Early morning-lukewarm water with lemon 1 glass tea without sugar + 2 biscuits breakfast-2 hard boiled eggs + 2 slice brown bread or 2 scrambled eggs + 1 slice brown bread+ skimmed milk 1 cup (240 gm) mid-morning-1 banana/1/2 cup melon/20 grapes lunch-brown rice 1 cup (195 gm) + chicken/dal (100 gm) + mixed vegetables 1/2 cup + salad 1 bowl evening-butter milk 1 cup dinner-1 roti + fish/ green leafy vegetables (50 gm) + lentils dal 1/2 cup+ raita 1 small bowl dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and spicy food. And constipation.

I am assuming you have done a urine pregnancy test before starting any treatment. As it appears you are having some bleeding please wait for 1 more week to see what happens. In the meantime use calpol tablets to help with pain.

For increasing your weight Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

This is endometrial shedding. Males do not have endometrium, so no shedding. Painful period could be due to various reasons, weakness, cramps etc.

For what purpose Tab. Rexipra 5 mg is used. I came to know that it is used depression and generalised anxiety. But I do not feel like depressed or anxiety. Can I avoid this medicine though recommended by doctor. I had stomach infection and had taken 14 days med. Therapy for h pylori infection. Just completed yesterday. Today my tongue is feeling sour and of a metallic taste as it was during the 14 days of ned. Taken. Is there nothing to worry?

Dear user. I can understand. Some anti anxiety and depression medicines are usually prescribed by doctors after or during medical therapy or surgical treatment. these are prescribed to avoid the ill effects of possible anxiety or depression. These prescription are normal and there is nothing to worry about that. Over and above, you will be asked to continue the dose for a period of 7 days or 15 days. then doctor will not compel you to continue it. Consult your doctor. Take care.

Sir I have back pain since 10 years when I drive bike 15 km over I got back pain when I work on computer I got back pain when I pull up heavy thing I got back pain I am a primary teacher at village so I have bike everyday 20 km up and 20 km down daily last week I done MRI but there no big issue on my back pain so please guide me to what to do Ayurveda treatment.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

I am diabetic for last 15 years and taking Trimetaday 2 twice a day I.e. 1 morning and one evening for last one year. My sugar level is not under control for 1 month . The fasting is 180 mg/dl and pp is 250 mg/dl. Please suggest what to do.

Antihistamines will be helpful to u to recover. Take steam inhalation twice daily. For nasal congestion, put nasal drops in night for 3 days. Takeadequate rest. Drink plenty of liquids. Eat healthy diet. Hope this helps u.

Hello, Your sister might be anaemic (low haemoglobin) and might be facing bowel irregularities. Low blood levels causes extreme uterine contractions during menses which result in pain which can also radiate to genital organs. Start Fal ghrita 1 tsp during breakfast. She will be alright.

The failure to gain normal weight generally has a few reasons like inappropriate dietary habit specifically low in protein, physical inactivity more than calorie intake and in cases were this factors are absent then most likely their is a problem in metabolism or some clinical conditions or some diseases like hyperthyroidism, protein malabsorption syndrome, etc. If you can share your more details than we can help you.

Hello. Excessive use of hair dryers, chemicals, going for hair straightening, rebonding, colouring - all of them damages the cuticles of the hair (Cuticles are the outer layer of the hair which protects the hair from external attack from dust, pollution, etc.). The damage done to the cuticle leads to dry, brittle, lifeless hair! Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness. But, in case there are areas of baldness which has gone smooth and shiny, you will have to choose an option of Hair Transplant along with theses medications!). Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

How to Get Rid of Hyperpigmentation

How to Get Rid of Hyperpigmentation

Ayurveda believes that the human body is made of 3 doshas kapha, pitta and vata. Most illnesses are a result of imbalance between these three doshas and dominance of patterns and symptoms of one of the three doshas.

Melanin is the pigment that gives the skin its color; higher the pigment levels, darker the complexion. Hyperpigmentation is caused due to excessive melanin deposition, commonly in certain areas of the skin like the face leading to blemishes and dark spots. In fair complexioned people, this could be an aesthetic issue, affecting the personality of the individual.

The following are some common causes of hyperpigmentation:

  1. Overexposure to sunlight: Direct exposure to sunlight without use of sunscreen.
  2. Environmental pollutants: Dust and other chemicals, especially in areas with high levels of pollution are more prone to hyperpigmentation.
  3. Cosmetic products: If they contain chemicals like silicone and hydroquinone, over a long period of time, can produce dark spots.
  4. Antibiotics and hormone treatments: As a side effect, some antibiotics and hormones used as oral contraceptive pills can produce spots.
  5. Viral infections like herpes: The scars from infections like herpes and chickenpox would take time to heal completely and can be a cosmetic issue.

Hormonal issues may cause hyperpigmentation and in that case, we need to supplement herbal tablets for better result and better skin health and glow.

Now, let us look at some simple, herbal ways to manage these:
Natural exfoliation of skin: Wash the skin regularly with plain water before heading out and after returning. 
Aloe vera juice can be used as a cleanser and toner followed by applying vitamin E oil. 

Use the following natural face packs:

  1. Turmeric: Known for its skin lightening properties, turmeric can be mixed with milk or aloe vera pulp or ghee and applied on the skin. Alternately, plain turmeric can be rubbed on the skin once or twice a day to reduce blemishes.
  2. Lemon Juice: Application of plain lime juice is considered as an excellent way to reduce dark spots and blemishes.
  3. Sandalwood: Believed to have great benefits on the skin. Mixed with honey or milk or plain sandalwood as a paste is very beneficial to the skin.
  4. Tomato juice: Mixed with honey is also believed to be good for skin complexion.
  5. Water: Drinking lots of water keeps the skin hydrated and helps the skin keep pigmentation at bay. There would be a natural glow and elasticity of the skin, which is very visible.

In addition to these food substances, there are a lot of topical applications like oils (kumkumadi oil, nalpamaradi oil, eladi oil, and kanaka oil). The treatment should be holistic in that along with topical applications there should be overall reduced exposure to sun and sufficient water consumption to wash off toxins and dead skin cells.
