It depends where the stone is. If its in a kidney then your pain is not related to the stone but if its in the ureter then it could be .if its a ureteric stone it can be managed medically or endoscopically.

This is a very common situation and your mother will require investigations for her medical condition. Weight reduction, bland diet along with plenty of fluids and salt restriction will benefit her. She will also require a cardiac checkup and renal checkup. Abdominal sonography will throw more light on the size and location of the stones, based on which further treatment can be suggested.

Dear sir I AM taking insulin morning 45units and night 35 units Present report fasting sugar 190 and after meals 305 Urine sugar.

MBBS, CCEBDM, Diploma in Diabetology
Endocrinologist, Hubli-Dharwad
Mr. The blood sugar readings show that diabetes is not in control. When in control fasting should be near 100 mg, pp should be 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7. Achieving good sugar control is absolutely essential, otherwise various long term complications of diabetes will start appearing much early. This condition affects glucose, fat and protein metabolism. Plus small and large blood vessels, this affects eyes, (retina), kidneys, nerves, lower limbs and heart. So please see that your sugar levels are well controlled.

Sir I am 24 year old and I had stone problem. And I had gone through operations 2 times for stone. One surgery for ureter stone which is done by leaser and second for kidney stone. So now what precautions I should take so that in future stone problem will not come to me.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Avoid stone-forming foods: Beets, chocolate, spinach, rhubarb, tea, and most nuts they are rich in oxalate, and colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones. Avoid meat , chicken and other nonveg items. Take less salt and drink 3 litre water per day.avoid milk products. Further guidance can be done if we know the type of renal stone you have. This can be identified by stone analysis of the passed stone.
