How is creatine related to diabetes? When diabetics is normal is creatine comes to normal state?
Hi, creatinine is a by product or a metabolite of muscle activity (protein break down product). It is directly not related to diabetes but to the effective kidney functioning. In diabetes kidneys are affected leading to increased level of creatinine in the serum. In other words if diabetes is well controlled kidneys remain in good shape and creatinine levels will remain low.

There is no permanent cure. Some precautions taken can prevent major problem due to stones, early treatment. Having plenty of water on regular basis will prevent stone getting larger in sixe as they are flushed out early. Still stones may form in those parts of kidney where natural drainage is poor. For this there are some excercises which involve head down erect posture allowing drainage of such parts. Eswl is safe but like every procedure it also has some risks but less then other major procedures.

Urine Irritation Problem

MBBS, MD - Paediatrics, CRT in Autism

Why Urine irritation problem occurs?

Hello everyone I am doctor Gaurav Nigam. I am a pediatrician by profession. I want to talk about a very common complaint which mostly parents come with especially of one or two month old babies.

They tell me that mostly these children are crying a lot passing out urine. The thing is they go from one doctor to the other doctor so many times that they have given this medicine and that medicine whereas there is no medicine required for it. Each and every one of us has a bladder and that bladder gets filled with urine. The thing in these children is that bladder is very small compared to their size. What happens is when the urine fills in it gets distended. It cannot be compared to the feeling of discomfort and that is the reason why baby cries.

So when the bladder fills baby cries and when he passes out the urine the bladder gets empty and baby stops crying. This is a classical cycle which happens every time when a baby passes out urine in certain cases of course. And this is an absolutely normal thing. So for this thing you don't really have to seek the doctor. I think that should solve a lot of queries of a lot of parents.

If you want to seek any help any query that you have for me. You can contact me through lybrate.

What is prostate? What are the reasons for its enlargement, and what is the treatment.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
What is prostate? What are the reasons for its enlargement, and what is the treatment.
The prostate is a gland in men. The prostate grows larger due to an increase in the number of cells (hyperplasia). However, the precise reason for this increase is unknown. A variety of factors may be involved, including androgens (male hormones), estrogens, growth factors and other cell signaling pathways. Once the diagnosis of prostate enlargement is made, your doctor may not recommend immediate treatment if symptoms are mild. Likely, one or more exams will be conducted per year to be sure that you are not developing any complications from prostate enlargement. Should your symptoms become more severe, both medical and surgical treatments are available.

You need to be examined by a surgeon to see if you have piles or anal fissure or a combination of both. Treatment will depend on the cause.

Small stones upto 7mm may pass spontaneously with medicines. Larger stones require endoscopic or surgical removal or sometimes ultrasonic breakage. Have plenty of water. Get ultrasound kub done.

Hi I am 34 male my coronary angiography report. Clinical resume. Recent amwi; thrombolysed with stk here on 9.1.2017....
As per your mentioned report, you had an heart attack which seems to have been managed well due to timely thrombolysis and as per this report only minimal blockage is present in this report. Based on this report the medical advice that has been given to you is fine. But we cannot comment with 100% surety without looking at the angiography CD, because sometimes the study is either not interpreted or done correctly, but assuming that this is the report your present treatment is ok.

You should follow these very important and simple things to prevent stone formation & to get sure treatment of kidney stones: 1. First take a lot of fluid daily. The more you drink water and fluid, the less amount of deposit accumulate in kidney. So you have to make your kidneys healthy just only by drinking 2-3 liters (10-12 glasses) of water. 2. Stones are mainly formed of calcium and oxalate. So take very low quantity of milk, cheese, cream and dairy products. 3. Do not take strawberry, plum, spinach and tomatoes. These fruits and vegetables are rich in oxalate. So avoid them to prevent from kidney stones. 3. Stop taking supplementary vitamin d and calcium medication. 4. Avoid animal protein diet- eggs, red meat, fish in diet. 5. Take less amount of salt, pickle and western foods. They have high amount of sodium. So avoid it. 6. Urinary infection are also one of the cause of stone. So take proper antibiotic treatment of urinary infection on time. Even when you feelburning sensation or pain during urination, don't avoid it. Take medication as soon as possible. I hope you follow them in your life andstay healthy. 7. You can take gokshur tablets of himalaya for 3 months. It definitely get relief from kidney stones. 8.
