By this age baby must have started walking a few steps. Either he has no been trained even to stand or there is some developmental problem. Get him assessed by pediatrician. His wt is near to normal for his age. Give him good nourishing home made diet rich in protein, green vegetable and fruits.

Hello, It so happens, often due to undeveloped digestives system of a baby. Give her homoeopathic medicine:@.Aloe sac 30-2 drops, thrice. You have to be conscious with regards your dietary habits if you breastfeed your baby. Avoid, junkfood, cold intake. Tk, care.

I feel she is stressed and have fear of telling the truth, may be she was not treated well, whenever she had told truth in past. Respect her and have a open communication with her or This is Stress which she is expressing through lying. If not possible by yourself then meet some Psychotherapist/Life coach to achieve quality life. U may connect me privately, as i am Stress Management Super-specialist and Life coach. Trust me, she will be fine.

Iron deficiency, constipation and soreness are some of the things you may suffer, while expending more energy and needing more calcium. Avoid bacteria from unwashed vegetables, unpasteurised milk, unfiltered water or uncooked meats. The mother needs extra energy, at least in the first six months, because she will be nursing the baby more often. So she needs to eat more calories, which will come from small meals, which are rich in proteins — nuts, daals and legumes. If you are a non-vegetarian, don't switch to a leafy vegetarian meal instantly. This will cause you more harm than good. Eat shredded meat in soups and broths without too much spice or oil. Pump iron Since a new mother suffers from loss of blood, her iron levels could be precariously balanced. A little spinach can go a long way.Incorporate spinach in everything such as daal, chappati dough and even in chicken curry. Milk the calcium It goes without saying that you’ll need lots of calcium so that the baby can use the cafeteria uninterrupted. If you are lactose intolerant, and can’t drink milk or eat milk products, go for curd.Garden cress seeds (aleev or haleem), are a rich source for calcium. Traditionally, these are made into sugar-rich ladoos. If you are being careful about sugar, make a haleem kheer. Water yourself There’s not much you can do to artificially stimulate breast milk, other than drink lots of fluids. Also, new mothers tend to be a little scared of the pain and resist passing urine or stools, which can result in constipation. Ordinarily, this can be resolved by medication. ingesting fluids by drinking lots of soup, coconut water, broths, whole fruits, fresh fruit juices and milkshakes that are also easier to eat for the harried mother Yoghurt is not only a stool softener but also has the probiotics essential for keeping Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) away. Edible gum balls (dink ladoos) are a good laxative because of their combination of ghee, edible gum and nuts. FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE

Babies need complementary solid foods along with breastmilk after the age of six months. You can start by including curd, fruits like banana, mashed papaya, veggies like mashed potatoes. The food that you give to your baby should preferably be home cooked and should have a thick, soft consistency.

My son is 9 years. He is 145 cm 70 kg. His body is as though it is full of fluids. Right from his birth his weight has been increasing steadily. He is always watching TV mobile and computer. He never goes out and plays. Please suggest how to reduce his weight.

Diploma In Diet & Nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Hyderabad
1. Get his basic comprehensive tests done including Thyroid. Currently his BMI is 33+ which is on Obese category. 2. If there is no biological issue then you have to take care of diet + daily exercise. 3. He needs to be on a 1500 calories diet. 4. Remove all junk food, biscuits, chocolates, sweets from home, fridge, cupboards. 5. Everyone at home must switch to simple natural foods, with more salads and fruits. This is important that whole family follows one diet. 6. No ordering from outside except once a week. 7. For two hours in the evening shut down all Cable TV, Net, Phones everything and family or whoever is at home must move out to play / excercise. 8. Do not criticize the boy or call any names. He needs support, guidance and encouragement. 9. It is not his problem alone, the whole family must rise to this challenge and work together to resolve this issue. 10. Visit a physician + a dietitian and begin the process of change. 11. Do not go/look for short cuts like 'magic weight loss' pills / teas/ coffee / belts / shakes. None of that works. 12. Only a sensible, natural lifestyle change will work. Everyone in the family needs to switch to better habits and take your boy along in this change.
