Listerine is not a good idea. Look for other causes of halitosis. Possible causes tonsils and adenoids. Caries, constipation.

Could be allergy, so stop using talcum powder or allergens. If discharge is yellow or red eyes. Consult ophthalmologist.

Take precautions, avoid exposure to crowds, cold items. In case of recurrent cold and cough check with your pediatrician for childhood asthma, allergy.
