Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. You seem to be depressed. First and foremost, I would advise you to meet up any experienced psychologist in person, asap. He/ she shall be able to listen to you in detail and also counsel you therapeutically. Subsequently, you can also meet a marriage counselor who may help you sort out your issues appropriately. Simultaneously, do take care of your diet & lifestyle. Have a healthy and balanced diet, with fresh and juicy fruits at least twice daily, and stay well hydrated. Do exercise daily for at least 30 minutes. Walking, in open air, is the safest as well as the best should you have no other health related constraints. Early morning yoga, pranayam and meditation shall also help you keep focussed, relaxed and help you connect with yourself better. It would facilitate face things, as they come, with ease and also enjoy every moment of your life by being able able to give your best, irrespective. Life is indeed a beautiful gift of God, and I would advise you to remain mentally strong, believe in yourself, and have faith and hope that there always is light at the end of the tunnel, however dark the tunnel may appear to be. If possible, a trip to some hill station or some scenic natural place with plenty of greenery can help you relax, rejuvenate, feel blessed, think clearly and have a fresh perspective. Hope this helps. Do take care, and I wish you all the very best.

If I have cancer and want to get out of it then what are thwme precautions to be taken?

MBBS, MD - Medicine, MD - Oncology, Fellow of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (FRSTM & H)

I do not know if you are really suffering from cancer. To have precautions like, no smoking, no chewing of gutka and paan masala, taking of fibrous foods, maintaining good hygiene will prevent you from developing cancer.

Treating Cancer Through Ayurveda!

Treating Cancer Through Ayurveda!

Ayurveda takes a holistic and in-depth approach, when it comes to the treatment of cancer. Ayurveda considers several factors such as nature of the patient, tissues being affected, and the body energies involved in aggravating the condition of malignancy. Ayurveda aims at bringing the whole system in harmony, so that cancer can be permanently cured and does not recur in future. The body is thoroughly purified from toxins by cleaning the blood through ayurvedic herbs, administration of detoxification diet, deploying lifestyle changes and suppressing negative emotion that might be hampering the spirit of an individual.

Common Ayurvedic approach to treat cancer:

  • Refraining from lifestyle and food that leads to the imbalance of tridosha (vata, pitta, and Kapha).
  • Elimination of toxin from the body through the process of Panchakarma.
  • Rejuvenating the body through Rasayanas.
  • Restoration of digestive power through the extensive use of Ayurvedic herbs.
  • Meditation, Pranayama, yoga, etc to ensure personal healing.
  • Ayurvedic medicines to negate the effect of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Ayurveda Supplements:

  • Curcuma Capsules: This supplement is prepared from the herb Curcuma Longa, having rich medicinal properties. Its anti-oxidic nature helps in reducing free radicals, and increases the overall immunity of the body. 1-2 capsules can immensely help to fix malignant tumors.
  • Kachnaar Guggul: This is a supplement that is produced by mixing a number of herbs such as kachnar bark, bibhitaki, black pepper, varuna, ginger, haritaki, pippali etc. Consuming two tablets a day, can help a malignant tumor patient to keep the tissues and cells healthy.
  • Chanderprabha Vati: This is a supplement that comprises of a mixture of herbs including Shilajit, Vacha, Kapoor, Amla, Haridra, etc. Consuming 2 capsules twice a day can ensure that the cancer cells don't spread to other parts of the body, and the mind gets relaxed.

Ayurvedic recommendation on diet for Cancer patients: Ayurveda suggests consuming cooked vegetables such as carrots, turnips, asparagus, bitter gourd, green leafy vegetables, Brussel, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, etc. Fruits such as kiwi, bananas, mangoes, strawberries, peaches, guava are life saviours for cancer patients. To ensure that the body gets enough protein and carbohydrate, food items such as eggs, lean meat, nuts, chickpeas noodles, corn, dairy products, honey, etc should be consumed. Ayurveda strongly suggests refraining from deep fried food, excessive salt, ham, pickles, processed and oily food etc. Furthermore, one must eschew alcohol and other caffeinated drinks as well.

Lifestyle changes suggested by Ayurveda: To lead a healthy life, Ayurveda strongly suggests patients suffering from cancer to daily practice yoga, drink plenty of water, timely consumption of food, sufficient sleep, and less stress are important to stay fit. These key requisites ensure that ayurvedic medicines and therapies, work in tandem towards curing a person from within.

Prostatitis treatments vary depending on the underlying cause. They can include: Antibiotics. This is the most commonly prescribed treatment for prostatitis. Your doctor will base the choice of medication on the type of bacteria that may be causing your infection. If you have severe symptoms, you may need intravenous (IV) antibiotics. You'll likely need to take oral antibiotics for four to six weeks but may need longer treatment for chronic or recurring prostatitis. Alpha blockers. These medications help relax the bladder neck and the muscle fibers where your prostate joins your bladder. This treatment may lessen symptoms, such as painful urination. Anti-inflammatory agents. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may make you more comfortable. Prostate massage. This is done by your physician using a lubricated, gloved finger — a procedure similar to a digital rectal exam. It may provide some symptom relief, but doctors disagree about how effective it is. Other treatments. Other potential treatments for prostatitis are being studied. These treatments include heat therapy with a microwave device and drugs based on certain plant extracts

MBBS, MD, CCEPC, FISSP, OBS, NFPM

All cancers can not be treated by chemo radiation. Chemo may not benefit in stage 4 cancer. Recent research tells that unnecessary chemo may reduce quality & life span too. Any cancer has only 4 treatments. Surgery, chemo, radiation and pain treatment (MIPI). Pain is the most common problem in stage 3 or 4. please remember Pain definitely can be controlled / treated at any stage of cancer. Pain relief needs dedicated pain management treatment usually offered by Pain specialist doctors. In addition to best cancer specialists, ACCN is proud to have one of the best pain specialist doctors of India. Pain management and cancer treatment goes side by side. Demand a pain free cancer treatment. It is to be remember always that first best and safe treatment for advanced cancers is pain relief treatment with MIPI. Only then one should take other treatments. Pain free journey of cancer ie pain free cancer treatment helps in prolongation of life. Contact on phone or over internet for further discussion.
