You are very young and must be leading an active life. If you exercise regularly and keep a check on your diet, there is no reason why you should not lose weight. Avoid rice, potatoes, sweets and fried food. Take brisk morning walk. If you find these measures helpful, revert for diet plan and blood tests if needed.

Hi. Itchy scalp can be due to dandruff, dry scalp, lice or may be due to some other scalp condition. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Badiaga 200, Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Anti-Dandruff shampoo and Anti-Dandruff oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Hello, If pregnancy test is negative then you may wait for another week to allow your menses to start and if not then can opt for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones.

Want to lose weight without exercising?

Drink a glass of water or a cup of herbal tea before each meal or two just in case.

Count calories. Dieting for weight loss comes down to simple addition — you have to burn more calories than you're taking in. Figure out the calories in the items you regularly eat, and add it up at the end of each day; or, download a food tracking app and be sure to enter what you've eaten after each meal

Eat foods that take a while to digest. Eating items that take longer to break down will help you feel full for longer, as well as keeping your metabolism busy. Focus on foods that are high in fiber, such as
Certain fruits (including raspberries, pears and apples)
Vegetables (including peas, artichokes and broccoli)
Nuts and legumes (such as beans, almonds and lentils)
Grains (like whole-wheat spaghetti, bran flakes and barley)
4)Take smaller bites. When you're eating, try to avoid putting large bites into your mouth. Instead, divide your meal into more morsels. This forces you to eat more slowly, which in turn can stretch out your meal and make it easier for you to identify when you're full.

Eat breakfast.

Contrary to a popular misconception, you won't lose more weight if you skip this meal. In fact, studies indicate that eating breakfast jump starts your metabolism and gets it working for the day.Giving your metabolism something to do first thing in the morning gets it burning calories. When you don't eat for long periods of time, your body functions as if you're fasting because food is scarce, and accordingly burns less energy.
Eat something that contains fiber or protein. It takes longer to break down these foods than it takes to burn sugary foods with lots of carbohydrates. Try foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, and peanut butter.
Eat at regular intervals.

If you can, try to have your meals around the same time each day. Eating on a regular schedule helps your body settle into a pattern that allows it to burn the right amount of calories. If your eating habits are unpredictable or you're prone to skipping meals, your body will tend to hang onto calories for an emergency.
A regular food schedule can also help you mentally control your eating. If you have a set mealtime to look forward to, you can give yourself an exact timetable for delaying gratification.

Don't eat in front of the TV or computer.

If eating while you watch television or computer, you might find that you're not mentally engaged in eating. Instead, turn off the tube and try to savor each bite as you take it. When you're hungry later, you'll be able to remember eating more clearly.
Control stress eating. Stress and anxiety can lead cause weight gain because often people will eat their feelings. Eating when you're not actually hungry adds a ton of unnecessary calories to your diet that can easily be cut out by relieving stress
Find another outlet. Instead of eating for comfort, do something like meditating, exercising, playing a musical instrument, or reading.
Get enough sleep. Sleep deprivation can lead to feeling more stressed and, accordingly, hungrier during the day. Aim for at least seven hours a night.[4]
Clear your mind before you eat. Take a few deep breaths and slow your heart rate before you eat. Chew slowly, and and take a few breaths between bites.

Avoid eating late at night.

Because your body doesn't burn a lot of calories while you're asleep, you're more likely to hang onto whatever you eat before bed. Try these tips for fighting off the nighttime munchies:
Set a deadline. It should be at least two hours before you go to bed, if not three. Once you've settled on it, consider it the point of no return — if you want a snack, it has to be before 8:00.
Drink herbal tea instead. If you can't get by without doing something, brew a cup of herbal tea and sip it slowly before you go to bed. It should have very few calories (if any), and it will help your stomach feel full.

Some kind of menstrual irregularity, often accompanied by pain in lower abdomen is one of the most common presenting complaints about a gynecologist.

An irregular period is generally a symptom of some hormonal imbalance (estrogen and progesterone) in the body and is commonly encountered in young girls at the time of menarche ( a time when a girl starts to have the menstrual cycle) and around menopause. Menstrual irregularity can also be seen immediately after childbirth or after removal of intrauterine contraceptive device (iucd). Other common causes include thyroid gland dysfunctions, the presence of fibroids or polyps inside the uterus and excessive stress, including examination stress.

It is important to know a few more important details in order to evaluate and understand the same and make any recommendations. These include-

  • Duration of menstrual irregularity
  • Kind of irregularity- the interval between two cycles, amount of blood flow and no of days of flow.
  • Any associated pain in lower abdomen.
  • Associated weight gain, a growth of excessive facial hair or discharge from nipples.



Early assessment of menstrual disorders also requires an ultrasound scan of the lower abdomen to assess the condition of uterus and ovaries, specifically to rule out polycystic ovaries, and estimation of following hormone levels in the body - tsh, fsh, lh, prolactin and testosterone. These blood tests should be done on the second or third day of the periods.

The women experiencing menstrual irregularities should try and manage their weight so as to maintain a bmi of less than 25 kg/m2.

A healthy lifestyle including intake of a balanced diet, moderate exercise and avoiding any stress are very useful simple steps every woman can take on their own. In cases with severe irregularity, the woman may be required to get rid of the iucd, start a birth control pill to regulate the sex hormone levels during cycle and treatment for thyroid dysfunctions, if required.

Lybrate-user regards from me. Diabetes is of two types. Insulin dependent and non insulin dependent. Bgr34 is a ayurvedic medicine for non insulin dependent only. If you use it regularly it may lessen your dose of allopathic medicine. You should follow dietary restrictions properly and should do 40 min walk daily. Thanks.

Please don't worry do meditation regularly so you won't feel stressed do yogasanas daily so that you feel active and always fresh check your blood pressure at nearby physician during stress take badam pak 1tsf 2 times with milk regularly.

Sugar free are not a good option, especially in someone so young. Please avoid sugar free. It is better to avoid sugar all together. If at all you. Have to take, sugar can be taken in small quantities.

Acne may be due to hormonal changes in your skin at this age, oily or greasy scalp or face, clogged pores, bacterial infection etc. What all creams have you used? sometimes some creams may be causing acne problem. A course of tablets and creams is needed for treating your problem depending upon the grade of your acne and your skin type, as different type of acne require different types of treatment. A sebum regulating face wash, will be helpful. A non comedogenic sunscreen should be used. Drink plenty of water daily and also avoid hair oil application" please put up 2-3 clear pictures in natural light of the affected area for better evaluation and guidance regards!

If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run, or spend some time doing other enjoyable physical activities. 4. Take a timeout Give yourself short breaks during times of the day that tend to be stressful. A few moments of quiet time might help you feel better prepared to handle what's ahead without getting irritated or angry. 5. Identify possible solutions Instead of focusing on what made you mad, work on resolving the issue at hand. Remind yourself that anger won't fix anything and might only make it worse.

Yes, there is a scope. Take daal rice more. Use cow ghee n milk. Avoid over eating start massage with til oil in morning, after that, do exercise whatever you want then bath take sunbath focus in yourself avoid stress anger fear take ajvayan 1 tsp after meal. Start chyavanprash in morning. These are also helps in height increase. However healthy diets will help you. Do exercise & yoga. Esp. Tadashana, suryanamaskar, chakrasahana. In medicine you can use ashvagandha & akkalkaro.

Naturally our teeth colour ranges from pearly white to pale yellow so everyone cannot hv white teeth. Get scalling n polishing done by dentist. If you r not happy with your teeth shade later, you can get bleaching done by dentist which'll lighten your teeth by 2-3 shades. Alternatively you can use a teeth whitening toothpaste such as snowdent after scalling. Whitening gels used daily along with customized dental trays provided by dentist r also available in the market. Avoid heavily coloured foods, tea n coffee, cool drinks, smoking n tobacco products as they stain teeth.

Maintain input out put ratio. Whatever you eat calculate calories that called input calories after that do exercise and burn some calories that is out put calories. Eat less exercise more weight will loos have a barley soup at dinner have a dinner at 8.00pm and sleep at 10---11.00pm. Avoid rice at night.
