I am 39 years old, I have two problem since childhood one is migraine and second is pain in right leg.
I am giving some health tips for Migraine headache ?1.You can turn off light for some time ?2.Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. ?Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. ?Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. ? ?3.Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect. ?4.You can take Tea or coffee( but not excess) 5.Sleep well Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep. Establish regular sleep hours. ?Minimize distractions. ?Your eating habits can influence your migraines. ?Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals. Fasting increases the risk of migraines Avoid foods that trigger migraines kindly consult Physician for further management LEG PAIN: 1.You can take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg one tablet stat after food 2.You Can do Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. Anaemia 3. physical exertion and any Trauma 4. lack of protein in Diet 5. any infection present on leg or foot 6. muscle weakness 7 abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise 8. Vit D and Calcium Deficiency

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

Hello Ly brate User, Leg pain is a common problem, experienced by people of all ages. Pain can range from a dull ache to severe stabbing sensations. It can occur in one or both legs. Some leg pain may be simply uncomfortable and annoying, whereas severe pain can affect your mobility or make it difficult to put weight on your leg. Other symptoms may include weakness, numbness or a tingling sensation. There are various causes of leg pain. Most commonly, pain is due to a cramp, muscle spasm, muscle fatigue, nutritional deficiencies, dehydration or standing for a long time. Please follow following tip; Another effective home remedy for leg pain is turmeric, which has antioxidant as well as anti-inflammatory properties. The compound curcumin in turmeric inhibits a number of different molecules that play a role in inflammation and pain. Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder with enough warm sesame oil to make a paste. Apply it on the affected area and rub gently. Wait 30 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. Do this twice daily as needed. Also, drink a glass of hot turmeric milk once or twice daily. Another option is to take turmeric as a dietary supplement, but only under your doctor’s guidance. Note: If you take blood-thinning medicine, consult your doctor before taking turmeric as a medicine. If you need any help further, please consult me privately. As you know, Acupuncture works great for your problem also.

I have a suspecious fracture at the base of metatarsal bone of right 5th toe.Now I wear a dyna crepe bandage.Is it safe for me.Now what I am doing please. Suggest

If u have a fracture base of 5th metatarsal, u should get a plaster along with calcium and vitamin D supplements and some painkillers temporarily. Moreover u need to keep your leg elevated above hip level most of the time.

Backs are stabbed by the postural deformities and irregular lifestyle. In our hectic lifestyle, we come accross many wrong postures everyday which are hampering our back and lifestyle in day to day life and this is causing back pains to all of us.

These might be the luxurious couches or the uncomfortable chairs in office or just a simple foot-slip in bathroom, anything can cause this kind of distress or pain. Generally all back pains start very mildly and these keep on aggravating with the time and start causing different problems in life. If we look at the data from the different pharmacies, pain killers are most commonly sold for back pain. We all keep on taking these painkillers to relieve from the pain, but we never understand and believe that these are some solution.

Ayurveda treats all types of back pains and also have researched that there are several causes behind the back pain. In some cases, we all fee that …ohh!! this cannot be the cause of the back pain! Here is the list of the reasons-

  • You comfortable Sofa or chair, on which you slouch daily: this deforms your back muscles and also makes you a patient of spondylosis.
  • Your habits of walking very fast- chances of injury are very high in such cases.
  • Heavy intake of dry foods in other language lack of proper unctuousness which can maintain the smoothness of your muscles and keep the rigidity away from you.
  • Bad digestion and excess of intestinal gases in your body.
  • A heavy sneeze, which you supressed because you were sitting somewhere in a meeting?
  • A wrong way to pick the weight.
  • Postural irregularities during pregnancy
  • History of injury or accident

These are most common causes we have found in different patients but in almost all the cases we have found that this is the stiffness of the back muscles, which caused the problem. To give an add on many of the patients, just get into bed on recommendation of some physicians and this Bed-Rest proved BAD for most of them, because it increased the stiffness of the back over all.

Regular use of painkillers might give us a pleasant feeling of- “absence of pain” for a while but the same pain killer keep on worsening the health regularly and after years we feel- cheated, because we used the painkillers to just get rid of a sensation. We at Sukhayu Ayurveda are treating the cases of Back Pain since years. Among all these cases, if we talk scientifically, there were many patients of-

  • Protrusion of Intervertebral Disc
  • Herniated Disc
  • Bulged disc
  • Annular Ligament Tear
  • Ruptured Disc
  • Degenerative Disc Disorder
  • Scoliosis/Kyphosis
  • Spondylosis and Spondylitis along with Spondylolisthesis.

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

You need to do stretching of your leg muscles before start playing. Also start doing some back exercises to strenghten your muscles. Your muscles might not be able to take up the load during your playing activity. Do adequate warm up and stretching before you start playing.

Massage the knee with eucalyptus oil and give hot water fomentation. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Also take calcium tablets for a limited period 2 months consult after 5 days.

Hi. Multiple dislocations of shoulder is perfectly curable. I don't know whether you have shoulder specialist in allahabad. It needs to be treated by shoulder specialist orthopedic surgeon. There is no other option except surgery. You can keep trying other methods till you are tired but more than 3 dislocations means that joint will get damaged more and more with every dislocation.

Hi my name is vinay I want to ask a question. My mother is suffered from back pain so what can I do in this situation.
I understand your concern for your mother. We are coming across lot of females complaining of back pain these days. Here could be many reasons for back pain. Many of the problems occur for which we are not aware. Let me recommend you the treatment as well as the precautions you can tell her to do at home to get away her backache. Precautions: 1. Avoid forward bending, if required then bend your knees first and then bend forward. 2. Avoid weight lifting. 3. Sit in chairs or car seats with proper back support. 4. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back like sidelying. 5. Get enough vit d from sun as vit d keep bones strong including spine, 6. Drink plenty of water to enhance the inter vertebral disks 7. Avoid standing in the one position for a long time. 8. Try to sleep in a position that helps you maintain the curve in your back. Treatment- 1. Apply ice or heat which ever suits you directly to the area of low back pain will decrease swelling and inflammation, and ease your discomfort. Apply it for 10 to 15 minutes only. 2. Relaxing for 5 minutes after ice or heat treatment. Massage - ask someone to massage your painful area using fingers or thumb. Massage using kneading technique. Slightly press the thumb and start rotating as it helps to induce relaxation, relieve pain, and reduce levels of stress chemicals, such as cortisol and noradrenaline. It will give you pain relief for time being. 3. After massage again relax for 5 min and apply any pain relieving ointment eg - volini or oraflame gel etc. Make sure not to do massage with the gel, it should not penetrate the body. Just a topical application of gel should be done. 4. Again relax your body for 5 minutes and perform some normal back extension and hamstring stretching exercises to get relief from your pain. While performing exercises if pain occurs then would recommend you to stop doing exercise. Massage or slightly rub the painful area and consult your near by physio to diagnose the actual cause of the pain as he/she can guide you proper exercise plan which will be beneficial for you after checking grade of your back pain. For any doubt please inform. Best regards.

Hi, I have pain in my left hip and inner side of thigh less at rest and increasing on activity from past 8 months. Have got MRI done 5 months back and also 2 nd MRI one month back. Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.
