My wife often complains pain in her elbows and knee joints. I had her ASO test done and the result was 1050 IU/ml. She is 28. Her parents and one of her sibling have history of joint pain, rheumatism. My wife has not taken any kind of medication or therapy regarding this in her life. Please help.

Please dont treat her for rheumatic heart disease. Aso is a misused test and patients are treated long term for no reasons. If she has pain and swelling in the elbow and knee joints, I would suggest you visit a rheumatologist and get it sorted out. Dont go on pencillin.

It may be due to initial stage of arthritis. Get a check up done that includes x ray/bone scan, blood tests to check rh factor, uric acid, tsh, calcium and vitamin levels. But don't get it done just like that, consult a doctor to take proper prescription/referral. If, along with pain there is numbness/tingling/burning sensation in hands, there might be nerve compression, so tell your symptoms properly during medical check up. Depending on diagnosis, exact treatment can be started. Physiotherapy can be of great help coz it doesn't include any medications and so no side effects.

There is sweet pain in the left bone of neck it is happening at the duration of 2 or 3 months and it being for whole day and night .after consuming a pain killer like I bruphene it become relaxed. Other wise it can take maximum 3 days to cure. What can be the problem I didn't understand .please tell some suggestions precautions and medicine for curing it permanently.

Hi pain killers are just temporary .in Ayurveda we do have very good and effective treatment s. Consult and do neck exercises plus maintain body posture and neck position. And I need to know more details. Hope D's will help you.

Good morning library user please tell does your shoulder pains only while driving or it pains afterwards also please check your position while driving make seat adjustment so that your hand will be in a proper and relax position start doing some neck and shoulder stretching exercises if pain continues then do some physio therapy sessions and let us know.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Dear friend, it's good that you want to do something for fitness, but alas, This is very wrong approach towards fitness. You have to be fit to play any game. You can't become fit by playing game. It increases chances of injury. We call people like you - weekend warriors. You have highest chances of sports injuries. Instead of weekend bonanza, you should spare some time regularly. Even 20 minutes daily or alternate day will be sufficient!

Hi Male 78 years. Got my dentures fixed some 14 years. My dentures has given no problem whatsoever since fixing. However, of late, I often get blisters on tongue, cheeks, lips, bite tongue/lips.
