Cholesterol is made in liver as per body requirement. Food doesnot alter this. So relax. Please reduce protein intake. Light exercise pranayam yoga pure veg diet, lotvif fruits and green vegetables will help. Cap Reimmugen Ayurvedic medicine 2-2 will help. Vm.

Chest pain until otherwise proved should be treated for heart disease only. So see a good doctor as early as possible. Once heart is ruled out, then you can think of other causes. Other causes could be acidity, rib joint pain, muscular pain gas etc.

None whatsoever unless you have high cholesterol levels or obese, where you should avoid red meat especially or non veg cooked in oil or butter and prefer barbecued fish or skinned chicken.

Try to avoid heavy, spicy, oily, fried meals - do walking exercises daily. Sometimes gas gets trapped in abdomen and resembles heart problems. If ecg - bp and other issues are normal then probablitiy of gas is more prompt.

High Blood Pressure Treatment in Ayurveda

Hi lybrate user-pain on the left side of the chest is an important symptom which indicates a number of things but the most dangerous of them is heart-attack. Heart-attack comes with lots of associated symptoms as well and not just chest pain. A left-sided chest pain which is associated with radiation to the left arm, palpitation, sweating, dizziness, blackout, breathlessness, lightheadedness - is more indicative of a heart attack. It's not necessary that all these associated symptoms will definitely occur in a patient of heart attack. But whenever these associated symptoms occur-they do definitely bring us closer to the clue that the chest pain is of cardiac in origin. Moreover any chest pain that is associated with increased pain on touching or pressurising a localised part on the chest wall is more indicative of a musculoskeletal chest pain. So please just don't think about heart attack and try to rationalise your symptoms. I hope my answer helps you. Regards.

Dear lybrate-user, you are dependent on alcohol. Alcohol is a ready made sugar/glucose, fully digested. It will difficult for you to control your blood sugar level if you continue drinking. Cholesterol is produced in the body by liver. Probably your liver is damaged causing cholesterol problems. High creatinine level shows your kidneys are under protest. They may give up if you don't get treated. It is better for you to give up alcohol completely. It can not be done by yourself at home. It will have withdrawal symptoms which needs treatment in a hospital for at least 10-14 days. During detoxification itself your sugar, cholesterol and kidneys can be repaired with appropriate drips and tablets. You are still young. I think your children may be still dependent on you. Probably your parents may not be able to support. So there is an urgent need for you give up alcohol in a hospital and get treated for other medical problems. All the best.
