I had written to you on 11.03.2015. I have been detected for TB of the lower spine on 24th Jan 2015. Undergoing Anti Tuberculer Treatment since 28.01.2015. 24.02.2015 INH was stopped as I had failed Liver Function Test. On 04.03.2015 ATT was stoped as LFT failed miserably, Billirubin Total-1.32, Direct-0.70, Indirect-0.62 SGOT-868, SGPT-582 LFT on 09.03.2014 bilirubin total- 0.4, direct- 0.24, indirect - 0.16 SGOT (AST)-288.5, SGPT(ALT) - 669.3, GGPT-70.3, Still ATT discontinued. Following medicines were prescribed by doctor for one week. S-AdenosylMethionine 400mg 1 tab 2 times a day Ursodeoxycholic acid ip-450mg 1 tab 2 times a day Zevit- vitamin B complex and C with Zinc Sulphate - once a day Now the latest up-date is given below. 16.03.2015 the test reports are slightly better. Total ? 0.89 max 1.2 Direct-0.26 max 0.20 Indirect- 0.63 max 1.0 SGOT ? 91.3 MAX 35 SGPT ?- 225.5 MAX 46 following medicines were priscribed by doctor for one more week. S-AdenosylMethionine 400mg 1 tab 2 times a day Ursodeoxycholic acid ip-450mg 1 tab 2 times a day Zevit- vitamin B complex and C with Zinc Sulphate - once a day Also prescribed the following Ethambutol Hydrochloride-1200 mg-once a day Levofloxacin - 750mg once a day Refampicin - 450 mg - once a day Report dated 23.03.2015 This week again the test reports are much better. Bilirubin Total ? 0.96 max 1.2 Direct-0.42 max 0.20 Indirect- 0.54 max 1.0 SGOT ? 40.6 MAX 35 SGPT ?- 78.1 MAX 46 To continue with all the above mentioned medicines and he added Pyrazinamide 750mg 2 tablets in a day Further he also informed to take all the ATT medicines together after dinner. LFT dated 30.03.2015 Total ? 1.06 max 1.2 Direct- 0.33 max 0.20 Indirect- 0.73 max 1.0 SGOT ? 441.9 MAX 35 SGPT ?- 727.2 MAX 46 I do not know what the Doctor will say tomorrow as I have failed LFT again. Will ATT be stopped again partially or completely.

It seems as if you are bothered with constipation/irregularities of your bowel habbits. Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases do suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. Also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, compulsorily mixed type of salad must be present at each time when you eat. Add fruits of season to lunch. Extra effort for the problem may be taken in the form of 2 spoons of honey added to half a cup of lukewarm water every morning empty stomach is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed the above, still persistent, medicines may be prescribed. Not now. Hope satisfied regards.

Cold is a seasonal problem or due to allergy, can be treated by simple anti cold remedies or by regular breathing exercise like pranayam. But I am not able to understand the meaning of" thyroid pain" because thyroid gland related conditions cause very little pain in the throat or in the neck. Some times there may be slight pain while swallowing or turning the head. But it is usually mild to moderate. Please make a mention of thyroid hormone levels, that will help in understanding the problem, plus if you have any other symptoms.

Do not worry dear its not a disease. these are the accumulated sperms that comes out naturally.. Take 1 tsf ashwgandha churna twice a day with milk./ 1 month.. Walk a mile after taking dinner. Always sleep in left lateral position. Avoid excessive intake of water before going to bed. Revert back after 15 days for further management.

Here are a few tips to get better sleep: 1.It is important to maintain the same sleep schedule every single day. This helps to naturalize your body clock and get the best quality sleep. 2.Switch off all mobile phones, laptops and other electronic devices. Their artificial glow not only hampers your eyesight, but also prolongs the amount of time your body takes to relax and fall off to sleep. 3.If your back pain causes you to continually wake up in the middle of the night in discomfort, then sleep with a pillow or cushion between your legs so as to straighten out your back and relieve pent up stress. 4.The importance of your pillow can never be stressed upon enough. Your pillow should be not too fat, hard or soft. It should just about support the natural curve of your neck, so that it is perfectly aligned with the centre of your body. Correct sleeping postures are extremely important. 5.Make sure your room is nice and dark so as to stimulate the secretion of a hormone called melatonin that is regulated by light exposure. This problem may be due to some infection in the tract or even a result of small calculi in the kidneys so first do one cue I.e complete urine analysis and get a usg (sonography) of abdomen and pelvis done. U can also have a glass of water in which coriander seeds and whole cumin (jeera has been soaked overnight) this will help in reducing the frequency of urination to some extent.

4) Avoid Sharing Grooming Items- If you are living with someone who has or is at risk of Hepatitis, make sure that you avoid sharing grooming items as undetectable quantities of blood or other bodily fluids on razors and toothbrushes can lead to spread of virus.

5) Alcohol and Drugs - Hepatitis is a high risk among people who use excessive alcohol and over the counter medications. Liver inflammation and liver damage puts individual at risk of contracting Hepatitis and therefore, alcohol or prescription drugs and herbal supplements must be avoided and taken only after physician’s consultation.

6) When Travelling- Avoid eating raw fruits, vegetables and raw shellfish, avoid eating at unhygienic places, brush teeth and rinse mouth with clean water, avoid iced drinks or adding ice to the drinks while traveling to avoid contracting the condition.

Hi you are too young. First of all we have to know you are type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or mody. Then treatment will be decided. Send me your body weight hight, your occupation? your life style active or sedantary. Any body of your close relatives having diabetes like parents brothers sisters. I will need your following investigations - cbc, fbs, ppbs, lft, kft, serum amylase, hba1c, thyroid profile, insulin and c- peptide levels. Glucokinase levels. Send me these reports, then I will be able to advise you.
