I was taking dilwas 2.5 mg for bp for over two months. Now my doctor advice to take amlovin 5 mg. Dilwas 2.5 and amlovin 5 mg tablets among which is better. Whether it's good to take bp medicine at bed time.

For purely blood pressure control if you have no heart problem or diabetes and if you are greater than 65 years of age I would suggest Amlovin 5 mg is better or otherwise Dilwas can be increased to 10 mg a day to achieve optimum blood pressure. At the end of day it is important to achieve ideal blood pressure regardless of what type of medication you use as long as you can tolerate it and does not produce untoward side effects in both short and long run.
