I am a smoker for 3 years am gradually reducing it. Bt now a days I hav some symptoms that make me frightened .i hav a pain in ma chest and shoulders. Thats come and going. And breathing problems .am afraid is it sign of lung cancer. Before some months I hav serious cough nd blood on mucus .aftr consulting a doctor, cough nd blood on mucus gone bt chest pain nd shoulders pain is still coming. An itching pain on chest. Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age pain could be due to acidity - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, also restrict intake of tea, coffee to 1-2 cups per day - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - to strengthen your heart you have to have a well balanced nutritious diet, do regular exercise like brisk walking, jogging, swimming, also do moderate weight lifting twice a week, also include yoga, meditation & deep breathing for: 5-10 min daily in the morning - sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night - your BP, blood sugar, cholesterol should be within normal limits - you can have any seasonal fruit & vegetables including green leafy ones in your diet.

Symptoms of heart attack-- pain chest mostly central, severe distress or discomfort in chest, pain goes to throat as if someone is throttling the pt, pain may refer to arm (left side, sometimes to right arm and neck (mimics cervical spondylosis), sweating a lot, indigestion flatulence & urge to toilet (mimics stomach upset) and feeling of exhaustion & prostration.

Heart attack is common term for Myocardial infarction, when there is 100% obstruction to blood flow in one of the blood vessels supplying heart. Cardiac arrest is sudden stoppage of heart leading to stoppage of blood circulation. This can occur with or without heart attack. Stroke is a term variously used. Some people use it for heart attack(Heart stroke) some people use it for brain stroke. There is no condition in which heart can explode like a bomb. If you swallow one, then its a different matter!!!

Hi, try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journey. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have at least one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Share your weight-loss journey with a family member or friend so that you are accountable to each other. 11. Green tea at least once a day will help you boost your metabolism 12. Sleep helps in repair and regulating your hormones. Sleep atleast 8 hours in a day. 13. Have fruits at least twice a day.

1. For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress, depression, physical and mental strain, hyper acidity, muscular problem 2. Avoid stress and strain 3. Do regular exercise, reduce your weight if over weight. 4. Control your diet. Avoid oily/spicy/fried and junk food, high calorie and cholesterol rich diet. Take small frequent meals (5-6 meals/day instead of three heavy meals. If you have hyper acidity take one tablet of pan 40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days 5. Do yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress. 6. Have sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily. 7. Avoid smoking, alcohol, excess tea/coffee, if you are having 8. Drink plenty of water and take rest 9. Takecrocin advance one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets per day at the time of chest pain 10. If you have recurrent attack of chest pain check your bp, take ecg, x ray chest and consult physician for advice and treatment.

I am having dizziness when moving sideways and downwards and also walking. I tested vemp hearing test for this. Experts recommend that men ages 35 and older and women ages 45 and older be more frequently screened for lipid disorders. The lipoprotein profile includes: Total cholesetrol LDL (low-density lipoprotein CHOLESETROL also called "bad"CHOLESTETROL HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) TRIGLYCERIDES (fats carried in the BLOOD from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into TRIGLYCERIDES and stored in fat cells throughout the body. High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Hello, this might be because of as and acidity so take Gastrobin (WSG), 10 drops+ 1/2 cup of water, half an hour before meals, 3 times a day. Natrum phos 6x, 4 tablets at a time, 3 times a day 10 mins. after meals. Drink 10 to 12 glasses of water daily. Revert me after 7 days.

Plz help me. I feel very uncomfortable from 1 week. Tips for removing kidney stones: 1. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol, cold drinks, pickles, fish, poultry, meat, spinach, and chocolate. 2. Avoid sour, heavy, and dry food. 3. Increase intake of liquids like water, juice, soup, lime water lemon soda etc. 4. Be sure to drink enough water each day. Usually 1 to 2 liters of water per day is adequate. 5. Drink more if you are perspiring heavily, working outdoors, the weather is hot, etc. 6. Increase the use of barley, horse gram (a type of bean), ginger, and brown rice or parboiled rice. 7. Avoid suppressing urges to urinate and defecate. 9. Boil 10-12 basil leaves in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in it and take twice a day. Pls send your usg report becoz medication for stones depends upon size number and location of stones and can be given after usg. Consult your physician regarding hypertension clinically.
