U mean facial nerve paralysis? treatment depends on the phase of the disease it includes corticosteroids, antivirals, and physical therapy. Primary importance in your case is to give supportive treatment to eye ie lubricants eye patch.

There's nothing to worry frequency of urine could b due to cold weather,n moreover kids easily get hungry,take care.. if baby is crying during urination or soon after urination then there might b issue.. this cry is due to hunger so u don't have to wry..

Healthy Habits Every Mother Should Teach Her Kids!

It’s not always easy to encourage your children to eat a balanced diet.

Eating breakfast, even if it’s just a banana and a glass of milk, kick-starts the body and makes it easier to maintain lasting energy throughout the day.

It’s easy to reach for chips or biscuits when you and your children feel like nibbling on something, but these snacks tend to be low in nutrients and high in calories.

Make water the drink of choice at meal times, and keep juice and sweet drinks as occasional treats.

You decide which foods to buy and when to serve them. Though kids will pester their parents for less nutritious foods, adults should be in charge when deciding which foods are regularly stocked in the house. Kids won’t go hungry.


While juice has valuable nutrients and gives a concentrated energy boost for active, growing bodies, kids should go for water first when they are thirsty, not sugar-sweetened drinks.

Hi my son is 4 years 6 mths he keeps falling sick every now and then of cold & cough. He don't not like to eat any vegetables. Again & again I have to take him to doctor. Pls advice.

Dear Lynbrate user Till the age of 5yrs children get about 5to 6 episodes of cough and cold so give him home remedies like Honey with ginger Honey with tulsi Honey with lemon Give him warm soups Besan Ka shira But if his breathing is fast or he is having fever 101or more then take him to doctor. Do get his Heamogram done to rule out Anaemia or any infection. If your family eats vegetables then he too will learn.but donot force feed him.

Meanwhile you try to make her speak, (speech therapy by yourself) and I need her birth & development (like when she turned over and smiles, started telling baa baa) weight at birth and now head circumference and birth history (normal, caesarean and if baby kept in incubator, feed given now) to give a scientific advice.   1. Eggs, pulses, lean meats and other healthy protein: Immunity buildup may be disrupted if there isn’t enough protein in your diet.   7. Carrots to fight infection: Carrots are beneficial for good eyesight and protection from infections. Her weight is in normal range. Probably like all anxious parents, you are trying to control her which she doesn't like. under this condition what else she can do? Tell me. Your anxiety makes you forget that she has a mind of her own, which would not like to be dictated by others.Live her alone, love her unconditionally. Let her exercise her choice about what,when and how to eat. Then she will be more receptive to your advice. Practice what you preach, eat everything in front of /with her, whatever you want her to eat. Hope this helps.

No dear, full correction is not possible without surgery. Post bt shunt child would mostly need bidirectional glenn surgery at later age (usually around a year or two depending upon child's oxygen sats.) but don't worry next 2 surgeries requirement in your baby (approx) would not be difficult as child would be bigger by then. While bt shunt is major surgery in neonatal age group.

How to effectively handle work related stress

The statistics on stress at workplace are staggering with half of respondents in studies reporting that they face higher than normal stress levels at work. Stress is a silent killer and can lead to serious health issues like stroke and heart attack. Stress at the workplace could be due to excessive workloads, unclear responsibilities, lack of control, unrealistic deadlines and noisy work environment.

While it is a good thing to be competitive and excel in whatever you are doing, it is also very important to learn to tackle stress and take life easy. Remember, we live only once! here are some simple and effective ways to handle workplace stress:

1. Seek support at work

Research has shown that having one good friend at work reduces the chances of quitting. Sharing your thoughts with another person not only reduces the stress levels but also might lead to discovering new ways to handle tough situations. Take proactive steps to be more friendly and sociable at work.

2. Manage work better

Try prioritizing better and not expecting perfection in every task. In case your role is over-loaded, try talking to your manager to reduce the load or if possible, delegate some work. Accept that you have certain limits to your productivity and do not try to prove yourself by over-working.

3. Get moving

It is a proven fact that exercises in any form reduces stress levels. Try to exercise for half an hour daily in the form walking, swimming, playing a sport or running. You can take short walking breaks at work that can add up to half an hour in a day.

4. Try breathing exercises

Breathing deeply for four counts on inhale and exhale can reduce stress levels immediately. You can try alternating breathing exercise i. E. Long inhale with one nostril and exhaling with the other nostril, which brings focus and energy in the morning before starting work.

Avoid processed food, sugar and high amount of refined carbs like flour, white rice etc. Maintaining your blood glucose levels by eating more complex carbohydrates that are slowly digested like ragi, jowar, bajra gives you steady energy levels throughout the day.

7. Get enough sleep

Avoid looking at laptop, tv or phone screens when you are trying to fall asleep.

You have not written diet schedule. As per child should be six times a day fresh food prepared at home contain cereals like whearfloor, rice whole cooked soft. Self taking ang self eating is important at this age even if child donot eat a nything for two|three days.
