Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. Kindly consult a physician & dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Better Consult a Dentist for check up. If it is a cavity then the pain killer will not help. The more you will wait to more it will become bad.

Day before yesterday I went to the doctor for some tongue issue, she gave me hexigel and said me I have tongue ulcer, now the upper surface of my tongue had become little brown, is it anything related to hexigel, if not then why it became brown.

General Physician, Alappuzha
The colour turning to brown is a part of infection in the ulcer adn it will go once the ulcer heals with this hexigel.

Hi I would like to know about the charges for tooth scaling and how frequent it is required.
Charges for scaling who is depend upon the amount of stains and deposits your teeth have and will also depend upon area and the clinic that you opt for usually somewhere between 800 to 2000 should be good enough and duration of getting it done is somewhere around 1 year if you brush properly.
