Hello, it's common to hv joint pain in a chronic diabetic condition. Maintain all sorts of anti diabetic norms, advices by your diabetologist along with your proper medication. Go for a walk in d morning to restore your blood circulation to nourish whole body of yours. Tk, homoeo medicne: @ colocynth 200-6 pills, thrice. @'ruta g 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Avoid, caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, junk food, direct sweets, cold drinks. Tk care.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Here I mention few simple things which gives you good result in a short period, 1) avoid coffee and tea, 2) try to sleep prior to 10.30 pm, 3) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods, a) take 30 ml of rubyclin liquid before meals and 2-2 tablets of roupyayukta-tapyadi-loha and panchtikta-ghruta-guggul vati after meals do all these things for 15 days. It is not a symptom of stroke. In stroke, there is sudden loss of muscle power and/or loss of sensation to a part of body/ half of the body. The person may become unable to move the affected limb/side and he doesn't feel touch/pain/temperature sensations.

Hi the knee is the largest weight-bearing joint in the body and takes significant stress when an individual walks, runs, or plays sports. Pain with bending the knee is a sign of injury or damage within the joint like arthritis, patellar tendonitis. Etc. Visit physiotherapist for diagnosis and treatment or consult me via lybrate. Is quite a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use this no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take you may have to use lumbosacral support for some time. Avoid painful act/activities. Take medicines as prescribed it may have to be further investigated.

You will have to notice whether pain disappear when you are sleeping on bed. If pain decrease then it is a mechanical pain and you will have to do back bending (extension exercise) 10 reparations every hour. If then also you are not feeling better then go for x-ray of lumber spine (ap+lat)

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Dear at ur age it mainly occurs due to improper posture, try the tips they will help u:: 1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7. Do bhujangasana, mandukasana, shalabhasana and natrajasana daily for 10 min in morning. 8. Always sit straight and stand straight.

Hello lybrate-user, Not all herniated discs require surgery. The decision to operate is taken by a informed spine surgeon after thoroughly evaluating your problem clinically and examining you. Only if there is correlation of clinical and MRI findings and you have tried non operative methods, should you consider getting operated. Microscopic discectomy is a better option than open discectomy as it leads to less blood loss, faster recovery, less post operative pain and earlier return to work. Regards.

Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Dear lybrate-user, do you go for jogging everyday or you have started only recently. If you have started jogging only recently then I think you need to do warm up and stretching exercises first and the start jogging other wise you will have muscle cramps and other complications like tendinitis and even tear of tendons. But if you are a regular jogger and having recent onset of pain then better consult an orthopaedic surgeon.

: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hello lybrate-user, you have multiple problems and you definitely need to get a thorough check up. You can consult me if you want a homoeopathic or naturopathy remedy for your problem. As you said you are suffering from cervical spondylosis. So first tell me your age & profession. If you have done the xray of cervical spine then send me the reports of the xray so that I shall know the exact conditions of your problems. Apart from it, follow these instructions to get relief from cervical spondylosis. * first correct your sitting posture. Do not use laptops or mobile for more than 1-2 hours if yo have to work on computer then the screen of computer should be in the same level to your eyes. * you can use cervical collar for support during work. * do regular neck muscle strength exercises. Move your neck clockwise and anticlock wise for 2-3 minutes daily. * do not sleep on very soft bed, sleep on slight hard cotton mattress with very low pillow level. * do tadasana and bhjangasana for back strengthening. If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin d supplements regularly. *do not take any heavy weight or heavy work. * if you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight.
