Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

I am suffering severe leg and knee pain what should I do, I take medicine in kottakal ayurvedha but still it was not cure.

Can be solved through acupressure/ acupuncture easily. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem eat nutritious food including green vegetables, dairy products fruits do regular exercise. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Consult after 5 days.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Reduced pain and swelling. 3 Start with knee exercises under guidance of Physiotherapist. 4. Don't sit on floor. 5. Wear sports shoes. 6. Take methylcobalmine supplement, Omega 3 supplement and Glucosamine supplement for 2 month. 7. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 8. Wear knee cap or knee brace.

Here are the top three signs that indicate you are suffering from calcium deficiency.

  1. Difficulty in sleeping: Sleep is essential for your bone health and calcium is directly associated with your sleep cycle. The level of calcium in your bones rises and falls when you are asleep and it reaches its peak when you are in deep slumber. This indicates that when you are unable to sleep properly, it is a warning sign of calcium deficiency. There are various researches that have confirmed, that by increasing the level of calcium, it is possible to restore the normal sleep cycle of an individual. This is also related to the role that calcium plays in the production of a sleep hormone called melatonin. When the calcium content in the body is really low, this hormone is not produced, thus, making it difficult for a person to sleep.
  2. Difficulty in losing extra pounds: Yet another frustrating aspect of any individual’s life is the inability to shed off excess pounds. Chronic calcium deficiency can lead to life-threatening diseases like rickets, osteopenia, and even osteoporosis. Yes ofcourse by improving strength of lower back, hip, knee and ankle joints but only then if you having pain occasionally or not regular pain. In case you have untorleable pain, affecting your routein and dependent on others for walk or daily activities then you should replace it as soon as possible to make life so easy and comfortable. Prevent your other joints like, knee or ankle overstressed. You can take physiotherapy treatment along with regular basis exercises of joints until you are not prepared for surgery.

What exactly is a spine block injection? Will it work long-term for low back pain due to disc problems?
Hello lybrate user, spine block injections are different types of injections which target the pain generating sites. The rationale is to inject an anesthetic agent (block the nerves which sense pain) into the structures which are generating pain. This can be used for diagnosis of or confirmation of a painful structure suspected to be the pain generator. This can also be used for treatment of painful structures, but the relief is mostly for a short term, 3 to 4 months usually. You might also require multiple injections for a longer duration of relief. Some surgeons use a steroid medication for injection as well. This is mainly to decrease the inflammatory component irritating the nerve roots. Steroid injections also give a temporary relief but can have a lasting effect if inflammatory component is the major culprit compared to a mechanical compression of the nerves. But, the decision making for use of injections is quite complex and I would suggest you to consult a spine surgeon experienced in injection techniques for a complete clinical assessment and the right injection for you. Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on affected part and massage then give hot fomentation. Take maha yograj guggul 1-1 twice a day. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid spicy food, Junk food, Fermented food, Tea, Coffee. Do pranayama early morning. Do exercise. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time.

Your back muscles had been got stiff due to back injury. Prolonged pain cause muscle weakness. Take physiotherapy treatment for reducing pain and stiffness. Once pain reduced start regular back strengthen exercises to build strong muscles under qualified physio guidance.
