I am suffering from borderline hepatomegaly, kidney stone and I feel very much pain in my left upper abdomen.

BHMS
Homeopath,
I am suffering from borderline hepatomegaly, kidney stone and I feel very much pain in my left upper abdomen.
Dear lybrate user, a kidney stone is mainly formed due to the accumulation of the minerals present in urine. Such accumulation occurs mainly due to low intake of fluids. Continous low fluid intake results in the deposits of the minerals over the stone & eventually leads to an increase in the size of the stone. If the size of the kidney stone is below 3mm then it is possible to get rid of it without any surgery. Take homoeopathic mother tincture berberis vulgaris q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for 15 days. The stone will be expelled through urine in between the span of 15 days of medication. But if the size of the stone is more than 3mm then you should surely go for surgery. For your hepatomegaly take homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals.

Hi, I am 33 year male live in gurgaon. I am a software engg . I was quite heavy drinker since last 7 years (approx 270 ml whisky at a time & 2-3 times per week) I had no problem but from last year I am suffering from some symptoms 1) reddish face 2) acne on face & skalp 3) abdominal pain (weired - not in same place sometimes left, right, back or even in testicles, groin) it is never persistant it comes and goes automatically 4) amber color urine all this is appeared abruptly from couple of months. Now I have left drinking as well as tobacco, too. But the pain is still there apart from these no other symptoms like" loss of appetite" or nucia, vomitting, yollowish skin, confusion. I am confused that what it could be? I am damn afraid of cirrhosis/ckd. I never checked with doctor cause all these was never intense. What it could be? am I in great trouble? is it the thing I should worry? please help

General Physician (AM)
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Chandigarh
No, it may not be cirrhosis. People with cirrhosis may lose their appetite and experience nausea, vomiting, and severe weight loss. This can lead to shortage of the minerals calcium and magnesium (signs include muscle cramps, fatigue, weakness, nausea, and vomiting), or a shortage of zinc (signs include reduced ability to taste, changes in taste. In your case it not that, may be simple infection or ulcer present. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Consult me in private.

Lemon contains citric acid which decreases the acidity of urine; this prevents the formation of calcium oxalate and uric acid stones. Lemon juice helps break up kidney stones and dissolves them so they can pass easily from the Kidney to the bladder through urination. Too much intake of lemon juice in a day is not good. Normal water you can drink. Daily 3-4 litres of normal water intake is recommended. Boiled and then properly cooled or Luke warm water is preferable to drink. Homoeopathic medicine like berberis, Lycopodium, Hydrangea, etc which helps to dissolve stones easily and eject out through urine. No side effects in HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES. For treatment you can consult me. Please avoid too much intake of non veg.

I am suffering frm kidney stone 4.mm. What can I do to cure it and what is best way to cure.

I am suffering frm kidney stone 4.mm. What can I do to cure it and what is best way to cure.
4 mm is a small size only, it can be easily cleared with ayurvedic medications. You can take 1. Chandraprabha vati tabet 1-1-1 after food 2. Gokshuradi guggulu 1-1-1 after food, for two weeks and do USG again. It is most likely to clear with this simple ayurvedic medication. Later on, keep drinking good amount of water regularly and do not suppress the urge to urinate. These two measure will prevent future recurrence of renal stones.
