I had pain in my elbow from last two weeks, sometimes when I stretch my hand, it feels like paining.
Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, I guess you have tennis elbow. Avoid sports activity if any. Else avoid any activity which causes you pain (for the next 15 days). Do hot fomentation and apply volitra gel, 2-3 times a day and support your elbow with a 3' crepe bandage in day hours. Take indocap sr and pentop, one each twice a day for 7- 10 days. I hope you will settle. If not. Revert to me. Take care.

Hello, you can visit to nearest physiotherapy center, till then follow these advices - * apply some cotton to release pressure under the shoes. *contrast bath therapy- immerse your foot in hot water tub then immerse in cold water tub. Repeat the process till 10 mins.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of pain in shoulder region but you are very young and should not be having persistent pain. Is it one shoulder or both which are affected? apart from pain, do you also have stiffness in the affected joints, skin redness or any other s/s of inflammation like swelling, local warmth etc? is there any previous h/o injury to the affected shoulder also? please send me the relevant investigations and treatment taken till now. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do stretching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief see a physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Please get treated for bladder stone. Now this can be done endoscopically. Weight gain can be done by balanced diet. Anything being absorbed by body or not depends upon whether rught nutrition is reaching in your diet or not. Green leafy vegetables and fruits may not provide calories but they do provide all essential nutrients which will lead to complete nutrition and weight gain.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Apply hot fomentation twice daily.

Hi Apply ice pack to affected area for 5 mins ,3-4 times daily. Do contrast bath i.e cold and hot fomentation. Use soft and comfortable footwear. Avoid prolonged standing and walk for long distance. Consult to a Physiotherapist and to learn proper stretching exercises. Take care.
