Most common cause of dark spot on penis is penile melanosis. Penile melanosis is well-defined, oval, brown to black, flat patch that can be seen on glans penis (penis head) or shaft of penis. Pigmented nevus (Moles) of the penis(Moles are quite common presentation on penis; they can be flat or slightly raised brown to dark color) Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) Another cause of black spots on penis is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is quite common. Minor infections like folliculitis, minor injuries or even irritation can leave black pigmentation after healing which will fade with time. These minor injuries or irritation can be so mild that you may not have noticed, all you notice is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. Gentle Stretching of Hand Muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist Exerciser.

Dear User I can understand how embarrassing it feels. But Parkinson's may be associated with dementia and behavioural changes. Its not that he suddenly lost his character. Instead this a manifestation of illness that needs assessment and treatment by a neuropsychiatrist.

My wife has met an accident 6 years ago. Now, she has head injury. I want remedy to general new braincells or repair old cells. She was bed ritten. What is medicine?

DM - Neurology
Neurologist, Hyderabad
As she has accident 6 yr back and still bed ridden that means she had got a very severe and now permanent damage to brain cell. It is very difficult to regenerate new brain cell with any medication (ayurvedic or homeopathic or allopathic). Some centers offering stem cell therapy to regenerate new brain cell. But it is costly and still in experimental stage.

My brother is having brain tumor from last 3.5 years. When it diagnosed it's of 2nd stage glioma. After that 1st surgery done. In that surgery he had loose the control of right side cause tumor is on left side. Then after 1 year again it occurs and he had a second surgery in hinduja hospital mumbai. After 2nd surgery radiation of 6 weeks also took with 5 cycles of chemotherapy tablets. After a 1.5 years again it occurs and surgery is done in July 2015. Now his tumor is in 4th stage. 4 cycle of chemotherapy have took after 3rd surgery. But from MRI doctor said that the tumor is not responding to the chemotherapy tablets. It's occurring and increasing. Please suggest actual condition and treatment if there is.

MCh Neurosuregry
Neurosurgeon, Sirsa
Hello it is unfortunate that your brother had to undergo repeated surgeries, but from the information you have given it appears that he has been treated properly as per the standard guidelines for these kind of tumors. Now I guess it is grade 4 not 4th stage of the tumor and grading not staging is used for these kind of brain tumor. Treatment now is difficult and depends on the neurological and general condition of the patient, findings on mri scan like location and extent of the tumor and expectations of the patient and relatives from the treatment etc. You have to understand that these tumors are difficult to cure completely and all we can do is to give best available treatment and care. Thank you.

Migrae migraine is more of a preventable disease than curative. You have to identify the triggers of your headache and avoid them. Avoid exposure to bright light, loud sound, sunlight. Avoid stress. Avoid chocolate and coffee. Have enough sleep. Drink 3-4 litres of water daily. I can prescribe you prophylactic medicines too if you want.

The antisynthetase syndrome associated with anti-jo-1-antibodies requires long-term immunosuppressive therapy in most patients. Whereas a complete clinical response of muscular symptoms is frequent, continued deterioration of the pulmonary system may occur despite immunosuppressive treatment, and may lead to fatal outcome. 2. Epilepsy cannot be cured completely, treatment helps to reduce symptoms.

I am 22y old female I am suffering migraine please tell some tips to avoid headache.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Migrain is a form of headache. The pain is usually throbbing, pulsating and bursting in character. At times, the pain is one sided or may involve the whole head. Such pain may last for hours or even days. It is often accompanied by other symptoms like nausea or vomiting. At the same time, there is increased sensitivity to light and sound. The causes of the problem may vary from one patient to another and so will the final choice of the homeopathic remedy will also vary. Prevention tips :- 1. Keep a headache diary: This may help you in identifying the trigger factors such as foods, activities and weather 2. Exercise regularly: Regular exercise, yoga and relaxation techniques such as meditation can also be of great help. 3. Keep regular sleep patterns: Sleep adequately. Sleeping too much or too less can trigger migraine. 4. Watch out what you eat:Foods such as caffeine and Chinese foods that contain monosodium glucamate and chocolates cheese are well-known trigger factors. 5. Eat regularly: Fasting is a very common trigger in many people. If it is such a factor for you too, make sure that you eat at regular intervals. ***Selection of Homoeopathic remedy depends upon the totality of your symptoms. So please share your symptoms.

Greetings from Bangladesh. Six months ago my Father (age 59) started to suffer from enormous headache and eye-ache on his left side with continue tears on his left eye. We consulted with an eye specialist, did the MRI of Brain Orbit and came to know that my father had a minor brain stroke 10 months ago and there is a possibility of a brain hemorrhage. He then referred to a Neurosurgeon, who evaluate the MRI report and after a quick check up we were told not to worry, there are no brain hemorrhage and regular medication will cure the problems. But the medicine is not working properly as His left eye became completely vision less and the unbearable headache continue. My father has diabetic and high blood pressure, which are in control with insulin and regular medication. He also had a urological surgery (Nephron Spearing Surgery indicating Right Renal Moss) earlier in 2014. This continuous headache and eye-ache is killing him day by day. What we suppose to do now?

Unilateral headache with eye pain eye discharge and vision loss with a brain stroke and if all possible local eye diseases are properly ruled out by the eye specialist, then some very serious conditions like vasculitis (especially temporal arteritis) needs to be ruled out, because if it is present it can be treated at this point and eye vision can be preserved. Some other conditions like ophthalmoplegic/ retinal migraine also to be considered and can be treated if diagnosed intime.

Hello. Firstly improve your diet. Eat healthy diet like all green veges and fresh pulpy fruits. Include salad in your diet. Its rich in fiber which keep energy level high and gives energy for daily work. Eat dry fruits also because its high in fiber and antioxidents and omega. Drink plenty of water. It also keep you energetic. You can take glucose powder also. Avoid fast food and cold drinks. Take 8 hrs good sleep to make you refresh for daily activities. All these will help you to cope up in daily life. Good luck.

It might be due to nerve compression at the vertebrae or can be due to decrease in blood supply of the brain in that particular region.
