Immediate consult your physician. Also you need to follow certain dietary changes. About 80% of all kidney stones are composed of calcium and other minerals, usually a combination of calcium and oxalate. In some cases dietary adjustments help to prevent the recurrence of these types of stones. Increase fluid intake: this is the most important preventive measure for all patients who develop kidney stones. It hinders the formation of stones by diluting the urine. The biggest portion of calcium in the diet comes from milk and foods made from large amounts of milk, such as cheeses and yogurt, dark greeny vegetables. Too much may cause calcium stones. Sugar, sodium, and animal protein: it has been found that too much of these may also aggravate the development of calcium or calcium oxalate stones. A diet high in animal protein affects certain minerals in the urine that may promote the formation of kidney stones. Insoluble fiber also speeds up movement of substances through the intestine, so there will be less time for calcium to be absorbed. When vitamin c is used by the body, oxalate is produced. Take personalised expert dietary advice. Thanku.

You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I hope you follow them in your life andstay healthy. 7. You can take gokshur tablets of himalaya for 3 months. It definitely get relief from kidney stones.

Urine infection can be diagnosed by routine examination of urine. Early morning midstream sample is best. In urine infection other common symptoms are increased frequency and urgency along with burning while micturition. Common site is just below the umbilicus. In your case it may be due to some other cause also, so please consult a physician for proper evaluation. Regards.

Following the classical way, we can assert that normal GFR values are largely over 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 in healthy subjects, at least before the age of 70 years. However, we know that GFR physiologically decreases with age, and in adults older than 70 years, values below 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 could be considered normal. A normal e GFR is 60 or more. If your e GFR is less than 60 for three months or more, your kidneys may not be working well. If you e GFR is below 15, you may need to start dialysis or have a kidney transplant. Use this scale to see what your eGFR may mean. Your values are normal and your kidney is fine

At the age of 38 prostate does not seem to be the cause. It is more likely to be in the urethra where the internal mucosa might have been inflammed due to infection or some trauma. Was there any suggestion of urinary stone in the past. A small stone might have passed out in the stream 20 days back leaving the urinary tract abraded which is causing this pain. This can be demonstrated by a cystoscopic examination but not advisable at present. There must be some urinary antibacterial and antispasmodic drug prescribed by aiims doctor. If yes continue for some days or you may siscuss further on lybrate asking a private question.
