Skin getting discolored Dear sir/mam why my skin is getting discolored since 1 years I am facing this problem and skin is continuously getting discolored.

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Bangalore
Hi Sabir., Healthy skin is coated in a thin layer of natural lipids, or fatty substances. They keep in moisture, leaving the skin soft and supple.Usually, something in the environment - or something you're doing to your skin - is stripping away these fatty oils, leaving your skin unprotected. Less often, the cause is internal; a health condition, menopause or genetic predisposition is making your skin dry out and discoloured. AYURVEDA refers this condition as Vyanga.,so here by i am advicing some medication along with some general tips to follow. Medication:- 1.Regular massage with Tavishi(cold pressed coconut oil) daily twice a day, before bath and in before going to bed. 2.Regular applying a face mask.,Arjunadi churna-with honey and leave it for 30 mons 3.Applying kumkumadi lepam daily in the night as a night cream General Tips:- 1.Avoid:-a.Alcohol b.Junk food. c.Red meat. d.Dairy products. e.condiments. f.Citrus fruits. 2.Avoid spicy & more salty food. 3.Take plenty of fruits. 4.Clean & clear face at least 3 times a day.

The high vitamin C content in tomatoes is very helpful for acne prone skin Plus, the natural oil-absorbing acids in tomatoes help get rid of excess oil. Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin. Cut a tomato in half and rub it on your skin. low the juice to soak into your skin for at least 15 minutes. 1. Rinse your skin with cold water, pat it dry and apply a light oil-free moisturizer. Daily morning surya namaskar 10 times before 8am (to make your mind healthy) drink fruit juices in morning (if possible have fresh fruit juices). Do not remain hungry at all. Keep eating at least 2 biscuits at 2 hours of intervals. Drink more and more water. And half spoon of aloe vera juice extracted from plant leaves. All these are natural as well as best without any side effects products used for maintaining moisturized skin.

What should I do, could not understand, may please advise.

Dear Please get urine examination done to see if you are left with residual infection. Also see that you have usg done with postvoid residual urine, full bladder volume and wall thickness on full bladder with size of prostate. If you are constipated also solve that because passage of hard motions results in fissure giving you same complaints which will not respond to flow dart +. So let me see the reports and then only I can give you correct advice.

With all its moisturizing action, aloe vera is one of the most effective skin soothing agents. When you rub the gel over an itchy spot, it helps reduce the skin irritation in that area and provides quick relief from itching. Just break a leaf from the plant, cut it lengthwise using a knife and using a spoon, scoop out the jelly-like substance inside. Apply a little of this gel to the itchy area and leave it on for a few minutes.

For hair you have to apply oil at least 2/week and wash it more frequently. Water intake is very important as it supports minerals. If hair is getting dryer then apply conditioner after every wash consult trichologist.

Dear , scars following acne, infections, burns and trauma can be effectively treated by various techniques like dermabrasion. Chemical peels, fillers, lasers, radiosurgery or plastic surgery. The most preferred treatment would depend on type of skin and nature of scar (thickness, color, size, site, orientation etc.) at times, it may not be possible to totally eliminate the scar. However, we can almost certainly can improve it substantially and make it negligible. You are welcome to consult. Our center believes in honest, ethical and transparent medical practices. I have a skin problem where the tips of figures crack and later a hard skin comes over it am using Clobetasol and Salicylic acid ointment, but heals and cracks again. Do I need to take something orally with application.

Reasons for cracks: Pressure and frequent movements Standing for a long time hange in walking posture Summer heat Over or constant indulgence in water Unhygienic circumstances or conditions Unhealthy, dry scaly skin due to climate or diseases Thick dry scaly skin with loss of elasticity due to ageing – cracks have higher incidence over age Deformity of foot due to congenital problem or injury or diseases – Flat foot, calcaneal spurs, etc Diseases like diabetes, eczema and psoriasis can also contribute to cracked feet Deficiency of vitamins, minerals and zinc Obese (everyone can notice cracks on an elephant’s foot due to overweight and dryness)  Caring for skin Keep soles clean Wear soft, cushioned, comfortable shoes or slippers Wear socks to prevent friction Apply oil, if there is dryness Take rich sources of vitamins – fruits, dates, leafy vegetables etc. Avoid Walking bare foot Tight shoes Standing for a long time in water Contact of bleaching powder or any other chemical Using strong chemical soaps. Use Schwabe's B & T - Calendula and Aloe Vera Cream on your heels and hands. Keep yourself hydrated well, drink plenty of water. Never rub the area vigorously ever, any kind of friction increased the dryness.

Its not a problem. As your skin must be oily type. To reduce oily ness of face wash your face with plain water 4 - 5 times a day. Drink lots of water. So that skin cannot be dehydrated. Avoid oily heavy food.

I am a 23 years old male. My face got black due to journeys and sun heat. So what I do ?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Raw potato is an excellent remedy for sun tanned skin. Surprisingly, it is rich in vitamin c and hence, works as natural bleach. It also helps soothe sunburn. Peel the skin off two to three medium-sized potatoes, cut them into chunks and put them in a blender to make a paste. Apply the paste generously all over the affected skin area. Let it dry for about 30 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. For best results, can add some lemon juice to the potato paste before applying it.

My girlfriend telling me that she had pain in her breast today. Tell me answer please .

Fellow Breast Surgery (MUHS), DNB (General Surgery), MBBS
Oncologist, Aurangabad
Breast pain or mastalgia is a common complaint in women of reproductive age group. That is the childbearing age group. Due to effects of estrogen and progesterone, breasts become heavy and tender. Which can be perceived as pain. But this pain is usually just before the periods. Otherwise breast pain can be a symptom of lumps in breast. These lumps can cause dragging pain. These lumps could be non cancerous or cancerous. In this age group, 9 out of 10 lumps are benign that is non cancerous. A thorough history and a detailed physical examination is pivotal and usually conclusive. If required a sonohraphy breast could be done. Although very rare breast pain due to a cancer in breadt is still possible for this early age group. Keeping all this in mind, seeing a breast consultant appears the best choice and then after age of 20 start a monthly breast self exam.
